A hidden gem. This place has never once disappointed me or anyone I know. Everything is amazing & a very recent pleasant surprise was angle hair pasta with shrimp oregano on top. Seriously anything on the menu or a creation of ur own will not disappoint. The other very important factor is they are so fairly priced. Honestly they are less expensive than anywhere else that's doesn't even have the fresh & quality ingredients they have. Thank you to one of the last amazing places left in this world that DIDN'T use the COVID pandemic to jack up prices more than they had to while the other places continue with the upward spike in prices while still lowering the quality of food. Great pizza and an even better group of people. The staff are beyond friendly and that really does make the pizza taste even better than it already is. I just got a basic cheese pizza, but you never know what you'll get because I've had some pretty awful cheese pizzas. Not here. The cheese is perfect - not too stringy and it doesn't snap off when you take a bite. If there ever was a perfect cheese pull, they have it down to a science. The crust was great - not too crispy where you're breaking your teeth, but not too chewy where it just gets stuck in your teeth. Truly is the perfect crust. When I say the staff here is out of this world, I mean it. Giant stroller, one screaming infant and another rambunctious toddler, during the lunch rush. Recipe for disaster but not once did they make me feel unwelcome or that I was even causing a ruckus. Really did lighten the stress that I was already feeling, but what's easier than pizza for a quick lunch? All in all, don't hesitate. This is your pizza place. Nice family-style restaurant. Prices reasonable for the large portion you get. Got the veal scallopini milanese, which came with a salad and small bowl of spaghetti. The dish was decent, but definitely had more chicken liver than veal. Sauce was ok, on the salty side such, could not taste the sweetness of the onions through it. They're running a SCAM! Beware to NOT use the ATM. They purposely tell you they only accept cash this way you HAVE to use their fraudulent ATM machine that robs of you your hard earned money. They make you check your balance then charge you a fee on top of that! DISGUSTING! You cannot get your card back unless you check your balance. And not mention the normal ATM fee plus your bank fee for using a foreign ATM. All in all a slice of pizza is going to cost you $20. What a fcuking joke. Villa Milano has now become my work 'lunch time' pizzeria. Happily, I'm coming in the summer so the doors are always wide one and you walk in to very nice smiles and a hello from the two gentlemen in the front. Clearly, these guys are having a good time with their customers. Its just a fun place to walk into. There is a small seating area up front and plenty of dining space in the back. Just from the amount of people walking in and out, picking up their orders you can see this is a neighborhood favorite. My menu items have been limited to Pizza and Chicken Rolls. I must say that any of these items I have eaten have always been nothing less than exceptional. I like my Pizza a very specific way, thin crust, and sauce with lots of flavor. They have a wide variety of prepared pizzas but they will make anything you can think of. On another occasion I had the chicken roll. This was terrific... There was plenty of chicken intros delicious roll of pizza dough with a very tasty mozzarella cheese and a touch of sauce. I really need to come here fro dinner one evening. I just want to try the food everyone is raving about. I came here yesterday for dinner with my cousins and we had a great experience. Conveniently located in Manhasset with lots of street parking. What they dont tell you on yelp is the pizzeria side is cash only which was frustrating while the restaurant part accepts credit cards. However, they were really accommodating with setting up the tables for my large group and came to our table to assist our needs. They even gave the toddlers lollipops which was a nice touch. The food was fantastic especially the sausage pie! I would recommend but remember to bring cash. They should accept credit cards on both sides of the restaurant! read more

