We came to visit my sister and wanted to go somewhere delicious to eat. She recommended this place and it didn't disappoint! From the various Brazilian steakhouses I have been to, this is now one of my top two! The meat that came around was plentiful and the salad bar was filled with so many delightful and tasty dishes. Went this past Friday for dinner to celebrate my birthday and I loved it! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Cass was very helpful in helping us decide what we should get for dessert. She was very attentive and welcoming loved her spirit. The place was clean and the music created a great experience. I will definitely be back and I would recommend to anyone looking for a great dinner spot. Excellent restaurant--very fair prices at $35 for adults for Saturday dinner and $13 for kids... this is unlimited steak you are talking about! The picanha was fabulous and I had a bunch. Yes they had some other stuff, but picanha is my favorite, but suit yourself! They don't have things like filet or ribeye that some much more expensive buffets have, and I'm OK with that--picanha is the best thing at Brazilian steakhouses, in my opinion. The buffet had all my favorites--cheesy bread, fried plantains, olives, peppers, mashed potatoes, and more--fried cauliflower, barbacoa, fried fish, and many, many other dishes that I didn't get to try because I was shoveling down steak. The flan dessert was also quite good. Service was impeccable--sometimes with a new restaurant there are understandable hiccups, but they went above and beyond to guarantee a smooth opening. Lots of people checking on us, making sure we got the buffet meats we wanted, refilling our waters, taking our plates, etc. They had live music and it was pretty good as well, good singer. Beautiful restaurant, clean restrooms, didn't get to see the part of the restaurant that overlooked the lake, but I recommend you make reservations and ask to sit there... looked like a great view. Recently had the pleasure of visiting this establishment for dinner and frankly the entire experience was a pleasant surprise. The salad/side bar was robust with options not typical of most brazilian steak restaurants, it was not just a salad and cheese bar, it offered warm sides as well. Seeing additional options made the experience that much more enjoyable. My wife had the espresso martini and I had the red and both drinks were served properly. Our waiter knew the wine list well. He was a warm and welcoming character in our evening out. He helped in making our evening sincerely great. The atmosphere was quaint. It made our evening away from the kids a memorable evening. Prime cuts constantly being presented and enjoyed. We closed out the night with a couple of espressos along with delicious desserts. I had the crème brûlée while my wife enjoyed a mango flavored creation. It was the perfect way to close a wonderful night out. Vila Brazil is definitely worth the drive out to Rockwall. read more

DISAPPOINTING. Just left after making reservations at 5pm for me & my Wife's Anniversary. Wasn't busy at all, after the meats started coming out my wife requested for Well-Done (which is an option). We notified our waiter (whom barely checked on us) two different times about it. Then 20 minutes later, even one of the meat servers asked us & we verified with him. Then another 20 minutes pass by, I asked what seemed to be one of the managers in charge about the well done meats & she said they would be coming. At this point it's been over an hour of waiting Long & behind the couple next to us asked for Well-Done meats & a few minutes later they were served it. At this point I flagged down the manager. Idk what even happened to our waiter. Notified the manager we wanted our check & let her know we never received service for any well done meats. She tells us she'll be right back, all of a sudden two different meat servers came to us. At this point it's been an hour & half, we waited long enough. First time I have EVER left a No Tip. I still felt bad doing it too. But that's how Disappointed I was. All these reviews applaud the service & it just wasn't there. All this hype, I mean how many times did we have to notify somebody just to get some service.? Don't make the mistake I did & book your anniversary here. read more

Amazing experience! My big family and I came for thanksgiving and we got amazing service. The restaurant is beautiful and not too noisy even when it's full. The buffet is fresh and there are so many amazing meat choices and they cater to your preferences very well. The service was friendly and timely, our waters were always full, drinks were always offered, and our table was cleaned often. Our server Cassidy was very attentive and sweet!
