Would Sabrina Carpenter sing for a slice at "Vincenzo's" instead of "Espresso"? (apologies for Miss Carpenter's use of profanity) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVli-tstM5E "Now he's thinkin' pizza every night, oh Am I hungry? I guess so Your stomach squeals, baby, I know Come on down to Vincenzo's Call them up quick, order up, oh Need a shot of mozzarell-o Your stomach squeals, baby, I know Come on down to Vincenzo's" This neighborhood pizzeria has reinvented itself. Vincenzo's has expanded by taking over the store next door and not only doubled their square footage space, but raised the ceiling up and knocked down the intervening wall for a more open dining room. It is amazing compared to that small pizzeria from just last year. This is their 50th anniversary year, so the expansion is well justified. What has not changed is their food quality, which has always been good. Also being down the street from St. John's University helps keep them in business. The display cases have a whole range of specialty pizzas if you're looking for a quick slice, from regular sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom to buffalo chicken and penne alla vodka. You have a choice of Neapolitan, Sicilian style or a nice Grandma. There are also stuffed sausage, spinach & chicken rolls, but if you want a whole custom pie, they will make one up fresh for you with whatever toppings you would like. We came in recently to grab a few slices for lunch and my BIL ended up ordering a couple of kitchen entrees to share, as well. The Chicken Parmigiana is great with lots of gooey melted mozzarella and comes with a side of pasta marinara. We also had the Linguini with White Clam Sauce with both chopped clams and clams in shell, that was really tasty. I like that the sauce is a little creamy and not runny and would definitely get it again because it's one of my favorites. So whether you're working late cuz you're a singer or you're that one boy that won't stop calling and all your give-a-*flux* are on vacation, don't worry because Vincenzo's is open until 10:30pm to feed your pizza cravings. I don't think they have an Espresso machine though.

Amazing pizza! The pinwheels are great, too! It's hard to find good pizza these days, but this was great! It is so pretty and comfy inside. We were in and out quick. I would highly recommend!

Go to spot at my school and food is yum! Their pizzas are amazing, $2.75 per normal slice and $4.95 for specialty topping slices. Their bbq chicken was good and liked my friend, the mushroom pizza was amazing and I loved it. The dining area is also very spacious, new, and fresh. Bathroom inside as well. Service was slow when it came to ordering but fast with the food arrival. Overall a great place!

I come here often on my lunch break since it is walking distance from my job. All the staff are so friendly and sweet here. It is a typical pizzeria inside. The pizza here is delicious. I like to order a baked ziti slice. I tried a buffalo chicken slice which also was really good. This pizzeria has a variety of slices you can choose from. I definitely recommend this pizzeria.

Solid local pizza spot! We usually get a large pie with half/half pepperoni and sausage, or with just one of the meats. Prices are super reasonable - a large pie with full toppings & one order of garlic knots comes out to around $22. Pickup & delivery are both fast. Pizza here is a bit on the chewier/doughier side but still satisfies all cravings.

Great service. Very good pizza. My favorite place to get baked ziti at the moment. It's molten hot, the pasta feels right, not too watery, and the portion size is great.

Amazing, hot pizza and great service! I would definitely order from here again. The pizza was hot and fresh. And super yummy. I was hungry and ordered two pizzas from here and they were delivered very quickly. I would definitely get their cheese pizza again and maybe try some of their toppings.

Love their pizza. They were able to make half and half of our favorite flavors! Kudos to them. Loved their customer service to call me back when pizza is ready to be picked up. Much appreciated!

The restaurant was…read morepacked when we arrived on a Friday night, but thankfully did not have to wait as we didn't need a booth. We ordered a large pie with pepperoni and a calzone with sausage. Both items came out together like we asked and was far too much food for two. My first bite of the pizza was hot, crunchy, and delicious. I love fresh oven pizzas with a crispy bottom crust. The chefs did an amazing job cooking it just right. I also loved the fresh mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. It really elevated the pizza to another level. The crust was great all around with a slight oven char. Lastly the calzone took me by surprise as it had no sauce and was filled with ricotta cheese as opposed to mozzarella. It came with a small cup of hot marinara sauce for dipping/pouring. It was definitely an interesting calzone but don't think it was worth the price. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and Nick's and would highly recommend it. I do wish the pricing was a bit more fair when it came to full vs half pie toppings as well as the calzone.

My friend has a newborn and we were trying to find restaurants in the area that would be stroller-friendly (which actually isn't an easy task, to my surprise) and finally landed on Nick's because we had gone there together when it reopened. And it always seems very family and kid-friendly. We definitely went to the right place. I'm not a parent and I've never pushed a stroller without some bumps here and there, and I was so worried about helping get the stroller through the 2 doors. One of his staff saw us from the inside and immediately came out to help as soon as we reached for the door. Nick's paternal instincts definitely came into full effect because he looked out for us and wanted to give us the best seats so that we can have the stroller beside us. The pizza is excellent and I absolutely would come here over again and again, but the warm service from Nick himself and his staff is what truly makes this place so special in the community for so long. I didn't get a chance to come here during those formative years before the fire but when the restaurant finally reopened last year, it was incredibly sad to hear Nick explain how the fire and rebuilding devastated him and the business for over 2 years.

Now that I'm up in the Catskills, it happens even less- unless we're all traveling together. Gino's came recommended by one of my sisters as a spot for a light dinner before heading to her place and it didn't disappoint. Step into Gino's and you'll know immediately this isn't your average pizza joint. Look up and you'll see those tin ceiling tiles. Not the shiny kind- but a deep, opaque black that gives Gino's a cool, almost moody vibe. Total drama. The black runs along the borders too and it puts everything together in this low-key but in-your-face way. Just a nice space that feels sharp. One of my sisters ordered the pepperoni square, my twin sis ordered the Gino's Salad with artichokes add-on and I had a similar salad with grilled shrimp. My sis liked her square- though I will say, it looked kinda thick. Our salads were incredible though. Sit-down service was great too and our server made all the difference. The guys behind the counter were a riot too. This was a nice spot for our lite bites and a great walking distance from where my sister lives.
