the food is good and good value for the price, however my most recent visit my total was 10.97 and i paid with $21.00 so i would get a $10 bill back, but the girl insisted i gave her $11!! i ended up just leaving because there was nothing i could do at that point and just considered it a loss, but i decided to call on my way home and asked that if they were $10 over at the end of the night could someone please call me and the response was "even if we are over it's not yours because you only paid $11!!" worst customer service in my opinion and i will never go back!! make sure they know what you are paying with before handing them your money!! read more

Pretty good food. Service is ok-Ish. This is a playground for kids though. Ppl let their kids run everywhere, scream, blocking the doors from ppl getting in and out carrying their food orders and act like they are at a jungle gym. Scratches the windows with forks. Throwing bouncy balls against the wall and almost into pols plates. I have been here a few times and this time was bad. I agree with the family atmosphere but it's the parents who need to control their kids. Isn't this what McDonald's is for? Horrible some parents are so rude. I still like the pizza here, although I have been finding some strong competition in the area, including Verree Express and Roman Delight over in Abington. The sauce at Vincent's is pretty salty so I usually end up guzzling water later. Verree is slightly sweeter in the sauce but both have good cheeses. I am so shocked at the customer service at this restaurant. Waitress never came to check on us the whole time we were eating our food. Ordered salmon, spaghetti sampler platter and our spaghetti arrived late. We waited for the waitress to come back so we can order some water, she came back when our food was almost finished. The menu doesn't state anything about tap water being $2. They place lemon in the water to try to make it taste better, however it's still nasty. I was shocked to see bottle water charge on my receipt. I didn't get bottle water I clearly got tap. I am stunned that this place charges for TAP water. We had a take out from here tonight and it was pleasant surprise!!! Every menu we selected( Calamari, Mussels, Lobster Ravioli, Shrimp scampi pasta) were so~~~delicious. Great food pleasant staff, just went for a takeout today and did not realize till i got home that they had missed a item on the order. When I attempted to call back (6 times) each time it was picked up and then hung up on. Just because your food is good does not mean you hang up when people call. When you call ahead for a Sicilian pizza and allow for the 20-25 minutes they said before pickup, should I be upset that one, they never made it and two, when they found the slip hanging, no one apologized or even said I'm sorry they are making it right now. The one star is for the cheese fries. I've always had problems with vincent's. The waitresses are rude, service is slow, the busser doesn't clean the tables (I have watched tables stay covered in dirty plates for the entire time I've been there), and there are flies. But this time has been my worst experience yet. Let me start off with the sweet tea that i ordered was slightly tan water with no flavor at all. Next our meal is delivered before our appetizer. The best part was when I found a black hair on my pizza (picture included). That's when i realized that none of cooks wear hair nets. In fact, no one here wears a hair net. The waitress brought my slice and garlic knots together, then brought the other orders about 10 minutes later... She also asked if we wanted refills on our EMPTY glasses when she brought the slice, we didn't get our drinks until we were done eating our food. The place had a total of 5 patrons ( 3 at our table ). At the time they had 2 waitresses working, 1 lady working the cash register and 3 or 4 cooks. My other complaint is when ordering over the phone for pickup. I have ordered at all times, late/early, lunch/dinner and have given them plenty of time to finish the order 20-30 mins before I show up and still end up waiting 20 minutes for my order. I have even tried paying by CC with hopes they would make the order before I showed up... Someone needs to teach them some urgency and they would get 4-5 stars. Overall, horrible service. Stopped in on a Friday night before 6. We ordered three cheese steaks and after waiting 40 minutes we ended up walking out. A couple that came in about 15 minutes after us order a few slices and cheese steaks and received their order with 10-15 minutes. At about the 30 minute mark, I tried to ask the waitress about our order and before I could get "excuse me," out of my mouth, she spit out "yea...it's on the way" as she walked by. I'm very impressed with the ingredients - all fresh: The mushrooms were real (not out of a can), the sausage tasted like it should and not like a frozen kibble that you get from most pizza places, the bacon was great, onions were fresh-cut; was great to see this. Bad food is one thing; but bad food plus expensive is obscene. On a scale of one to ten, the stromboli we ordered gets a three if it's lucky (it was by far the worst stromboli we've ever had - you would assume an Italian restaurant knows how to make a good stromboli - NOOOOOO !). The only thing it had going for it was it was large. As soon as the waitress put it on the table, I knew something was wrong. The crust was a sad grey brown color and hard as a rock; also was burnt underneath. The cheese was rubbery. The steak and veggies were okay, but other than that the flavor was bland and trying to chew the burnt, over-baked crust was a real tooth breaker experience. My poor judgment: some years ago, I got a bad cheesesteak there and never went back. Today, we visited Acker's Hardware, my son was hungry and we were right there, so we decided to give Vincent's a chance. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again !!!! For the cost of $25 for the lousy stromboli, sodas watery with too much ice, and a tip for poor service - we could have had delicious full course meals at Four Seasons Diner, from soup to nuts. Best pizza in the area, IMO. Very consistent through the years. Plenty of cheese even on the regular (non-xtra-cheese) pies, good sauce, good quantity on the toppings. We pretty much always get pizza here, so I can't comment too much on the other offerings except for hoagies and steaks, which are also very good. Nice dining area that is often packed with locals for dinner; a sure sign of a good restaurant! Parking can be a pain in the strip mall, and the traffic on Huntingdon Pike sometimes deters our visits, but it is worth the trip! read more
