The food is where this place truly shines. Every pasta dish tastes fresh, rich, and made with intention--perfectly cooked noodles paired with flavorful, well-balanced sauces. A special touch that doesn't go unnoticed: the complimentary garlic bread. Served warm, buttery, and perfectly crisp on the outside. Overall, this restaurant proves that you don't need a large space to deliver an exceptional dining experience. The bruschetta chicken was juicy and flavorful. The pasta with it was light and delicious. The chicken parm was quite good, but the bolognese sauce was the star of the meal. This was one of our favorite meat sauces we've had in quite a while. We finished the meal with a complimentary budino that our server brought to us as first time guests. The butterscotch flavor was light and creamy, so good! It was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Service was very good, our primary server was on top of things and the other people helped him out as well. Manager checked on us too. The restaurant is fairly small and was pretty full. From the outside, it's very unassuming but inside was nice and felt cozy.

My husband made a reservation online in advance while at the park so that we wouldn't have to wait too long to be seated and eat. When we got there we were greeted by a friendly host. She said that our table wasn't ready so we had about a 10 minute wait. The waiting area has a few seats and is decorated with lots of photos on the walls. In the dinning area the decor continues with tables and booths for seating. Upon being seated we waited for our waitress for a few minutes. When she arrived she was friendly. She gave us menus and took our drink order. After a few minutes she returned with our waters and explained how the portion sizes work. We placed our order and waited. The food came out slowly and in stages but we enjoyed sitting down in air conditioning after walking at the park all day. For our food we started with the Garlic Bread which was very flavorful. We also got an Apple Gorgonzola Salad which comes with apples, walnuts, cranberries, and gorgonzola. It was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the combined flavors were so good. For our meal we got Stuffed Shells which comes with sausage and spinach stuffed in a shell and cheese with Alfredo and Marinara sauce. The pasta shells were huge and full of ingredients. It was very filling. We also shared a Pepperoni Pizza which came with a lot of pepperoni, mozzarella and provolone cheese. It was a good size pizza. The dough wasn't very thick and the crust was good. It was a good pizza with a lot of yummy pepperoni. Overall Buca di Beppo was a nice place to end our day at the park. It is pretty cool because all the servers are singers and you will get to enjoy a show. A live piano player and live music. This was a good time. The staff are super kind. We ordered calamari. They were regular. Nothing to brag about. And I ordered the lasagna which was very divine. It was cheesy. Plentiful. Perfectly seasoned. The food is TOO GOOD. I did not see a designated parking lot (just street) but there was plenty of street parking available with no meters on Sunday. The dining experience is cool as it has that old world charm to it with the checkered table cloths in classic Italian style. As for the food, it was just mediocre. We started off with the antipasto salad and that is a total waste of money for what you get (16.95). It was on the smaller side and was not a traditional antipasto salad. It had the salami and cheese on the bottom of the plate (in whole slices) along with some regular lettuce on top with two green onions and some green olives on the side and some red onions (at 1st I thought that our server brought us the wrong salad). As for our entrees, I ordered the spinach lasagna and it was ok. The portion size was small but since lasagna is generally heavy I was able to finish it. BFF ordered the baked mostaccioli with Italian sausage added to it and his was a bigger portion. We had two soft drinks and some water with our meal and the total came to 110.00 incl tip. Ouch! Our server was friendly but not overly and the service was good. I really wanted to like this establishment but the food did not impress me at all. Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen in LA and I rarely make it to this area; therefore, I highly doubt I will be back.

From my first call to restaurateur Eric to make a reservation earlier in the week, the experience was as warm and personable as can be. Within minutes of our arrival, we were greeted by co-restaurateur Antonio, and we instantly felt like family at the beautiful, private table they had thoughtfully reserved for us by the window. Our wonderful server, Jessica, made the night even brighter. We started with some Peach Puree Bellini Prosecco that was crisp, refreshing, and beyond amazing. The food arrived with impressive speed, but the quality was truly second to none. My wife absolutely loved the special of the night--a Tiger Shrimp and Asparagus Linguini--and my Angus Beef Bolognese with savory short rib ragu was easily the best I've ever had. Antonio and Jessica checked on us frequently, chatting about the day and the amazing history of the restaurant. This was NOT just a night out at a "restaurant." This was quite literally getting together with family and having the time of our lives. Prosecco Trattoria is not "just another place to eat"--it is now our favorite home away from home for artfully prepared food and drinks. To Eric, Antonio, and Jessica: thank you for welcoming us into your family for such a special milestone!

