I'd highly suggest this as a to-go place, there isn't really any space to sit inside (theres bar stools, but only a few and it was packed with boxes while we were there) and there were only 2 tables outside which couldn't have fit more than the 3 people we had in our group. I usually have to warm up the Pho broth, which is fine, as there was transport time. The to go container is a large bowl that I can actually eat out of. The same goes with the vermicelli. I was able to sneak away today for lunch at this spot. I was able to drive here, park, order, get my take away, drive back, all in 30 mins!!!!! Crazy! It's hard to spot the location just because it's exactly on the triangle section, but once you realize where it is, you'll never miss it. It's a tiny joint but the line moves quickly. It was of course a cold, cloudy, Seattle day; so of course I wanted pho. This place had really great reviews and I have to say they definitely did not disappoint. I give this place a four out of five stars. The reason for the 4 is because I wish they had a small shrimp spring roll option because two, which is the regular size, is just way too much if you order pho. However I really liked the shrimp spring rolls. They apparently are made with wild caught shrimp. They advertise all over the store that they are local and things like that. The line out the door would also not be great if it was a constant rain fall. So that's the other reason. But what I really liked was the steak pho! When you order takeaway PHO they do the broth separate from the noodles and toppings, that way the noodles don't get soggy. Basically you put the broth with the steak in the toppings you would like and it cooks/balances out the noodles and the flavors. I love putting the broth in right away and letting it go for about 3 to 5 minutes with the preferred toppings! This way it creates an amazing creation, called PHO yummy! But what I have to say my favorite part of the meal was, the adorable green tea macaron. I honestly wish I had order three of them because they were so delicious. On their menu, the chalk version, they list the different flavors and I definitely plan on trying the different flavors when I visit next time. Yes there will be a next time, and I can't wait. Unfortunately over last few weeks the quality of the service at the West Lake location has significantly decreased, to the point it is impacting the quality of the food. I can see the appeal of this place being a pho restaurant with beer on tap next to the stadium. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: futuristic cool service. Order on the app and pick up your food at the counter. Serves really good alcohol options. Cons: I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to pho and the broth was sweet in a sugary way. Not to my liking. I had to use two wedges of lime and that's not normal as pho broth should just be perfect. -portion was kinda small. -eating out of a paper bowl is weird and not very Eco friendly tbh even tho that's what the restaurant is trying to promote. I was pretty hesitant to try this place because I'm pretty picky when it comes. To Vietnamese food and the price here is a little ridiculous IMO. However, it was lunch, I was hungry, and I was in the area, so I decided to give it a try. The place is very small on the inside, maybe can fit 7-8 people at most, but there's outside seating as well, which is nice. It's counter service so you order and pay first before your food arrive. It can get busy here as the food is made fresh to order. I was lucky to beat the lunch crowd as there was a line outside the restaurant. I got the vermicelli bowl with chicken Togo and upon receiving it, my first thought was 'dang, this is heavy'. They packed a lot of food in my box, enough for probably two meals. Definitely did not skimp on any of the ingredients. Everything was also fresh and high quality. The chicken was very flavorful and cooked well. Great catering option--I personally love this place, so took a chance and ordered catering for work. It was all prepared for pick up, they helped me load my cart, prepared all the sauces individually on the side. I was so grateful it was smooth. Feeding hungry people is stressful if the order doesn't go right. I had the best experience. And everyone loved the food. Small menu with great flexibility in alterations/substitutions. I've grabbed this meal to-go on a couple of occasions. The dishes themselves are a bit pricy for the portions. Each time I have gone to the store to place my order they are frequently out of items. The in-store experience is also very easy - you essentially never have to interact with staff (can be a pro/con depending on your preference) as the first thing you'll see upon walking in is a kiosk to order for yourself. I've noticed that they are frequently out of menu items - and their third party delivery options do not always reflect the same "unavailable" option as the in-store kiosk.
