It was Father's Day and the family knows that on this day, it must be steak. Vila Brazil is hidden behind many large franchises and it's beautifully located next to water. Parking can be an issue due to the different restaurants around it but it was not a problem since the reservation was made when the doors opened. We were seated and quickly moved to get our plates. The set up include a variety of salads, in the middle different dishes that just fill you up just by seeing the large number of possibilities and side dishes with cheese bread. The restrooms are located on the far right side when you enter the establishment which are very clean. As you know, the goal was the arrival of the cuts and sure enough as Maximus said, "unleash hell" the serves arrived with a tornado of meats ifferent chicken cuts, picaña, sirloin, pork ribs, lamb and at the end warm cinnamon pineapple. All the cuts were dripping in juice and seasoning. Due to the day, it was hard to get regular stops yet the mission was accomplished. Fat and happy dad. I finished with a sluce of flan that was found at the food bar. This steakhouse has more options than others I have eaten in the DFW area. Great tasting food and effective service just remember the price is the price. This is a must return after I've digested all that meat so 2029, here I come. read more

Not sure how long Vila Brazil has been here, but now that I'm aware it's going to become a place I frequent. The layout is very similar to most Brazilian steakhouses. The rooms are dimly lit with standard white tablecloth settings and minimal decor. One thing that sets them apart however, is the fact that the back dining room area has this beautiful view overlooking Lake Ray Hubbard. You have the option to dine outside and enjoy the setting sun as you eat, certainly adds a romantic vibe for the lovers. The only drawback with dining outdoors is having to watch for flies/gnats . If you're lucky enough to be seated in the back room though, you get the view without the hassle & after dinner can always choose to walk out onto the patio. Another thing or two that I can commend Vila Brazil on are their seasoning skills & side selections. Each meat had a different flavor profile, which made them more interesting to eat. When it comes to the sides, you want it they have it (especially hot sides, which I find the other more common places skimp on). Seriously they have: Fruit salad Chicken/Tuna salad Build your own salad Fried polenta fries Fried Yuca fries Pao de queijo (cheese bread) Grilled cheese with honey Chicken lasagna Fried fish Corn Mushrooms Mashed potatoes Sautéed squash Sautéed green beans Roasted potatoes Feijoada (beans with meat) Brazilian Empanadas Rice & for dessert Flan (at the bar) or grilled pineapple with cinnamon that they bring around, and is an absolute MUST. We dined here for a second time yesterday, and loved it more than the first time, armed with lessons acquired on our first visit. All the meats were perfectly done (I like them rare), and the passadores (servers) were well trained to give people their preferred temp. All cuts were tender and well seasoned, and I love the chicken legs, sausage, and leg of lamb as my personal faves. Also, don't forget to get some of the roasted, skewered whole pineapple, kissed nicely with cinnamon. Service was outstanding (much better/more attentive than Fogo), at about 2/3 of the price ($35 here vs $53 at Fogo). Throw in a nice view of Lake Ray Hubbard, and this is our new go to Brazilian meat palace. To compliment the bounty of protein, there is a well stocked excellent quality fresh/salad and sides bar, with everything you need to complement the meatfest. We were accommodated well upon arrival the ambience here sets the tone to devour a great meal. if this is your first time at a Brazilian steakhouse then you're in for a treat you'll start off by sitting at your designated seat, then providing the server with your drink item, and you will be able to go to the buffet style bar for appetizers and salad. They have an array of different selections, such as meatballs, empanadas, chicken, lasagna, rice beans, and so much more. Everything was delectable and was seasoned well. For drinks, they have a selection of wine as well as lemonade and nonalcoholic beverages after the appetizers are squared away now it's time to wind up indulge in some of the finest meats. Walked in after seeing a video on TikTok! The restaurant was very cozy and the service was on point. I loved the view of the water. They had some great options at the salad bar, I especially loved the fresh veggies and cooked options. The salad was amazing as well as the sides. They had both rolls and cheese rolls available for you to grab from the bar. The meat was very flavorful, the steaks could've used a little more salt but the Parmesan chicken breast and the back wrapped chicken were absolutely amazing and full of flavor. Great new Brazilian steakhouse for the Bass Pro area! This area needed something nice as this. I enjoyed the selection of meats and the salad bar was well done. Went for dinner at 5pm and it was already packed. Had a reservation but took a while since large parties were coming in constant for their reservations. But after being seated, the servers were constantly walking by in case we needed anything and helpful. So many groups had kids that were just loud and there was even a group of men being obnoxiously loud, but luckily we were sat in a quiet area for 2. My only issue was the wine selection they offered, so I just drank beer. The reasonably priced wine choices were like $7-10 a glass, but most of those same wines sold for under $20 in stores, so not great quality. The better quality wine selections were only sold by the bottle and brands I've never had so I didn't want to buy a whole bottle of something I've never tried and be disappointed. I was wowed by the ambience, both contemporary and traditional. Too bad their service was horrible. It was my grandson's birthday, and I was really looking for this to be something special. But with an empty plate and a green card, the servers kept passing by our table and I had to keep addressing them to come over. This was very stressful and really took away from the whole experience. New churrascaria/ rodizio opened on 10/14/2024. They have another location in Irving that I have visited many times over the years, and I was excited to see one opening closer to home. I visited for lunch on a Monday a week after opening. Lunch is $24.95 and includes all you can eat portions of grilled meats and trips to the salad/ hot bar. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, and the rear dining room has stellar views of the lake. Service was very attentive, prompt, and welcoming. If you haven't been to a churrascaria before, they explain the process. The salad/ hot bar has a good selection of sides, breads, and salads. The feijoada was especially rich and delicious. Pan de queijo was fresh, crispy, and warm. The meat service was frequent and of excellent quality. The picanha was a standout and the Parmesan pork was very good. Though I didn't drink, I saw they had a large wine cellar and a full bar. There is always an inevitable comparison to Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil. I would say the biggest difference is in the salad bar. Vila Brazil has a more limited selection, but I certainly didn't feel I missed out. Vila Brazil's meat is as good as the other guys', and is a great value. Finally, don't missed out on the grilled pineapple. Coated in sugar and cinnamon it is an excellent end to a meal. read more

