Holy Pho, my new favorite Pho restaurant! We were tipped off when someone from out of town said every time they visit ABQ they HAVE to eat at Viet's Pho. Of course we accepted the challenge and was not disappointed! The staff was incredibly respectful, prompt and courteous. The menu is easily formatted to pick whatever plate your in the mood for. We ordered the spring rolls and egg rolls, delicious. We also ordered the #13, Chicken and Beef Pho and #14 Rare Beef and Beef Pho, wow, soo delicious and filling! They give you a generous amount of sides and the serving could be shared but they also offer the extra large serving for an additional $3.00, not bad! The Jasmine tea and iced coffee were amazing. It's a quant and quiet restaurant and the environment is welcoming and you can see that all the patrons are happy to be eating at Viet's Pho! Me and my mom wanted to try this new Vietnamese restaurant since our other one closed. It was delicious. I got the chickenvand eggroll noodle bowl. They give you a lot. My mom ordered the shrimp and eggroll noodle bowl. But they give too many shrimps. They put a pretty good amount of chicken in mine so I was satisfied. I also ordered a ban mi sandwich the next time I went but it was kind of small for the price. It was good though. I was expecting it to be bigger. It is kind of loud when there are lots of people, so it makes it hard to talk. But the food was excellent. Me and my mom crave this place now. We found our new favorite place. We just went to the restaurant today, a Sunday, for the first time. We were seated right away. Service was awesome in every way. Food was delicious. My husband had a curry dish that he asked be made mild. I had the combination fried rice. Portions were huge, and everything was super tasty. We used to come to this location when it was another restaurant, which in many ways was a little run down in its later years. But the new owners have made the place bright and cheery. Wow, I'm from orange county, CA and I just visited Albuquerque, NM. I was really surprised & happy that the city have an excellent Vietnamese restaurant in Albuquerque. The food are tasty and authentic Vietnamese food. I rate 5 stars because of the good food, and a very friendly server (especially chi. Le) , she was very welcome and a nice lady. She recommended us all the good foods and we loved them, she helped us to know things to do around the town when we asked. I've put off writing this review for selfish reasons. I just want to keep this gem for myself. But I guess I will fill you in on why you NEED to come here. It's the incredible food. I'll be perfectly honest, you could treat me like trash at this place and I would still come back because the food is absolutely phenomenal. (The service is great, so don't be afraid. ) The menu seems quite extensive upon first glance, but fret not my friend, it is easy to understand. Cboose your noodle, choose your meat, line them up and you've got a match made in heaven. The food comes out quick and piping hot. I was excited to try this place based on reviews. It wasn't bad but it wasn't different, better or worse than any of the others in town. I will give it 1 more try- we didn't get pho. I'll try that next time. I got the noodle bowl (bun bowl) with shrimp and egg roll. It was good, not great. Not flavorful, it could use mint or basil with the lettuce cucumbers and sprouts. It could use more veggies. Some lime on top. More peanuts. Just really basic and kinda boring. My boyfriend got vegetable fried rice. It was pretty bad actually. Looked beautiful lots of veggies, broccoli and zucchini. But the rice tasted like the grill. It was over oily and didn't have any seasoning or flavor. read more

This is the 15th pho restaurant that I've been too. And it will be top 8 of places I've dined at. The food came in a timely manner. I like my spring rolls shrimp and pork but I was notified that they are only able to use one or the other. The pho came in a great amount, I got a large and it didn't fail to be a large bowl. It was on the greasy side and you can tell with the bubbles on the top of the soup. The food overall was really good, just minor inconveniences. They also had my favorite chili to mix with so that was great. A great place for family and friends to eat together or a work lunch get together. The vibe was calm and relaxing. Awful, I'm a vegan and I tried to eat here and apparently all the "vegetarian" dishes are all cooked in the same pot as all the meat, so pretty much "vegetarian" dishes contain meat. Awful service they were talking to me as I was an idiot lol. read more

It really doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is a comfy place to be in. It has a good atmosphere. I just ate there for the first time because I was craving something healthy, something that wasn't fast food. The price and the serving were beyond amazing. Super sketchy location. Almost borderline dangerous. The food is great so I have been a few times but seriously droves of homeless and druggies hang out outside . Don't believe me? This is a wonderful little restaurant that you should try. It has a large menu, great food and it is clean. The staff is amazing. Service was unobtrusive and efficient when we were talking, and very friendly and willing to chat when I had questions. They hit every point in service you could ask for, happy greeting at the door, knowledgeable and personable discussion of the menu, checks for satisfaction, and topping off drinks. Viet's Pho opened up in an old chinese restaurant this year. I didn't know what to think about it seeing as there are several others on Menaul and nearby, but after giving up on Viet Taste, I gave them a try. I noticed several of my favorite servers from Viet Taste were now working here, and I got the scoop that one of the chefs, his wife, and the dining area crew had opened Viet's Pho . I really wish them the best because they are doing a great job with the food by keeping it affordable and good. read more

Viet pho's food and service is amazing. Came in at noon and it was busy. A good sign. I ordered a number 46 a pork egg roll bowl. Good portions hot and fresh when brought to the table. The pork was so tasty tasted like grilled viet bbq'd pork, It was delicious. The staff was on it, and helped each other out keeping the flow of traffic and food delivery smooth. I have frequented this facility long before the virus came into existence and was extremely disappointed when they temporarily closed. Now that they are open with limited services I have made a point of placing an order as often as I can. Was visiting town and had a craving for Pho. This place popped up on Yelp so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant don't look like much inside and it did take the server about ten minutes to get my drink order. The place was about 1/3 full. A big selection of Vietnamese dishes on the menu. I had the combination soup dish, it included pork, beef abs chicken along with rice noodles. A side of bean sprouts, celantro and jalapeños come with each soup dish. Food was great!
