I usually go to sal vinos but i decided to give thiw place a shot so I stopped here for a quick slice of pizza and garlic knots for lunch one day....and I should've just stayed where I usually go!! I walked in and every time I tried to order I was IGNORED and people who walked in after me were getting helped first. After a guy finally said she's before me they helped me and was rushed. I asked for a cup of balsamic vinegar for my Crustina slice and was ignored again!!! They've lost my business for sure. read more

Love this neighborhood pizzeria! The regular slices are great, but the daily specials are better for a sit-down dinner. They make the best broccoli cheddar soup (and everyone swears by the clam chowder but I don't eat seafood). Once in a while they have a special appetizer- not sure what it's called but it's fried balls of angel hair pasta. Really good and different. The owner, Joe, is really sweet and friendly. I'll usually stop in to Vincent's at least once a month to treat myself and the kids and we have never been disappointed. The pizza is consistently excellent and fresh. We've never encountered a soggy slice or rock hard garlic knots. There's plenty of seating and the atmosphere is fantastic after being outside all afternoon in the winter. We've haven't tried the dinner dishes yet but, I'm sure they're as good as the pizza. read more

Typical NY Pizza and Italian.Either stand and have a slice or sit down and get waited on and have a meal.Waitress was excellent as was the food and a glass of wine.A great meal that does not take all night as I had my meal in about 45 minutes which is about as long as I can sit.I was not rushed however.Perfect if your trying to catch a flick across the street.I will go back. read more

We have been eating at Vincent's for over 8 years now. The food is consistently good and very fresh and arrives steaming hot from the kitchen. My fav is the shrimp fra diavalo and my husband loves the rigatoni ala vodka. The staff is very attentive and our fav waitress is Nancy, who always has a happy smile and makes sure you get your food the way you like it:). When our friends from Florida come to NY to visit they always ask for Vincent's cause they can't get the delicious marinara sauce down in Florida. My all time favorite local pizzeria. They have a great, friendly staff willing to help you as soon as you walk in. The selection is never ending and they always have fresh pizzas being made. They make a garlic knot with pepperoni and fresh mozzarella cheese thats TO DIE FOR. If you are trying to be healthy this is not the place to be. I absolutely love this place! The pizza is fantastic. More of a selection of specialty slices your not going to find anywhere. I always find the slices loaded with toppings mandating a knife and fork use. The wait staff is friendly and accomodating during the evening dinner rush even though the place can be a mad house. I guess that comes with the territory when you put out an excellent product. Dinner portions are very generous. Doggie bags are the norm. I personally enjoy their Cold antipasto salad, To-die-for NE clam chowder and their can't be beat veal dishes. I don't know what they do in the kitchen to the veal but it is the tenderest I've ever had. Vincent's is a must dine experience that will not put you in the poor house. read more

This place has been here forever! I'm not sure if it's the same owner but it's pretty good! I've been coming here for about twenty years and all their pizza and a lot of their food is too notch....I've eaten almost everything they serve but I mainly stick with their pizza and pasta dishes. Their Marsala and Francese sauce is good but sometimes the quality of their chicken isn't great (it could be tough or veiny which is why I tend to stick with the non chicken dishes that have always been great). I'm pretty picky with my pizza but this place have never disappointed me with their pizza. They have the best Sicilian and speciality slices. They also have a lot of variety when it comes to slices. The parking can be tricky during the busy hours as there's no parking lot. You can eat there but it's small and loud so I usually uses it as my go to Italian take out place. Their sauce is great....not to acidic or sweet which is why I often order their baked ziti. Anyway if your in the area it's worth a try! I was there last night at around 6:15pm and you could hardly get in the door so it seems like the neighborhood people agree with me! read more

The counter man is quite rude. You don't feel like business is appreciated at all in this location. I was told I couldn't use my debit/credit card for a purchase less than $5. When I looked around there was no indication or notice stating that was indeed the case. After advising the counterman that there was no notice stating what he just said, I asked to speak with the manager. He said he was not here today and then I asked for his name, and he was very reluctant to tell me. I walked out of there feeling like I would never come back. After spreading the word around in a matter of an hour, plenty of my associates found this to be a shared experience. If the owner doesn't know what kind of service his employees are giving then I feel bad for them because people like that will cause this place to lose business. I will not be coming back. By far my favorite casual Italian restaurant! The food is so delicious and the staff is super friendly. I've eaten here for years and have never had a bad meal. The ravioli is homemade and so good! The veal parmigiana is always cooked just right, as is the fried calamari! My husband gets the tripe over spaghetti and he loves it! The seafood is cooked to perfection as well. The bread is fresh and nice and hot and they make the BEST New England clam chowder I've EVER had! I kid you not. I've eaten it in other places and I'm telling you, they have the best. Try the house red wine with your meal and the Tartufo for desert! I've brought friends here and now they are regular customers too. Their prices are super reasonable. You really can't go wrong eating at Vincent's in Lynbrook! There is parking in the back, which makes coming here even more convenient. You will not leave hungry! The best word to describe Vincent's is"home". When you walk in you feel like you're home. The owners give you a warm welcome, the wait staff is friendly & efficient & the food is excellent. What more could you ask for from a restaurant. The specials are always delicious & plentiful. You get soup, salad & pasta with any of the daily specials. They serve wine & beer and also serve the best cappuccino I've ever tasted. If you need or want a dish cooked a certain way, they will do it without hesitation. As for one of the review, stating the guys behind the counter being rude & not speaking English....they do speak English, as I've spoken to them many times when I go in & they've never been rude to me. If you're going during the "lunch rush" things are hectic but I've gone in during the dinner rush many times & have never had that experience. You might want to take the time one night to go in for dinner. I've been there for both lunch & dinner & it's a whole different atmosphere. As I said in the beginning of the review, it's like home & being amongst family. I don't order pizza very often but when I do, it's always been good & the slices are generous. I prefer to sit & have a nice dinner. The veal is so tender, their Chilean Sea Bass is out of this world & if you're lucky enough to be there on a night that they have either the pork or veal chop specials you'll think you're at one of those high priced steak houses.
