    Chilaquiles with carne asada
    Heidi S.

This place is like Murrieta's little hidden gem! Tucked in the corner of the Sierra Vista Plaza off of Los Alamos. Walking in it felt so welcoming and inviting, the staff in the front ready to greet you. We arrived early just before the crowd. The place is more on the small side with plenty of seating but it does get crowded quickly. There is so much to choose from, the menu offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch. We ordered the French Toast, the Chilaquiles with Carne Asada, Pancake Combo and Menudo. The food was delicious and plates are well portioned, enough to share. The coffee was delicious and our server made sure our drinks were always filled, he definitely got my five stars but I forgot to get his name. (I took the picture of the pancakes just before he refilled my cup) That gives me a reason to go back again and get his name! If you're in Murrieta and looking for a place to go with a variety of options for the family to choose from, this is your place.

    Cinnamon Revolution French Toast

Placed an order this morning for breakfast to go, ordered their cinnamon revolution French toast. As pictured on their website it looks like regular French toast. What I received looks pretty disappointing. A single piece of French toast with half of a cinnamon roll that I didn't order/wasn't listed as what I was ordering. For $12, you tell me if this was worth it. The rest of the food we ordered was ok- not bad but nothing to make me return- biscuits and gravy, meatlovers burrito, and strawberries and cream crepes.

MODERN & WELL-LIT! This insta-worthy diner has great decor and even better egg-based food. I absolutely loved my country skillet with bacon, green peppers, ham, and more. It's a skillet unlike most with excellent flavor and execution. I wish I could say about the biscuits and gravy (too generic, weird aftertaste). Overall, the food is GREAT and I will be returning to go another round with their skillet menu. Service was meh, I think the waitress could've been a little more attentive and there wasn't a greeting at the door. The kitchen staff were excellent, huge thanks to them for their hard work and dedication. I saw people working the counter and kitchen at a breakneck speed. Bravo! The diner looks smaller on the outside, but it feels very spacious and sizable on the inside. I felt like I had plenty of room to move around. The atmosphere was quite happy and the cafe has an excellent use of natural light.

Conveniently located right off the 215 FWY off Los Alamos Rd exit in the 'Sierra Vista Plaza' shopping center near Stater Bros with plenty of parking. For breakfast, I had their 'Mixed Berry Crepes' which consists of 2 Crepes filled with sweet cream cheese, topped with fresh berries, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. I upgraded to a combo by adding 2 eggs and 2 bacon. Everything tasted amazing, with that VIP authentic taste I've come to expect. The restaurant is spacious and organized with counter seating available. There's also a few tables outside. This diner offers so many options from All-day breakfast, burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, pasta, and dinner plates. My only minor note is that the service was a little slow here, I had to request a coffee refill. Overall, it's a great spot to get a good and satisfying meal.

How nice. We got there at 7am just as they opened and were greeted very warmly. We ordered the Thursday special and a border omelet. Bothered were yummy and bigger than we could eat. 100% a place to go. (And they have huge iced teas) Yay!

Red hominy soup being passed as pozole
    Memory L.

One star for good service. Pricey, for food that is below mediocre. $17.95 for a medium sized bowl of pozole with half of lime, some cabbage, radishes & chops on the side. Lacking in flavor, and should have been named hominy soup. Chili verde wet burrito, with sour cream & salsa (extra charge) was also pricey & bland. Tortilla on burrito was hard. (Old). Meatloaf plate left a lot to be desired! Weird flavor. Would I go back? If there was no other choice, MAYBE. Please do better.

Brought the boys for breakfast before going back to school. We were seated right away but it was busy. Carlos was our server and was so kind and easy going with ordering with my boys. Much appreciated! I had the California omelette and it was huge. You get 2 sides and I got hash browns and a biscuit with gravy to take home for another day. One son had the breakfast burrito and it is huge! He loved it! The other ordered off the kids menu and it was more than enough food! Really great place for breakfast. Our first time here and we will be back!

Red Chilaquiles with sunny side eggs (sorry I broke the yolks before I remembered to take a pic). So good!

I love coming here for any meal of the day! There food is tasty and comforting! The quality of food and service is consistently great. I especially love their mexican meals. The chilaquiles are delicious!

Everything was on point! Comfortable environment, huge menu done very well, and impeccable staff. Leo was my server and I can't say enough nice things about him. He was genuine, personable, and went above and beyond with service. Will be back :)

This restaurant is really great. They have a diner style menu yet a cool vibe inside. The food was amazing I had the chicken Alfredo pasta and it was delicious. The bread the pasta came with was one of the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back for some breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend this place

But that's not even the best part - we are gluten free (celiac) and our waitress, Yesi, was absolutely PHENOMENAL. We even decided that we had such a great time we needed to bring our kids back today. I did not think the food or experience could get any better. It did. My husband had an amazing Gf burger (so messy and delicious- due to his add ons cooked by Aaron). I had Amazing GF salmon (moist and delicious) Our kids had amazing food as well. They asked if we can make this our "go-to" family spot. The ambiance was honestly second to none. We had a great view of the duck pond and I truly have never felt so peaceful eating anywhere else.

