The calamari is tasteless, the red sauce tastes like tin, the Alfredo sauce tastes like the butter was left uncovered in the fridge for a month. The pizza is average, has that same metal taste. I've tried many dishes here because everyone talked about how great "Vincent's" was, Well... to my surprise everyone was talking about a different Vincent's. I wrote my initial review a couple years ago, and I'd had some bad experiences with some old servers. Thanks to a caring response I received from the owner, I decided to keep going back and trust in the business. Though, for some reason I find myself more often then not going to Angelina's, I still love Vincent's. They have a large variety of specialty pies available and I've enjoyed their selection of salads, pastas, and sandwiches. Good sicilian thin crust cheese pizza, the best.

They have a good variety of pizzas to choose from. When I first came here I wanted to try everything! But I don't eat meat haha but there is a great selection of none meat toppings. They have an amazing ricotta cheese and eggplant pizza. And the garlic knots are very unique. My cousin had thus pepperoni garlic knot with mozzarella cheese I believe. It is his usual now he grabs one all the time. Oh and the sicilian pizza is very tasty and well seasoned. They have a pasta pizza where basically a whole pasta dish is on top of the pizza. It's a lot to take in but it is quite yummy. They also have a Caesar salad pizza which seems interesting. All in all it is a great place and very casual, the service very welcoming. For me if I am going to a pizza place and want to go back they better make darn good pizza. read more

I went with my wife to Vincents for lunch using a local flavor certificate. We were seated quickly in what is a very average looking but clean pizza shop. It appears great care is taken in the preparation of the food that they serve.We ordered 2 lunches and a zucchini stick appetizer.The zucchini sticks were excellent and appeared to be homemade.I got a pata fazul soup with my lunch which was really excellent and among the better pasta fazul soups I have ever eaten. We then ordered a eggplant parm dish and baked ziti Siciliano. Both were very good to excellent in taste and the ricotta cheese in my baked ziti was excellent. Service by our waitress Amanda was excellent and responsive.The price to value ratio is above average for this type of restaurant.This was a surprisingly good lunch at a excellent "red sauce" restaurant and I look forward to returning in the near future. read more

The seating is very crowded. Small tables , no large booths . Parking is metered parking on the street and parking lot in rear. Service was pretty good. The food was good. Pizza was good . Fried Calamari was excellent ! The only think that was horrible and felt like throwing up was the baked clams . I had one and couldn't eat the rest. I mentioned it to tell the waiter , but he didn't care too much and didn't offer me anything else or adjust my check. The manager was very friendly and acknowledged his guests . Love this place! I usually get the same thing here because its so yum! Tortellini Alfredo- always yummy and on point. The ravioli is really good as well. Try the raspberry lemonade- it's perfect! For desert we had creme brûlée which was good we also had the brownie sundae which was just okay- I probably wouldn't get it again. Service was perfect. read more

This is a nice little place: clean, quiet, pretty friendly although curt and the food is very good. They have pizza to take out or seating to eat in. We sat down one afternoon for a light lunch of a small salad with grilled chicken and the mozzarella and tomato appetizer. Both tasted very good. The caesar dressing is really good. The service was just okay. Our waitress seemed a little impatient. It was our first time eating there and she wanted our order before we even read the menu. We asked for a minute to look it over, but she was back in 10 seconds, hence our hasty order didn't make it past the appetizer section. I was pretty hungry and might have ordered an entree if I'd had the time to read what they had. It is the staff who make me give this place 3 stars. The same waitress, after serving our food, sat at one of the long tables behind us loudly eating her own lunch, which isn't really professional to do in front of customers. While munching on her food, she was having a loud conversation (with another employee?) that we were forced to overhear. Then she started snapping at the bus boy about him not cleaning right, which no diner really wants to hear, and they got into a back and forth in front of the customers. Good service is as important as tasty food! It seems like a lot of the small family places on Long Island have forgotten this. read more

Used to be reliable and dependable place for Pizza, last 4 times we got pizza it was delivered cold. It's funny...I happened to checking out another restaurant on YELP and out of curiousity wanted to see what other people said about Vincent's which I visit regularly. The preponderance of reviews confirm that this landmark restaurant has great food, portions and prices. Even the waitress who was probably fired agreed - the food is great! This is a family run place and family friendly. It is the type of place where you'll bring your kids and they will bring theirs. It can be hectic on weekend nights with short waits for tables (usually complimentary wine soothes your spirtit) and noisy (It's like "Cheers" where everybody feels like family and there is often cross table chatter)......it is a testament to the restaurants popularity. Boy do I love their pizza. Everything with pizza is Deeelicious! I like their lunch special.. went here recently for dinner however, and for the first time, EVER, I've been totally disappointed. I would not recommend baked clams or the appetizer with the clams, mozzarella sticks and zucchini.. everything tasted yucky and super oily. I ordered penne a la vodka and it reminded me of MAC AND CHEESE. It smelled like mac and cheese.. and it tasted like mac and cheese. What the hell? (My fiance concurred.) I felt bad sendinig the food back and making a big deal.. but that is the last time I'm having dinner there. And if I do, I'll stick to what they are great at.. and that's PIZZA. read more

My daughter's Sweet 16 was last night and we had the event catered by Vincent's. The owner, Joe, suggested that we serve the food family style instead of having a buffet. Vincent's is great Italian fare at an affordable price point. Their pizza is great, especially specialty slices such as their Ziti and Buffalo chicken slices. Very large portions, no crazy prices. Their sit down restaurant section can be a bit crowded, but again the food is great with large portions and affordable. $15 for a well made and large portioned chicken Milanese with a side of pasta is almost unheard of these days on Long Island, but Vincent's delivers. Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the somewhat lacking service (takes a while for your food or check sometimes, or a mistake on an order), and the parking lot being a hassle (street parking is available on Atlantic but it's almost never open). read more

Gross and way over priced. Pizza sucks because it is flavorless. You charge way too much for the quality of your food. I have NEVER had a decent dining experience here. Vincents is our home away from home. The staff is amazing and we always feel very welcome. Love the seafood salad, always very fresh and delicious. The fried calamari is excellent and made to my annoying specifications ( yes, I like my FC very crispy, don't judge)! The medium sauce is spicy and thick. My husband LOVES the chicken campagnola.
