I've been a loyal customer since the restaurant was next door to Handy Andy's. While I didn't experience any issues with customer service today, the quality and pricing of their pizza is horrible. The only things I believe they've kept in place from the original owners are the dough and sauce recipes. Other than that, this is not the Vintage Pizza that used to be. Today, I ordered 2 24 cut pizzas; 1 with extra pepperoni and extra cheese, the other half pepperoni and half cheese. I also ordered 40 boneless wings; 20 whoopie, and 20 hot. In the pictures I provided, you'll note a stark contrast between the pizza I received from Vintage in 2021 and today, 2023. I saw a previous review where a customer stated they use halal meats, and while I don't know if that's factual, I noticed a huge difference in the pepperoni. The pepperoni previously used was flavorful and crisped up nicely. The pepperoni I received on my pizza today was mostly rubbery in texture and bland in taste. There was extra cheese on the one pizza, as ordered. That, along with the dough, tasted okay. The boneless wing sauce left a lot to be desired. In the past, their hot sauce used to be hot, and their whoopie sauce used to be very hot. But now their hot sauce isn't spicy at all and tastes weird. Their whoopie sauce had some spice. But it's nothing to rave about. Especially when it's supposed to be a level up from hot sauce. Lastly, the new pricing is a big sticking point. I understand that supply costs have increased. But do the increased supply costs justify the nearly $15 increase of their Family Special #1 meal deal? And as you'll see in their ordering app, they also charge the full-toppings price when you order half-toppings. All in all, I'm pretty disappointed in the way this place has gone downhill. The quality of food you get for the price you pay is horrible. If left to choose between Vintage and a national chain like Domino's, I'm going with Domino's. read more

I see that, recently, some people have had some issues with this restaurant but I have never experienced any of that. Great quality food, good service, and my orders have always been done quickly. I hope those were isolated incidents that other people have experienced. Vintage Pizza used to be one of my faves. My friends mom back in HS always ordered their 24 cuts for all of us and the extra cheesy square cuts bring me nostalgia. I am usually pleased with a 24 cut cheese from here, but something changed. I feel like they skimped out a little on the cheese last time, laid down more sauce, it just didn't even taste the same. I don't usually love overloaded pizza, but when I want it cheesy and melty, this is the spot. I am not sure if it was just an off night, but I am willing to say it was. Vintage Pizza usually have the cheesiest pizza, and its a great deal in a 24 cut. The wings last weekend were super good, ordered extra crispy, they survived transport and stayed delicious. This place is worth a try, and normally a 4-star choice for me, but I will save that for an updated review where my cheesy desires are met with their standard pie. read more

Pizza was ok, not great but ok. The issue was the wings. I paid almost $16 for 10 wings that were supposed to be hot. The wings had no sauce on them, they were overcooked and burnt. The celery sticks, carrots sticks, and blue cheese weren't in a bag or anything, just thrown in the container with the wings. We ordered pizza and wings for 15 people. The wings smelled burned when taking them out of the packaging. They were so overdone and dry, they weren't edible. Our 24 cut pizza had the wrong toppings on half of it. The quality of the pizza is definitely nothing like the previous owners. I called to report this right away hoping they could make it right but the phone was busy for more than a half hour. I spoke to the manager after and told him about our experience. Let me start by saying vintage pizza was one of my go to's previously. Since taken over by new owners it has changed significantly. Pizza was dry and bland. Definitely not enough sauce. The boneless wings are all breading and do not taste good. Ordered a 24 cut cheese pizza, cut pepperoni and 40 boneless wings for a get together I was having. Can't tell you how disappointed I was with this food. Definitely will not be ordering from here again. I decided to give it another try when the last time I ordered it wasn't really good either. Pretty standard pizza, but on-time and always courteous with a mind on customer satisfaction. We really enjoy their wings over other local options. They are willing to cook the pizza/wings the way you want them, ie crispy, well-done etc. If you are looking for a solid and consistent delivery option in Latham this is a good place to meet you general family pizza night needs. read more

I work for a local company that provides Vintage a lot of business and have been ordering from them for almost 10 years. Today I was absolutely disgusted with Vintage's customer service. They opened at 11 and I had 5 lunch orders to place for delivery. I called at 10:45 and placed my order with a gentleman on the phone and received my total. I was told 45 minute wait which seemed reasonable since we had 5 orders and Fridays are busy for pizza places. After waiting for over an hour I called to check the status of our food and spoke with Lisa. I confirmed my cellphone number and total and was told they were running a little behind but it would be there in a little bit, their driver was leaving soon. I agreed and hung up. Now waiting 2 hours for food and no phone call or news I called again and spoke with Lisa and was told that the driver had already delivered our food to someone else at the company. Another customer had called back to pay with credit card and our food was delivered to them. She offered to call me back after confirming with her driver what had happened. Lisa called me back and when I told her I had not received my order, was paying cash and was still waiting she talked over me and was argumentative but finally agreed to remake our food. 39 minutes later our food was delivered. I tried to talk to Lisa and show her my phone with both the text and phone calls I received because she said that her driver had tried to call me several times and text on the first delivery attempt when our food was given to someone else. She was very rude and said she had a text image from her driver showing that he had called or texted me. When she pulled up the image it was so blurry you could not even see the telephone number to confirm it was me they were texting or calling. At no point did she apologize for the mix up, delivering our food to someone else with out payment or offer any consolation. Even if she hadn't apologized but had been polite I would've felt a little bit better as a customer. This whole experience is appalling and I can no longer offer them business. I'm sure my other coworkers will be letting people know by word of mouth what a terrible experience this was as well. read more

