I used to go to Vincent's for lunch sometimes when I worked in Elkins Park or with friends from high school because I went to school up the street. Went to dinner with the family and we all enjoyed our food. The pizza was fresh and delicious, and the fries were hot and crispy. My 6 year old inhaled the mac and cheese bites and wanted more. My husband and I split the buffalo shrimp quesadilla, which was tasty and filling. My only complaint is the lack of friendliness from the waitress. Service is pathetic. We waited over half hour for our pizza with not a single acknowledgment from the waitperson. When I expressed displeasure I was told it is "on the way". Others that arrived after us got their food at least 10 minutes before. We were 4 and they left silverware for only 3. They never checked on us, nor refilled our drinks. LOVE Vincent's Pizza, as does my whole family. They definitely have the best pizza in the area. But they're not just a pizza joint. They have a large dine-in area, which has recently been re-modeled. My kids and I eat there regularly. They have amazing sauce, and believe me when I say I'm a "connoisseur"! My kids think I'm gross because I'll continue to eat my sauce with a spoon even when my pasta is finished! lol The staff is friendly, but frequently very business, as the dining area usually fills up during peak times...but, as I always tell my children, patience is a virtue. So if you're in a rush and need to be in and out in five minutes, Vincent's may not be for you. I am extremely picky when it comes to good quality pizza and am always on the look out for quality Italian pie's. Since I was a kid, I grew up with my best friends' family who are from Calabria. Their mom and grandma (spoke no English) would spoil us with the very beat home made Italian food I've ever had. She used to make multiple pizzas every Saturday...and placed a huge emphasis on the dough. Any true Italian always uses good bread and good dough for their food. With that being said, Vincent's is the best Pizza you can find outside of south Philly or center city. Very good dough and good use of cheese and sauce. My husband and I decided to have dinner at Vincent's on Friday night. We have eaten there before and enjoyed it. Not sure what was going on but they were clearly understaffed. The floors were dirty with spilled spaghetti and used tissues. The waitresses seemed to be overwhelmed and untrained. We had to ask for ketchup and the check three times. The family seated next to us had food delivered then had to wait for utensils...with hungry children waiting anxiously. Dirty dishes were piled up on the front table awaiting removal. We have enjoyed Vincent's in the past but clearly they were over worked, understaffed and disorganized. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The restaurant is short on space and obviously popular one but we did not enjoy time there and would think twice about going back. read more

I prefer the takeout because the dining room is typically packed and it's tough for the waitresses to keep up with everything going on. The food is very good and cheap! However, no matter what time or day you go, the service will always be slow. It's usually 45 min wait for food no matter what you get to eat. Only reviewing the pizza. You get a coupon with every large pie you buy and get a free pie after collecting 15. I've tried the plain, margarita and Sicilian, all have been perfect. Only complaint is some wait staff is not very attentive. For example if someone is at the door struggling to open it (door is heavy) as they carry out 2 large pizzas and a waitress a few feet away, it would be greatly appreciated if someone could kindly hold the door as you exit. read more

The reviews for Vincent's pizza were pretty good. I'm thinking I caught them on a bad night. My salad look sort of nice but it was slightly waterlog from just being washed. I ordered two slices of pizza cheese and one with sausage and mushrooms. The mushroom still Had dirt on them you could not see it but you could fill it in my mouth ias I chewed it . The order took around 22 minutes. I heard the server ask for it twice. The sausage they use is some kind of crumbled pre-cook sausage out of a box. I was hoping for some kind of cooked sausage they did themselves. I figured I found a new place to grab a slice of pizza since I was in the area with my wife who is getting her hair done. We have been customers of Vincent's for over 15 years. Sad to say, carryout service has gotten a bit sloppy and declined. Two carryout orders ago, the rolls were a bit stale, but we have been pleased before, so we didn't complain. The next one, we did not get onions and the extra cheese as requested on a cheesesteak. Still didn't complain. Tonight, four things wrong. Missing sauce and requested basil on a personal calzone. Did you ever eat a dry calzone without sauce? Missing sweet peppers and oil on the mixed cheese hoagie, which really ruined the taste. I finally called to complain. I was told that they were out of basil, but someone should have told me or asked me for a substitution when I picked up the order. I was offered a $2.00 credit IF I drove up to get it and I had to use it within 2 weeks. Pretty chintzy for a ruined meal, I think. We are older and live a bit far to drive back to Rockledge, and it is dark, cold, and there is too much traffic during rush hour. And, since we don't go to Vincent's that often, the 2 weeks is no good. I did ask to have a gift card or credit mailed to us, but they wouldn't do it. Even a $5.00 gift card mailed to our house would show good faith. But, no. They are busy, so losing a customer obviously isn't worth it to them. We won't be going back, but if you do, ask to see your carryout order before paying for it. read more

This place is great if you're not sober. Seriously. The food is really poor quality and when eaten normally, it makes you honestly feel sad. Also, the wait for your food and check is absolutely horrendous. For example, if I order just fries, the waitress will bring it out to me about 15 minutes later. Asking for the check is an entire process. You have to flag your waitress down, she will tell you that she will be right with you, she forgets, you flag her down again, and your check arrives 20 minutes later. Then when you put your payment out, she will forget to grab it. So, you give up and go to the counter to pay. The reason I give it 2 stars and not 1 is because the food is truly great when your not sober. You forget about how bad the service is and how depressing the pizza fries that you are shoving down really are. I am not the only one that shares this opinion. Just walk in on a Friday night and groups of drunk teenagers will tell you likewise. Drink responsibly! read more

1st and last time I go to this place... yesterday around lunch time I walked in and ordered a slice, the counter girl told the cook/manager who was on the phone.... Another guy (must have been a regular, they knew his name) came in a few minutes after I did and ordered 2 slices. 5 minutes later 2 slices come up, and the regular is on his way. The counter girl looks back at the cook wondering where my slice was, I see him put it in the oven and 5 minutes later I get my slice....no apology, no nothing.
