It was definitely spicier than we expected (we picked the second level of spice hoping for a small kick but our mouths were burning) but it was still absolutely delicious. I found this place through a Google search and reviewed their menu, and I am so glad that I did! I ordered my food inside and the waitress that took my order was very friendly. My food was delicious!! The seasoning was ON POINT! I ordered a frozen voodoo juice and let's just say I'm glad I drank it at home because it made me feel real relaxed. we stopped in on a recommendation and we're very happy we did. we were greeted by the hostess that was concerned about a 20 min wait. she sent us to the bar where we had 2 delicious unique drinks. were taken to our table before we finished our drinks. our waitress Racquel greeted us and gave us time to review the menu. she came to take our order and gave us great recommendations for apps that we enjoyed. we ordered two different unique drinks that came with dinner. our entire experience was wonderful. the food, service and atmosphere were great! definitely check this place out! read more

Ok so this is the first time I've eaten here indoors in person. First impressions is that the inside design and decor is quite nice the presentation and taste/quality of the food is great! My gripe comes down to the prep of the food, the crab legs and lobster need to be pre-cracked a bit better as others in my parts were getting quite splashed, the shrimp even with the head off option were a chore having to take the shelf of each one and the legs. When I'm hungry I don't want to do much work but I understand some is involved when it comes to crab legs and lobster. Overall great place and quality food with just some pet-peeves of mine that can be easily rectified heck I'd be fine paying $2 extra for example just so my shrimp are ready to eat! This is the most ridiculous place I have ever eaten. Came here when they first opened for lunch and it was well priced for what I got 3 king crab legs 6 jumbo shrimp and toast and clam chowder for $14.00. So I decided to go back for dinner tonight and I got less food for double the amount of money. If I knew I was going to actually spend $80 dollars for 5 legs and six shrimp I would of went to Popeyes or somewhere down port they need to really reevaluate there plan because they will not last in that location. I just don't understand how the same business at 2 different points in the day have such a static price change. Sad start to what I thought was going to be a good seafood spot. read more

If I was only rating the food, I would give it a 8/10. For service, I would give it a -1. Not only did our waitress throw our utensils at the table but half our meal was not ordered. When we reminded the waitress, she proceeded to tell me that they ran out of our food. When the food arrived, we only received our broil bags. My salmon arrived twenty minutes later and I had to eat after everyone else had ate. It took forever to relieve a receipt. Very sad this took place. read more

I've visited this restaurant prob 3 or 4 times since my last review and customer service just keeps getting worse and worse. Last time we went we reserved an "igloo" and the family besides us had the other other igloo. Apparently they were cold (it was 74° so they asked the staff to turn on the heat which heats up both igloos. We told the staff we did not want the heat on its summer it's nearly 75 degrees and propane heat was way too much.Their response was basically just a shoulder shrug. We did go back again a few weeks later0 had a reservation for 8:30 (they close at 11 and were busy) and once we recieved our food we were practically rushed through our whole dinner. The waitress gave us our check while we were still eating and proceeded to tell us the kitchen was closing so if we want anything else put in the order now ( 35 min prior to closing). I was uncomfortable at that point felt rushed so just asked for a To go box. While waiting the bus boy literally turned the lights off on the igloo we were sitting in (we always reserve an igloo bc immunocompromised and ya know covid) anyway my husband got aggravated at this point and said something to the bus boy to turn on the lights so we can view our receipt and pack our boxes. The manager came over and apologized I guess he knew my husband was pissed! after all we spend good money at this place, it's not cheap, he didn't offer a comp or free drink nothing! which is fine however given the situation he should've done something. Now my last visit will definitely be my last visit. I put in an order to go for 2 dozen oysters and 3 dozen clams and asked for extra cocktail sauce since it was a larger order and they only give you one. The waitress actually called me to tell me that she had to upcharge me for the 2oz container of cocktail sauce. It was only .50 but I still find it ridiculous that bc I was doing take out (just spent 80.00) they would have the balls to call. I asked her why is she charging me when they don't charge extra when you dine in and her response was ill get you the manager. Bottom line this place got way too popular understaffed and customer service and food quality went to crap...there are new similar places popping up all over I guess we'll try something new read more