Those boys are the best! Their pies have a very distinctive flavor that absolutely cannot be found anywhere else. I always miss this place when I'm gone for too long. Most relaxed atmosphere of any pizza place in town. Very friendly service, the boys running the place make you feel like part of the family. They are most famous for their Sicilian slices but everything is amazing. My personal favorite is the mushroom slice, or a regular slice that cools down to just before the cheese congeals, pure magic. Update: the meatball pie has a special charm, and is my new go- to guilty pleasure . I've been been coming here for 30 years. More than just a pizza place, Villa is a fixture in the community. Right across from the park with the gazebo (Mary Jane Davies Green), this place has been a secret haunt of local celebrates looking to get their villa fix. I visited Villa Milano last night with my husband and another couple. They eat in this restaurant frequently and really like it. It was out third visit. I ordered grilled chicken with chopped tricolor salad on top , my husband the chicken special with asparagus . Both were delicious and plentiful. Our friends loved their meals as usual. The waitress put tasty, warm garlic bread on the table, pretty soon after we were seated. We then ordered our meals, then the service really slowed down as the noise level increased in the room. Villa Milano is an excellent Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Manhasset. The front is a take out pizzeria and the back is a Italian restaurant with a gorgeous Tiffany ceiling. No big deal, I'm in a dress, eating pizza with a beautiful stained glass ceiling. K and I had a lovely dinner there one weeknight. My favorites and must gets are the stuffed mushrooms and pesto gnocchi. We shared the following: Buffalo chicken pizza- this was unique and very flavorful. I liked the mild punch of the red hot and the juicy bits of chicken breast on the slice. Peperoni pizza- this was a classic and well done. Garlic rolls- beautifully done. Tons of garlic and butter and the rolls are hot! I love this bread! Zucchini pizza- This was so good! I loved the thin fresh crisp slices of zucchini on the hot cheesy slice. The feta cheese really brought the whole taste together. Seafood salad- this was good. The lemon vinaigrette was appetizing and there were scallops, calamari, shrimps and octopus. K really enjoyed this. Stuffed mushrooms- these were truly ugly delicious. They didn't look like much but they were tiny umami bombs! The mushrooms were stuffed with cheese, onions and ground beef. It was perfectly tender and not too watery. I wanted two plates of the stuffed mushrooms! Lobster ravioli- this was good. I wish the lobster was less ground up into the ravioli. I liked the little shrimps topping the ravioli. Veal Parmigiana- so good and cheesy. I loved the breaded cutlet and it was tender and juicy. Pesto gnocchi- this was amazing! The gnocchi was tender and chewy and the pesto had a buttery fresh basil garlicky taste. I was so stuffed and I could not stop eating it! I would def return for the gnocchi, stuffed mushrooms and veal parmigiana! Next time, I want to try this famous Sicilian slice and I'll try to save some room for dessert! read more

I just had to write a review as a thank you to an amazing restaurant. I asked them if they could do a luncheon after a funeral service. They provided a meal for about 20 people that was fit for a king. It started with a delicious salad, next a pasta dish and the main meal was a choice of veal, chicken, eggplant or fish. As if we weren't stuffed enough, they then provided us with the most delicious dessert platter and coffee. Of course they had heaping bread baskets and pitchers of soft drinks and water on the table. Wine was available as an extra. The total amount was so very reasonable and the food was so delicious. I also need to mention that the service was beyond perfect. The Spinach pizza takes away the guilt and is hearty. Buffalo Chicken can use a bit more spice but it is cheesy. Caesar Chicken Salad has Grilled Chicken. Overall, it can use a bit more flavor (garlic.lemom, parmesan) on the chicken and the Caser dressing to make it a mouthwatering dish. Same for the Penne Alla Vodka. Standard but not inviting. I'm in town for a wedding and my husband and I found this place close to our hotel. Its set up with some seating in the front and a counter for take out. Down some stairs is a more traditional restaurant set up. It was very busy and we didn't have a reservation but they let us sit at the seating in the front. It was a long wait to get service started but it was understandable because it was crazy busy and we weren't sitting in the restaurant area. The bread came out fresh from the oven. It was a combination of garlic knots and fresh baked white loaf. Both were delicious. The salad was light and nice. My lasagna was fresh and filling. My husband got Italian sausage added to the ziti al forno and he wouldn't shut up about how good it was...lol. Our server gave us a complimentary glass of wine because of the long wait and an older gentleman who was either the owner or manager came around to make sure we were taken care of. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was because they keep the front doors wide open so flies,gnats and mosquitoes were circling around while we were eating and they were agressive! This most likely wouldn't have been a problem had we been down the stairs or if it was earlier in the day. Anyone looking for some good Italian food at a reasonable price should definitely check this place out. read more
