Vick is by far the most professional mechanic I have met. I own a Porsche(will mention later what type) and am very cautious about who touches my vehicle. I was driving in the valley leaving a meeting with some clients as I started to hear some cranking noise coming from under the hood. As an avid YELP user, I searched for the nearest German Auto expert in the area. I stumbled upon Vicks' s shop and gave him a call right away to see if I can stop in and see what the noise I kept hearing was. He answered the phone and within minutes of talking to him, I knew he was the guy to see, as I live 25 miles away and my mechanic is too far out to risk more trouble to my vehicle. I pulled in to the shop seeing the banners outside glaring "GRAND OPENING" with "Works" spelled as "Werks".I quickly wondered if this guy is some newly auto tech school graduate. WRONG! !! Vick and I spoke for about half an hour before I put my mind at ease. He knows what he's talking about! Long story short, I think I found my new mechanic for my Porsche GT3RS . Took my wife's car to see if they can check the power steering. First tech I talked with was nice and welcoming. He did a quick inspection and asked me to wait for Vik. I waited and waited, then waited more. Finally talked with Vik briefly since he was so busy servicing fleet vehicles. He didn't want anything to do with me or my business. He said he was too busy. I asked him if it would be better to come another time/day. He simply replied it's always like this while he shook his head and threw his hands up in the air with frustration. He said I can leave it here and he'll get to it. Yeah right, I'm not leaving my car with someone who obviously doesn't need my business or cares about taking the time to make a new customer. To clarify, no work was performed on my car. I simply told him that I would go somewhere else. I'm sure he does great work, but for me it's a big failure. Beware if you take your car here. Vick is a very honest and very knowledgeable mechanic. He has done a brake job, on my 2013 Audi A6 for a very reasonable price. He also has the right tools and scanners to fix and service new Audi's. When my sister's Audi, a 2007 A3, needed an overdue oil change, I called him to make sure he was free. He quickly serviced my car and reset the service indicator computer; like a dealer would do but for a far more reasonable price. He also pointed out that the axle boot on one side had started to rip when he inspected the vehicle. He was very thorough when he serviced my car and, like dealers would do, checked the pressure on my tires! I highly recommend Vick because of his honesty, knowledge and passion for cars. read more

Came in for a synthetic oil change for an extremely decent price (after calling a handful of places asking $75+ not bad but not what Vikaro offered) and then I was informed I had a nail in my tire for $10 they plugged it up and I was out with everything topped off and ready to go within 30 min. I am not one to write reviews but I had to write this one. I can't say enough good things about this place. Vik is by far the most professional and honest mechanic I have ever met. For about three months, I battled with getting my car (BMW 530i) to pass the smog inspection. Smog inspectors at three different stations didn't know exactly what the problem was. A mechanic who thereafter promised to find and fix the problem practically duped me. Plus he was incorrectly recommending more repairs that would not have fixed the problem. Vik was recommended to me by a friend who spoke highly of him. Out of his busy schedule, he promptly checked my car and quickly diagnosed the problem. No charge for diagnostics! He called for the spare parts immediately to my hearing and I knew right away the cost of the repairs. He's very transparent and pricing was very very fair. In a heartbeat, Vik fixed a problem where others had failed for about three months! My car PASSED the smog test finally! The auto repair industry is inundated with unscrupulous characters, giving it such a horrible reputation. Vik is the opposite. I was driving in the SFV on a late Sat afternoon and my 2007 BMW suddenly started to overheat and had several warning messages to slow down and stop the car. Not able to drive far, I pulled into Viks shop and he was able to immediately diagnose my problems and give me a quote for the repair. Vik did not charge for a diagnostic as many other shops often do. His price was more than fair since I have been to other independent BMW repair shops.