So excited this opened in Centerreach! Had first gone to a Voodoo Crab a year ago in Rockville Center and was so stoked to see this one in Suffolk County. Had dinner here tonight and everything was AMAZING. Our group was craving fried foods- so we had fried chicken wings, calamari, fish and chips, and the fried soft shell crab- everything was cooked to perfection. We then had the voodoo experience seafood boil with crawfish, shrimp and snow crab legs- absolutely delicious. Our final round was the lava cake with vanilla ice cream and once again, this did not disappoint. Will definitely come back and totally recommend this cajun themed chain! read more

I would highly recommend giving this place a try. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a host. Although there is outdoor seating we decided to sit indoors. We were immediately seated and our waitress (Dominique) attended to us right away. She was very pleasant, she helped us decided on drinks and food options. The food was great, but the stuff crabs were overly breaded (I'm sure they will get it right next time). The music was great and had a really cool vibe. We were there celebrating a birthday. Went for happy hour with a few friends. The food was decent for a chain restaurant and the service was very good. Had raw oysters, clams, grilled oysters, popcorn shrimp and sweet potato fries. Seafood tasted fresh, although the shrimp cocktail was definitely frozen shrimp. The drinks were good too. Our only complaint was the music. For the two hours we were there, they played only rap music. Not one person sitting outside seemed to be enjoying it and it really took away from the vibe of the place. We were expecting a southern cajun theme. Bad call on their part. Change the music and we will be back! read more

Amazing! My mom and I have been dying to try a seafood boil, so we got lunch here to go. For $15 we each got a boil with crab, shrimp, potatoes, bread, and corn-- and it was delicious. By far the best seafood I've had on Long Island. The shrimp were large and crunchy, the crab was sweet, and even my mom (an upstate corn snob) loved the corn. And I absolutely loved the Voodoo Experience sauce in the extra spicy option. The lunch came with soup too, which we're saving for dinner. The staff was friendly and it seems to me like they're good at sticking to Covid safety regulations-- our meal even came with a little pack of gloves. All in all, I'm so happy to find this place and can't wait to go back. read more

Went out to dinner with my husband and 9 month old baby. Was a little skeptical at first because I didn't want the baby to be so fussy. My waiter Kelly was absolutely wonderful. She made sure my baby was okay the whole time. I even asked for multiple plastic spoons so my baby could play with (since my baby kept dropping them on the floor) and Kelly never gave me an issue. My husband had the shrimp cocktails and it tasted so fresh. My baby loved her mashed potatoes and I loved my burgers. The food was delicious and came out hot. I will definitely be back! read more

The food and service is very good, and we enjoyed our dinner. But be warned the music and ambient noise is very loud, due to the bare wooden floors and close quarters. It becomes tiresome and disturbing for older patrons. Some acoustical improvements would help a lot. But don't let that discourage you from dining there, its a treat. Went to Voodoo last night and I was not disappointed. Their food and sauce was pretty good and customer service as well.

Five of us went to Voodoo Crab Monday night. Three adults and two kids. We ordered apps off the happy hour menu consisting of sesame wings that the waitress insisted was the best flavor, baked clams and tempura shrimp. The wings were good but nothing to write home about. Good flavor but not my choice as we are in a seafood restaurant, order seafood. I got outvoted. The baked clams were tiny and just ok. The Tempura shrimp was absolutely wonderful but only came with a tiny cup of dipping sauce and of course we couldn't find the waitress to get more. I could have eaten a whole meal of the shrimp. Anyway, one kid had the Asian marinated ribeye with a side of veggie fried rice. She loved it. Wish she would try seafood. The premise of the restaurant is a Cajun fish boil. You pick your seafood and accoutrements, pick your sauce and heat and away you go with plastic gloves, nut crackers and bibs on. I ordered Manila clams, snow crab legs, andouille sausage and calamari in the house Voodoo sauce, spicy. They bring the whole entree hot in a large plastic bag that is then massaged at the table to coat everything with sauce and dumped on to a tray in front of you and away you go. Sorry also has steamed corn cob pieces and red bliss potatoes. Everything I had was very good. The spicy sauce could have had more picante heat but had great flavor. Some of the others had crawfish which were very sweet and Green New Zealand mussels which if you've never had are sweet and much meatier than local black mussels which they were out of. It was hard to find the waitress sometimes and it wasn't busy. We needed water refills a few times and she couldn't be found. I think they had an issue with ice because our water wasn't cold. This is not a place for a quick meal. It's an experience worth trying but it took us a couple of hours to eat and unfortunately the food was cold at the end. But still worth it. I'll go back because it was fun and the issues hopefully will be rectified by time. FYI not an inexpensive meal but I think worth it read more