Amazing experience! The seasoning of the meats is incredible. The staff is so prompt. The owner personally checked on every table. But I figured if I went low more people might look at my review. The problem is this place is so good. But it could be so much better, so easily, that it's disappointing that they don't follow through to make it better. First for comparison purposes, I've only been there for lunch-twice. They have a great full rodizio special M-F from 11 to 3 for about $27. The food was great. But the problems as I see it are 1. The servers are bit slow at bringing the meats by. But possibly they have less staff at lunch. I don't know if they are quicker at dinner. 2. This is a major thing. The salad bar is good, but it's lacking in identification cards. And there's no one in the immediate vicinity to explain what some of the dishes are. I mean obviously I know what lettuce is, and there are a few cards on some of the dishes. But definitely not enough esp on the heated items. But also on some of the cold salad mixtures. Potato wedges were easy to figure out. But there were other items-such as mixed vegetables with sauces that I didn't want to get and then decide afterwards I didn't like. 3. Another salad bar peeve-I thought there would be more fresh fruit. 4. They use a whipped margarine as a substitute for butter for their rolls. You know the kind I mean It comes in small plastic 'tubs. ' It's the same type as you frequently get at low cost diners. The stuff is tasteless. And for a really nice place like this- I expect butter. It's ridiculous they use this cheap stuff. 5. Hopefully this isn't TMI. But I had just arrived, I went off to the necessary room. They dropped off my iced tea without leaving any sweetener. And there was no one around immediately to ask for it (the HORROR-iced tea without my Splenda). If they were to fix these points I'd give it a 4.5 easily!! read more

The staff at this establishment are amazing and very attentive to whatever you need. The salad bar was HUGE!! Had all kinds of hot and cold options from there. I will say the tuna pasta was definitely my favorite. The amount of meat and choices you get is phenomenal. I mean they come to you constantly, we did not wait for anything! The only thing I will say is the pork ribs were definitely way to dry and wasn't the best. I will say this place is definitely cheaper than other steakhouses I've been too I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.
