It's been a long time since I've been able to have dinner with close friends. Voodoo Crab was awesome! Safety first, Voodoo's got you covered. The weather was nice so we sat outside. The staff were very nice, prompt, accommodating and did a fantastic job. The appetizers were hot and tasty. The drinks were very unique and delicious. We all had the boil, and I highly recommend it. I went with the Voodoo Experience sauce in the fire mode. It was not intense but the perfect heat and spice level for my tastes. I can't wait to go back. Went there last night and while the staff was very friendly, the food was short of mediocre , at best. Our stuffed clams were literally all Panko breadcrumb and extremely dry, my boyfriends "capri sun" tasted like pinesol, and our boils came out luke warm and the food tasted like the plastic they boiled it in. We paid upwards of $130 to leave there unsatisfied and honestly, feeling ripped off. Never will be going there again. Want a real boil? I came here with my boyfriend after the aquarium which made us have a strong hankering for seafood and the food was OUTSTANDING I've never had a creamy seafood boil sauce so we were both skeptical at first but it was delicious, my boyfriend doesn't like corn on the cob but he ate this one just to have vehicle for the sweet sweet sauce, just thinking about it makes me want it again. We even ate the lemons straight out of their peels to get more of the sauce. My only complaint is they're pretty pricey compared to hook and reel and they give less even though it's supposed to be a pound it doesn't seem like it. I don't believe a pound is = to one cluster. But if it's pay day or someone else's paying then give this place a try for sure! read more

Only gave 4 stars due to pricing, however, the craw boil is the best one I ever had I did have it with all the seasonings combined and with only old bay seasoning , I recommend with all of them and make it mild, the mild even has a kick to it. The oysters are amazing as well. If you're looking for the craw boil l recommend this place! read more

They always have fresh crawfish! Voodoo sauce is great it's got a kick. So if your not a spice lover like I am I would get a different sauce Bc even mild is spicy. I always order extra sauce on the side. The only complaint I have is I wish they would put more sauce as it gets very watered down and it's just not enough. read more

My husband and I went there last night. I was so disappointed. I ordered the crabs, they were very tasty but they gave me 6 little crab legs and I do mean little. They only gave me a fork and a lobster cracker as utensils. A small piece of corn on the cob and a very small potato. The sauce was delicious. My husband ordered catfish. He got a very nice sized meal. If the place is called voo doo crabs , and you order crabs you should get a nice sized portion. The server we had was polite but not very helpful. Had the Snow crab extravaganza. Not Extravegant!! The crab legs were too thin. I had to ask for a small fork to get the meat out. Two of my crab legs were empty!!! It came with two red potato's and two one inch pieces of corn on the cob. They didn't have any coffee, tea, etc. to go with dessert. This is a great place. The food is always great whether you are in the restaurant or getting delivery (through door dash). I'm not the biggest fan of seafood so usually when the rest of my family is craving it I have a hard time finding something to eat. However I can always find something to eat here. I usually order the garlic noodles as my main course even though it's a side dish but it's always been enough to fill me up. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it appears that they got rid of their outdoor bubble tents. They used to have private outdoor eating tents in the shape of a bubble. It was great to be able to sit in your own private space during covid. They still have an outdoor eating area but it is more like being in a crowded area full of people. The private bubble tents were great for people who were just starting to go back to restaurants but still felt uncomfortable being around large crowds. I understand that they are probably expensive to run since they were heated but when I tried to take my elderly parents there because they felt comfortable going out the first time since covid started as long as we could still be somewhat private and the tents were gone we wound up leaving without getting food. read more

I had been to Voodoo Crab at Massapequa and loved it. Was excited to find this in Centereach. My experience was Awesome. I walked in with a friend at 5pm and apparently it was Happy Hour time...heavenly! LOL. We asked for a booth table which was nice and comfy. I went for the Adult Caprisun drink - amazing! Worth a try. Could be a bit strong so be wary if driving. It's very enjoyable though. Then we had chicken wings -2 varieties. I still like the dry rub Cajun the best. Then we ordered Oysters which was to die for ....all from the happy hour menu so all reasonably priced. For Entre, we went for the Boil. Oh la la! It was so enjoyable. I like the way they bring it to the table in a bag and shake it all together in your presence, then serve it. Our waitress, Naya, with the long pink braided hair was super amazing!
