Stopped in for a drink during happy hour. I had a glass of pinot noir and a glass of their mulled wine...both very good especially the mulled wine. The bartender was friendly and she let me charge my cell phone (thanks!). I imagine it's a completely different type of spot at night but I really liked it and all of the specialty cocktails looked really good. read more

Good solid dive bar for a get-together. The back room is especially cozy for private parties. Comfortable seats.

Crowded as fuck on a Friday night. Line of about 6 people outside at the door. The party was okay the dj was playing some older top 40 dance songs. Def. had that college student vib going on here with young people ordering Belvedere etc. My friend ran into someone she knew from DC and spoke to him like the entire time we were there lol. Vig Bar seems like it would be a really cool place to hang out on a weeknight when it's more low-key. On a Saturday, packed with birthday parties, not as fun. However, I give it props for good music, easy door (although there is a line late into the night around 11:30pm-12:00am), and good bar service. read more

I was just there, ordered a budweiser. My boyfriend went to wipe the bottle's mouth to drink from it and his hand got deeply cut! Because the bottle's mouth was chipped. They didn't even notice?? They gave us napkins and a napkin drenched in vodka to "clean it up!!!!" The bartender underacted, the busboy told us to do whatever the "fuck" we wanted when I asked for the manager. This place is disgusting, Irresponsible, and unhygenic. It should not even get 1 star. Avoid this place at all costs!!! If you're the manager and you read this, you should contact us with an apology at least. Is just bad business, you should know better than to run a joint like that. read more

Honestly the best part of the night was the bouncers. There were several pretentious lil douch bags on line, and I can tell the Bouncers were trying 2 be cool & fair. Women were like "I never wait on line because I'm pretty" and the dudes were like "can i get in now" over & over again, the doormen let loose a serious of jokes and had everyone cracking up, they were like a tag team. It helped to releive the tension of the long line. it was very, very, very crowded, but the drinks were reasonable and the staff was fast. I celebrated my birthday here on Saturday and this was one of the Best birthdays ever! Non pretentious - GREAT atmosphere and music spun by the DJ - easy to reserve tables - AMAZING service and friendly staff. I had around 30-40 people, and everyone could get in with ease- no lines or covers. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fun cool bar with great music. read more

I love this bar. My buddy Elliot is one of the bartenders here and he makes awesome cocktails, especially the one that tastes like sour patch kids. All jokes aside, this is a great bar in Nolita with great drinks, an awesome vibe, and great music almost every night of the week. Pretty standard pub/bar with a slightly douchey vibe in Soho. My friends like it here, so that's why I end up here sometimes. Dance floor in the back is a bonus, and can be awesome or crap depending on your mood. Similar crowd as Sweet and Vicious next door, if that helps. read more

One of my favorite bars. Happy hour is a really good deal. Bartenders are always very friendly. This is a good bar to go with a friend for a chat or a date. There are booths and tables that are very cozy for dates. No food, but all the bartenders make great drinks. read more

Vig's is great is your looking for a reasonably priced drink and dancing. We were a group of 8 and sort of made up our own dance floor since there really isn't one. It was pretty crowded and loud, so great for dancing not so much for talking. All-in-all is was really fun. read more