We arrived early on a Friday evening, and thankfully it wasn't crowded. Since they don't take reservations, getting there early is definitely the way to go. We ordered the Dealer's Choice, which was refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented. We also tried one of their stronger signature cocktails, and they definitely don't hold back -- there's a reason they limit those drinks to two per person! Both drinks were creative and well-crafted. The bartenders clearly know their craft, and the drink presentation was outstanding. Service was good, although not especially memorable, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. One thing that would make the experience even more immersive would be if the entire staff wore cowboy attire to match the Old West theme. With the speakeasy setting and vintage decor, it would add a fun touch and make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, Twain Speakeasy offers excellent cocktails, good music, and a unique atmosphere. I would definitely come back again, and my recommendation is to arrive early since reservations aren't available and I can see this place filling up quickly on busy nights.

Applebee's regulars be prepared for a new experience that might shock you if you can take the leap. The lovely plated dishes coming out of that kitchen were top-notch architectural masterpieces. I will have to return soon, but I'm vegetarian so I might have some limitation, but we'll see. Maybe they'll whip something up? The interior is trying to be real hip and it sort of works in a positive way but a little bit of that modern gauche. You know, kind of like Z gallery meets mid-century with a slight Lichtenstein tribute with a cartoonish flavour. It does work though, and carries to the exterior or the exterior carries to the interior? With the limitations of a strip mall it's a little bit hard to put lipstick on a pig. But they've executed it well and it's inviting and a departure from the norm. I'm excited to get there soon.

On Saturday we wandered into TCI for dinner and started with the heirloom tomato and burrata with crostini. It was so fresh and delicious that I briefly considered writing the tomatoes a thank-you note. Next came the Harvest Valley Salad, which somehow managed to make me genuinely excited about lettuce--an achievement that deserves recognition from the culinary Olympics. For our entrée we ordered the Wagyu Steak Frites with chimichurri. The steak was cooked so perfectly it should probably be framed instead of sliced. Every bite was fantastic. We finished with the ube panna cotta, which was elegant, silky, and the kind of dessert that makes you promise you'll "just have one bite" before accidentally eating half of it. Nathan took wonderful care of us all evening. He was warm, friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance between making us feel welcome and giving us time to enjoy the gorgeous patio. Watching the sunset with live music in the background and that spectacular view? It was one of those evenings that quietly reminds you why people go out to eat in the first place. Apparently we enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the very just two days for lunch. (Scientific research requires repeat testing.) We started with the hummus, which arrived looking like it belonged in an art gallery. Fortunately, it tasted every bit as good as it looked. Then came the chile relleno, which was absolutely outstanding. If this dish ever goes missing, I'd recommend checking my refrigerator first. Faith was wonderfully friendly and outgoing, and our food expeditor, David, was so genuinely warm and personable that by the time he left the table, it felt like we'd known him for years. Restaurants can teach hospitality, but that kind of kindness is simply who some people are. My only tiny suggestion: please turn on the patio misters during these triple-digit California afternoons. The food was keeping us warm emotionally; the weather was handling the rest. And on the way out we let Christine know the carpets at the entrances needed a vacuum. Fantastic food, exceptional service, beautiful views, and an atmosphere that keeps drawing us back. Cork Fire Kitchen has once again reminded us why it's one of our favorite places to dine. We stopped for dinner and the did not appear busy. There was plenty of free parking available in the shopping center and indoor/outdoor seating. It was very windy and too cold to eat outside, so we opted to eat inside. There were only four tables to choose from and one bathroom. This became an issue when someone was already using the bathroom, probably blowing it up since it had already been five plus minutes, and both of my kids had to go (we ended up going to Trader Joe's to use the bathroom). The food finally came out. We ordered 2 tri-tip plates, a chicken sandwich, a kids quesadilla w/rice, and 4 drinks. I was concerned about the tri-tip after reading many others complaining about it being overcooked. This was not an issue. The meat came out cooked perfectly, but the pieces were small. The mashed potatoes were good and buttery. The mac & cheese was good and had a nice flavor. The Brussel sprouts were undercooked, hard, and bland. The bread had soaked up the blood from the tri-tip and was soggy gross. The kids quesadilla was literally 2 store bought tortillas and some sprinkled cheddar cheese that wasn't even melted in between. I didn't care for it, but I'm glad my son ate it. Overall, I had high expectations for this place and it was lacking.
