This place is so good! The food is delicious and really enjoyed the flavor of the shrimp linguine pasta. The artichoke appetizer is delicious. Highly recommend it. We also ordered tiramisu and it was excellent. The server was kind and provided great customer service. The host at the front however gave attitude when we asked for a both instead and she gave us a face when we got the booth after. She definitely needs customer service training with her attitude. Ok fine, not a big deal. We ordered: cheesy garlic bread, husband got veal parm and I got a caprese salad and a glass of wine. The garlic bread was soggy, veal parm had an appalling amount of cheese and sauce and wet thin breading, was also served not-hot, and the caprese had 3 thin slices of underripe heirloom tomato topped with thin mozz sliced and a weird house salad. Husband requested pasta as a side to his veal parm instead of a baked potato and staff obliged. The pasta was also luke-warm. I would not return because the food was not good and the total came to $70 after tip. However I would again like to stress that service was impeccable. It could be we just came at a bad time (6PM on a Friday) but the food was unforgivably subpar. read more

This is a nice quiet restaurant my family attended on Monday after Mother's Day, the best time for us all to get together. I was worried after realizing they closed at 8:00pm and we had a reservation for ten people at 7:00pm, but they welcomed us with open arms and didn't rush us even though we went a little past closing. The lighting is low but I'm sure that's for ambiance. The tables are decorated with a white table cloth and painted ceramic light fixtures above most tables. They have a deal on Monday's where wine bottles are half off, but we aren't big wine drinkers so we did not partake. We did start off with some drinks. I had my usual a bloody Mary made with Grey Goose which was tasty, my wife had a strawberry martini which also was good. Everyone enjoyed their plates and all the food was delicious. I had the Pollo Marsala which was cooked perfectly with plenty of mushrooms and a side of mashed potatoes and vegetables. I would have liked more potatoes, but I'll ask for that next time! Three people in my group got the Ciopino and loved it. We also ordered some bruschetta and calamari which were also delightful. Our waiter was very nice and made sure the water glasses and soft drinks stayed full the entire dinner. The pricing was what you would expect to pay for a nice Italian restaurant without having to drive all the way down to North Park or Downtown and fight and/or pay for parking. The worst Italian since I've moved to California. I chose to order delivery on 11/24/2021 because I was packing and moving and had no dishes to cook or eat with. I was craving pasta and decided to give this place a shot. Very disappointing. I ordered the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. There was so much onion it was overwhelming. I love onion but not only was this over the top, the onions were so poorly prepared it made the dish inedible. It was like whoever prepared this dish needed to hurry up and chop more onion. Not only was it huge chunks of onion (not diced or prepared with care) but the onion was not cooked very well and still VERY crunchy. You could not taste ANYTHING except onion. On top of that, the "Italian bacon" they tout was very fatty and undercooked. I should have known not to order from a place that calls it Italian bacon. Also, I ordered the garlic bread with marinara sauce. Whatever they gave me was NOT marinara sauce. It was more like someone opened a can of tomato sauce and poured it into a cup. On top of all of that, I was not given any utensils or napkins. Not helpful when I ordered because I had no dishes to use. I would not have tried to eat this food if I had options that night. There is quite an expansive menu of pastas, main entrees and appetizers. There are 3-4 different raviolis that are all very nice. The short rib one is my favorite. For main dishes you can't go wrong with Pollo Picata. For those craving a pizza there are a number of those on the menu as well (although I haven't tried one yet). This was a very quiet family oriented restaurant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when I walked in the door. I had reservations so that was good. I was on a strict diet that day so I did not order pasta but it smelled amazing from the table behind me. I will be returning when this diet ends. The server shared the specials, I asked about the soup which was white beans. I ordered the Spinaci Insalate it was FRESH, and light. Definitely what I needed. There were options for salmon, chicken, shrimp, or tuna. I did not add anything it was good how it was, I am sure adding a protein would have only made it MORE AMAZING!! We have been coming to Vittorios for many years and ordered regularly during the pandemic because we wanted to support them, and help keep them open. It's not just a restaurant, it's a place for family, friends and neighbors to gather and enjoy each other's company. The staff has been there for many years, a sign of a good establishment. The food has always been delicious and their specials are good for the palate and the pocketbook. I recently had a large party at my home and was considering various catering options. I decided on the crowd favorite of Italian food, and on my favorite of Vittorios. The food arrived on time, warm and the young man who delivered was so helpful in carrying it all in, and setting it up. My only regret was not ordering more lasagna and the chicken dishes, the guests went through them so quickly. Everyone raved about the food. The presentation and the quality were A-1. I don't know why I even bothered contemplating other catering options. Victor and the staff are always welcoming, friendly, very efficient and professional. It feels like we have our own "Cheers" in the neighborhood. You can't beat date night on Tuesdays! We've even attended Wine Dinners and had a great time. I highly recommend Vittorios for their food, friendly staff, high level of customer service, and ambience. They have a history of being there for those of us that like having a connection with a restaurant that goes beyond sitting down for a good meal. We got the garlic bread and it was such an incredible price and was SOOO yummy, and then also got the Vittorio's salad. We ordered 1 meal to share and they automatically split it for us without even having to ask, and the service was so sweet & prompt. We got the short rib pappardelle and WOW! I was expecting decent. And it was decent enough but the price could have been cheaper (or should I say inexpensive). The bubbly Prosecco was a light, crisp choice that I enjoyed. The lentil soup that my companion ordered was good enough. So was the side Vittorio salad. The chunky blue cheese was not pungent or strong - perfect! My ravioli with black mussels was ok. Could have had a more distinctive taste - which it did not. It was a singular dish, a bit lacking depth. One thing that my husband and I found extremely odd was the ice tea that was served to him had a "smelly sock" odor .