I like vintage pizza. They have a seafood pizza which is pretty hard to find around here. My main complaint is that the dough is terrible. It's old, at least 12 hours beyond acceptable rising, over proofed. Anyone who has worked in the pizza business can recognize that. The pizza crusts are albino white. This is the new, relocated Vintage Pizza. I had to wait 10 minutes for slices, which they didn't have openly displayed but do sell. The fortunate part was I got it fresh out of the oven, which I thought would mean it would taste fresh. Not really the case. Vintage's pizza is bad. It's dough is thin, and extremely chewy. The cheese's flavor is salty, and it's as chewy as the dough. The crust is about the width of a pencil. It's not going to be your favorite pizza by a long shot, not at this new location. The taste is of the pizza is lame, the texture is lame, the service and seating inside Vintage is lame. It's relatively cheap, kids might like it, but there's better choices down the road. read more

Ya know - something - and i can't figure out what - is different about the pizza from when it was made around the corner on Route 155..that said, the dough hasn't changed - delicious taste thats not too think or thin. Love the fast service (pick up in 10 minutes) such that it becomes the spot to pop in to when you're in Latham in the go with errands. Good wings. Decent size for the price. Ordered a mix of garlic with medium buffalo sauce. The quality blue cheese dressing that came the wings was better than most places having decent size chunks of blue cheese. Had them twice now and they have been good both times. Also ordered their beef cheesesteak, it was just ok. Very skimpy with the meat and the last 2 inches on both ends of the sandwich were just bread. If I could give zero stars I would but purely on customer service. When I first walked in the girl who was at the counter was very short, rude and disrespectful. First of all her tone of voice made it sound like we were an inconvenience to her. We had ordered from this restaurant many times. In December 2020 we ordered again. Saturday night so we knew it'd take a while. No big deal. It took 2 hours and when it got here everything was burned and ice cold. I called 4 times before the girl answering actually stayed on the line long enough to hear me before dropping the phone. I explained (very calmly) about the poor quality of food. Never mentioned the wait (it was expected). She snorted that they're busy and that's why it took so long. Again I explained that I had no concern about how long it took but that the quality of the food was far worse than lacking. She again dropped the phone and after a few minutes the owner picked up. He was ruder than anyone I'd ever spoken to and denied that anything could be unacceptable about the food he sent us. Offered me $5 off my next order (our order was over $60). What a big disappointment as my take out pizza looked nothing like the one pictured on their Facebook page. This was their New Little Italy Pie. I paid extra ($21.11) for the 12 cut rectangular. It was so light on the toppings, the crust was super thin and pizza was dry and tasteless. I could barely taste the toppings. Did I say this was a disappointment. The best part was when I simply asked for a bit of hot pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese to take home, I was asked to pay extra for condiments ( maybe a .10 - .15 cent cost to them). I was given a hard time and was told that they were a small business and that if I wanted (extras) they could not afford to just give them out. They had to compete with other local business and had to charge customers for asking for Parmesan and hot pepper (really). If I was to eat-in at their restaurant I could have used provided cheese and pepper to my hearts content but that was not the case as it was take-out. I ended up being insulted by the rude obnoxious pizza maker (which immediately made matters worse) while simply trying to get the phone number of the owner to convey my experience with him. I have frequented this business on numerous occasion and after this episode have decided never to patronize them again. I feel bad as the owner is a very nice guy (whom I've met ) and his daughter and the employees are not representing his hard built business by treating customers with respect. I ordered a pizza from a menu we had received in mail and saved. The menu could not have been too old because it had coupons that do not expire until 10/31/17. The pizza selected was from the list of specialty pizzas, eggplant parm which is described as having eggplant, ricotta cheese, marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. The pizza we received was just OK, but there was no sign of ricotta cheese on it. The menu listed this pizza with a cost of $15.85. When I was told the cost was $17.08. When I questioned the price, I was told, "Oh, you have an old menu. I'll send you a new one with your pizza." It seemed odd that a menu with active coupons was already out-of-date, but I wasn't going to argue over $1.23. But, when I received the "new" menu it was the same menu I ordered from, with the price listed as $15.85. I called back to complain they just maintained that $17.08 was the price. So instead of making it right, they lost a customer over $1.23. read more
