This place is always a hit and you can't go wrong with anything here. Ordering is kinda confusing but I think it's just me. If you love spicy, ask for their spicy sauce but too bad it's $1 for a little container. They give out free radishes on the side. Haven't tried any of the other sides but I'm sure they are as delicious as well. I got the lunch portion 4 pieces which were a decent size.

I love Vons. I am so happy there was one that wasn't too far from me. Everything is as expected, taste just like the other locations I have visited. I am glad they are keeping it consistent. Staff was kind, service was quick. There is a little self service area for water and utensils. A couple of places to sit and eat and the plaza it is in has plenty of parking available. Same place where Cattlemen's is.

ons Korean BBQ Chicken is a solid choice when you're craving something savory with a hint of sweetness and heat. The chicken is usually well-cooked--crispy on the outside while staying juicy inside--which is exactly what you want from Korean-style fried or roasted chicken.

I stopped by here on the way home yesterday. I live an hour away and when I got to the party I attended, it was still so good! Everybody enjoyed it. I appreciate the daikon it comes with because it balances out the flavors. I ordered the Vons special oven baked chicken, honey butter fried chicken, and crispy padak fried chicken. All were so good. Next time, I will order extra honey butter fried chicken! The service was great. The woman working in the front was sweet and helping others who were there to order. Would be back next time I'm in the area.

The location is a little small, around 4-6 tables. When I came here it was pretty backed up. I think it's all made to order, so it'll take a while, be prepared for that. Had 2 combo orders, both Honey Butter chicken and with fries. It took 25 mins to get my order. Minus the long wait, the food was solid. I liked the fries, but loved the chicken! First time trying this establishment and it hit the spot! I was craving Korean fried chicken for lunch and this restaurant was nearby my work and it was open just in time for lunch. The service was good. I placed a togo order on the food and the food was ready when I arrived. The inside of the restaurant was clean and organized. The ambiance was really nice inside. Felt cozy and simple. The food was great. I ordered the boneless chicken with french fries and white rice. The food was hot and seasoned nicely. The chicken had a good blend of spicy and sweetness to it. The french fries were super crispy. The order also came with a pickle radish I believe. It complimented the dish quite nicely and really bought it all together. Overall I give this restaurant a solid 4/5 star review. Will definitely be back for the chicken and also order other menu items. They have a nice assortment of items to choose from.

First time going to Vons. I visited their Livermore location on a Saturday afternoon. The store was small, but it wasn't busy. I think there was only one or two people running the restaurant. I ordered the combo which was about $14 with the Kimchi fried rice as a side. I was content with my meal. The food is cooked to order, so the chicken came out hot. Overall, it was good. The wait was about 10 minutes, so it was reasonable. I'd come back again. Plenty of parking outside. Gloved and napkins are available.

Vons is a staple in Guam and was glad to try it here. All the orders are setup to go it seems (maybe you can ask for reusable plates) I got a combo with kimbop but added rice as rice is life. Quick service. Yummy food

I've been really wanting to try Von's korean fried chicken since I saw it on yelp. At a first glance, the shop is neat and looked like those that we see on kdramas so I was kinda bit excited to try. The can only accommodate a couple of customers for dine in and they also do online orders and to-go orders in case you're a home buddy. I was having a hard time choosing between Option A (kfc with 5 grain powder) or Option B (soy glazed) since I never knew what original korean fried chicken tasted. She explained that soy glazed is their best seller and considered original korean flavor so we gave it a try. Order came in quick and I'm telling you.... they did not come to play when they say KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN!!!! It was the best chicken wings/drums I've had. It was crispy, large portions and light on the glaze. It's not like Bonchon where it's too coated, too much batter and flavor's only outside. Von's chicken was lightly battered but coated with good amount of sauce. The flavor was through-and-through not only on th outside. The orders came in with pickled radish which was so good to balance out the flavor. You can choose the spice level you want. It's worth trying! read more

Out of all the Korean Fried Chicken places I have tried in Los Angeles and the Bay Area, this place seems to get the closest to the ones I've tried in Korea. Wish the prices were the same as Korea prices, but the prices are average for korean fried chicken in the US. Have tried almost all the flavors now, original is the best! read more

Just tried this place for the first time since it opened. I must say that I'm impressed! The fried chicken is so light, crispy compared to the Dublin location. Location is in a small plaza next to Starbucks so plenty of parking. Online ordering was a breeze and my order took about 20mins. I will definitely be ordering again soon! read more

Best Korean chicken! Their chicken is made fresh so you know you're getting hot, crispy, and delicious chicken. It's also not that oily! Our fav flavors are the garlic and honey. We usually call ahead since it does take a little bit if you order there. Have been here a couple times now and never disappoints. Our go to spot for fried chicken these days. read more

I ordered the chicken cheese buldak. I'm sweating over my head so damn hot and spicy not indicated in their menu. Honestly it's good and tasty but I can't eat it. Service is nice. Bathroom is so clean and the area is super clean. I will come back to try other menu. read more

Finally, some good Korean wings in the Central Valley! I've been here total 4 times now, and their chicken is always smaaaack. I usually get the crispy fried chicken (soy garlic) flavor and honey butter chicken (it smells like a dessert bakery). Service is always great too, no rudies. Can't think of a reason NOT to support this place. read more

The chicken was was excellent in taste and cooked well. I had the lunch special which allows you to have some options. The sweet potato fries were awesome too. This is definitely a MUST RETURN. You can dine in or outside. Good food and you don't fine many chicken specialty restaurants. read more

Got some spicy rice cakes yesterday, ordered through yelp. Today I went to go eat it and after eating almost half the box I found this hair mid way through. The hair is straight and black. I grew up in South Korea until I became an adult. So I pride myself on being a fan of chicken. First of all, this house seems to use good materials. And the service is very good. For example, if you want more sauce or radish, ask for more and they'll give it to you for free or 25 cents. Other brand chicken places around the area charge about $2 or $3 more. The chicken condition is also very good with fresh oil. You will think that it is a choice you will never regret. I use this house even though it is far away. :) read more

My favorite Korean Fried Chicken spot! The BEST! The Vons Chicken in Concord is closer to us so we tried once, but despite the same name, it is NOT the same! The Vons Chicken from Concord was over cooked, super dry, and barely edible! So we now make the drive to Livermore to order what Korean Fried Chicken should be, and this place never disappoints! Amazing delicious food, and great service! I recently tried the Korean chicken and it was seriously impressive. The Yangnyum sauce is the star rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced between sweet and savory without being overwhelming It coats the chicken beautifully and keeps every bite exciting. The crispy fried soy glaze chicken was outstanding incredibly crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You can tell it's fried fresh because it stays crisp even after sitting for a bit. Everything tasted clean and well-prepared, and the service was amazing friendly, quick, and very attentive. They made the whole experience comfortable and welcoming. Terrible service. Very long wait time; while others in line behind us, received their food before us. Chicken was so small and tasteless, and not at all worth the $16 price tag for 3 child sized drumsticks. We will not be going back here. read more

I bit to it and each piece had some air space in the middle. Almost like the ball was formed and not a whole piece of chicken. The sauce was very uneven, some pieces didnt even have the sauce on it. Overall I will not be going here anymore. With how expensive everything is lately, my meal was not worth it for the price unfortunately.

She went back out the door and brought some of our togo containers back in and even one of the customer from that outside table helped her bring the other containers in as well.