The hubby wanted to eat out Italian for a cozy Sunday, holiday evening. And have never ventured here in Toluca Lake; and what an elegant, delight! Jessica was our server. She made our experience delectable, truly! Noticed every detail, and with warm humor. She recommended my husband read the desert menu aloud, for the romance of it all. And it works and that's true! Hehe I ordered the 4-cheese Ravioli in tomatoe sauce, and it's unlike any I've EVER had. It's about 5 inches in diameter, round+ mostly flat, and not too salty. Absolutely delicious! Jessica offered to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, the service! Unmatched. The Italian seasoning added to the tomatoe sauce, makes it sweeter, aromatic. If you're familiar with my reviews, I'm always searching for vegetarian options. For desert we had the Panna Cotta with wild berries. Excellent, yummy! And we kept it cozy, with mint hot tea. Which is always a go-to around the Xmas holidays. The decor is northern Italian elegance: hand painted art, crystal chandeliers, and white linens abound. Reminds me of when we hiked the hills of Tuscany. With the holiday touch of twinkle lights and fresh winter floral bouquets. It seems most locals frequent here: Are known by name, and had the front door held open for them if elderly. What sweet, kindness and local vibes. We'll be back, to try perhaps the chicken the hubby says. :) Thank you all for an exceptional, romantic Sunday night dinner with my Hubby, during the holidays.

The trattoria had low lighting and looked like a romantic little Italian villa with Sinatra music lilting in the background. It felt much more a date night place than a business dinner. First, the wine list by the glass had excellent, very interesting and offbeat selections. The bottle selection was really superb. Then, as a starter, we shared a white bean and lobster appetizer. It tasted absolutely amazing ... and a dish that neither of us had tried before. Our very seasoned and polite waiter told us we would enjoy it. Next, he had the lobster ravioli, and I had the salmon. Both were really cooked to perfection and wowed us. Lastly, for dessert, we split this most amazing pistachio gelato that came cut into slices with finely chopped pistachios sprinkled on top and a most delish type of pistachio paste?? inside. First and foremost, a huge shoutout to our server, Seth, and the entire team. The service was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Waters were never empty, drinks arrived promptly, and every dish was perfectly timed and coursed throughout the evening. The level of attention to detail elevated an already incredible meal into a truly memorable experience. As for the food, I genuinely don't know where to begin. This might be one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles -- and honestly, it has a strong case for being the best. Every single dish that came out was executed beautifully. We started with the caviar service, which was an easy win from the start. The chips were impossibly light, airy, and perfectly salted, while the onion crème fraîche added an incredible richness that tied everything together beautifully. Next came the milk buns, which were soft, fluffy, and completely addictive. The whipped butter served alongside them was silky, rich, and absolutely perfect. The tiger prawn tostada completely surprised me in the best possible way. It delivered layers of flavor with subtle heat that never overpowered the dish. The prawns were cooked flawlessly, and every bite felt balanced and intentional. Then came the croquettes, which may have officially ruined all other croquettes for me. They were perfectly crisp on the outside while the interior simply melted in your mouth. The accompanying sauce was beautifully balanced and made an already fantastic dish even better. For mains, we ordered the Dungeness crab pasta, which was light, fresh, and elegant. It wasn't trying to be overly complicated, and that was exactly what made it so good. It was a reminder that simplicity, when executed well, can be extraordinary. The pork belly risotto was another standout. The risotto itself was cooked perfectly, and the pork belly somehow managed to be both crispy and melt-in-your-mouth tender at the same time. Every component on the plate worked together flawlessly. We also ordered the corn and roasted potatoes as sides, and somehow even those managed to steal the spotlight. The corn was an absolute flavor bomb, and the roasted potatoes were equally unforgettable. And then came the star of the evening: the tomahawk. Without question, it was the best tomahawk steak I've ever had. The accompanying chili sauce wasn't aggressively spicy like a traditional salsa might be; instead, it was incredibly balanced and complemented the richness of the steak perfectly. Every bite was absolute perfection. By the end of the meal, we were completely stuffed, but after a dinner this good there was no chance we were skipping dessert. We ordered the French toast dessert, which was delicious with its tangy strawberry syrup and beautifully executed flavors. My only critique would be that I wish it had been served warmer and in a slightly larger portion, because I truly think that would have taken it to an entirely different level. Overall, I left absolutely blown away. The chef, the kitchen team, and the front-of-house staff delivered one of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time. It was the perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday, and this is without a doubt a place we'll be returning to again and again.

Everything was delicious--the croquettes, the crushed potatoes, the branzino, the lobster tagliatelle, 10/10. The octopus dish was absolutely insane, though. That was an explosion of different flavors that were so unexpected, inventive, and unique. The musicians that night (stand-up bass, and piano) were playing jazz covers of a lot of familiar older songs. They were so talented, and fun to watch! Another lovely night with Verse. Thanks again!
