Pizzas here are fantastic. Fresh ingredients. Well-paired ingredients. The crust is perfectly chewing and crispy. The pizza is the perfect size for me and my partner to split with some french fries. The fries are always perfectly warm, crispy, and salty. Service has always been quick. Waited around 15 minutes at dinner for a pizza. Beer selection is great if you're an IPA fan. I only drink sours, so having only one option is a little disappointing (but better than most places!), but I'm hoping there will be more in the future as they start rotating taps. No real complaints. Look forward to visiting again soon. Only hope it doesn't become too popular once students are back! read more

This place is really up and coming! They can get especially busy after a football game, but their prices are standard, pizza is cooked right in front of you, and their outdoor seating is nicely lit. I wouldn't recommend bringing a large crowd just because they aren't a large establishment but a group of four is pretty doable. They are right on the edge of campus and by the park, so be ready to walk from campus or park by the park. read more

I use to go to this place. Decent place for low price. But we had an awful experience on a busy night. We always sit while we are doing the line for buying, but this time the owner Aziz, in a very rude attitude, kick us out (husband and child included), because we were sitted before buying. We didn't know about his rule in busy days, and we use to go often times. Instead he was yellimg in front of my child, and demanding who was doing the line, also threating to call the police and refuse services. If he is offset or stressed out because of a crowded place, hire more people. We don't have to tolerate his temper, he could easily explain and let us know that in busy daya you cant sit before doing the line. Simply awful, and for a slice of cheap pizza.. Opened for business this year, Village P&P has plenty of room for improvement (that's the good news)! Both the pizza and the customer service pale compared to what's found at the sister establishment (Village Bakery) down the street. The veggie pizza was thin and runny, I'll leave it at that (considering how it left me a few hours later). Maybe the staff will learn to act more professionally as they gain experience. I come to this place often with my group of friends to drink and watch the soccer game. The pizzas and beers are good. However, I witnessed the most disgusting event that took place during a rush hour. I noticed an Asian girl being harassed by one of the cooks while she was doing her best. I felt extremely bad for this poor girl and asked her how she was while she hurried to serve food. She told me she was fine while fighting back tears. Have been twice already and while I want to love it, so far I only like it. Margarita pizza is the best. The Hawaiian is odd because the ham seems to be placed on almost at the end so it's basically not cooked. The pepperoni was OK. The dough and sauce are both excellent. I think they should be trying to do some more interesting flavors rather than the usual standards. Look to Boot & Shoe in Oakland for some topping ideas. They also do not offer any decent wine by the glass options. I guess this is probably due to being in a college town. But college students are most likely going to continue to go to blaze, it would be good to see the owners steer this more for the adults in town. This was my first time trying Village Pizza and Pints and it was my worst restaurant experience ever! I went in during a rush hour only to see the lovely waitress, Laura I think, be yelled at by one of the cooks. This was such an upsetting experience! There was a ton of customers and the waitress was doing her best to keep everything running. All the cook did to help the situation was yell disrespectfully at the waitress and make her cry. We must have gone in an off night. Pizza was not delivered to our table. Instead, our number was called and we had to go in to get it. It was lukewarm on top of it all. Not a great first impression and certainly not worth the 20% tip we gave them at the time we ordered. Great pizza, mediocre beer. I've been craving some Neapolitan style thin crust pizza. Good Neapolitan is very elusive east of the Bay Bridge. I was happy to find Pizza and Pints in Davis. We ordered one Margherita, one eggplant and one prosciutto. They were all fantastic. Village bakery really knows how to make dough evidently. If I just wanted pizza, this would be my go-to place in Davis. But man, if your actual name includes "Pints", then that implies that the beer is also going to be something notable. Not so here. They have a fairly extensive lineup, but all the choices are either IPAs or mass produced corporate beers. Unless you only want an IPA, there are no real craft beers on the menu here.
