    Found this place by chance since I was in the area. The service was excellent and they were very informative. It was very clean inside and loved the art on the walls. We got soju and the bulgogi rice bowl which had lots of flavor and the pot it comes in keeps it sizzling too. My husband got the udon and he truly enjoyed and we would come again.

    Ordered the bulgogi rice, which was delicious and served very hot. The meat was delicious and well cooked. Can customize the rice topping between cabbage or kimchi. The sauce was a little lacking, added some extra gochujang, available in each table. Great ambiance with minimalistic design. Service: wonderful, quick Parking: Lots of free parking in the lot

    Sad this place is closed now. The space was large and parking was easy. Staff were helpful and it was relatively quick to be served. The food was tasty, we would have definitely come back to try more /:

    came here with my son and his friends after school. They have a great menu selection , we ordered Salmon Bite Rice, Seafood Udon , Bulgogi Udon, Spicy Chicken Rice, and Bulgogi Japache. Everything came out fast and hot. I had the Seafood Udon, which I enjoyed eating. It had a nice Noodle texture and a Good portion of seafood. Overall, it tasted good. No bad comments from the kiddos they all like it. Staff are friendly and the place is clean . Parking space has a lot too.

    Similar concept to Pepper Lunch, Voqozo has sizzling plates with different carbs and proteins. They don't have as many options but I think their portions are generous and there are options for double protein too. Once seated, you order everything through a QC code on the table, through Toast. Food comes out pretty quick since the kitchen doesn't need to cook anything. But because everything is sizzling in the main dining area, it can get a bit stuffy. I ordered the Sliced Beef Steak Rice with cabbage mix and although it's a bit pricey for a meal, the portions were pretty large. I wasn't able to finish the whole thing in one sitting. There was a good meat to rice ratio but there could have been more vegetables. Meat was tender and if you need more flavoring, there are bottles of Sweet and Sour Teriyaki Sauce and Spicy Gochujang Sauce. Pro-tip: spread the rice flat and cover as much of the hot surface of the sizzling plate. Let it sit for a bit to get a delicious, crunchy crust on your rice. We also ordered the French Fries w/ Kimchi Seasoning. Save the dollar and just get the normal fries because I couldn't really taste the Kimchi flavor. The fries themselves were crispy though. Overall, a good meal and a fun experience if you like to cook things yourself. In my opinion, it's not as good as Pepper Lunch flavor-wise but there are some unique things I'd be interested in trying (i.e. Jajang Rice).

    Decently sized casual restaurant with plenty of booths and tables. Service was great and food came out sizzling Bulgogi udon was as expected, sweet and slightly savory with chewy udon noodle sprinkled with green onions & peas on top. Overall flavor and presentation were, decent but nothing with a wow factor - satisfied my cravings!

    My husband works in the area, so he's been here a few times already - he ordered the Jeyuk bowl - tasty! It has good flavor, pork was tender, it comes with rice and kimchi. The spicy chicken udon is good, noodles were cooked perfectly - not too chewy. I like the little char flavor on the chicken. There's a bottle of gochujang sauce at the table, if you want more spice. Our food did come out quickly, but service is lacking tonight. The manager working was not at his best it seems, he was in a mood since taking our order. It's 8pm - 2 hours before closing and he's in such a rush to clean and block half the restaurant off, more customers came in after us so where was everyone going to sit if they dined in? My husband was still polite and thanked him when our food was brought out - no response, he said service is good during lunch, so maybe it'll be better next time around.

    Came here for the first time, my kids wanted to try something new. We liked the idea of sizzling plate on all menu options. The bulgogi was alright, it was extra seeet to me, I've tried better ones. My kids love the salmon plate and teriyaki udon. The teriyaki was not too overwhelmingly sweet. The rare steak was already cooked by the time it was served to us. Mybgusband was hoping it was still pinkish. Lots of parking; service was fast; Good amount of seating areas inside, few outside;

    I've had this place on my list for a while, mainly because all the pictures looked so yummmmmyyyyy! Well, my friend and I finally made our way in, and we were impressed! The food was as good as it looks in the pictures. By no means is this the best we've ever had, but for the price and convenience, it was pretty good! My only note is: I wish the spam was a little more crispy. Other than that, pretty good.

    Possibly my newest favorite place to fast grub near UTC. There's a place up in NorCal that I missed so much since moving to SD that would sell sizzling plates. Voqozo took the concept and made it original, made it their own, and definitely made it delicious. The portion is sure worth the price (average priced) and the service is great. Ordering is done on your phone or at the counter, super simple. It's especially great for a dine and go when you have busy schedules but still a homey and friendly place to sit and dine with friends and family. The restaurant is very clean and generally just all positive things when it comes to Voqozo. I'll definitely be coming back. The food here is fantastic, especially if you're into bold, comforting Korean flavors with a twist. My favorite was the spicy chicken rice bowl. It comes out in a dramatic dome of rice over a bed of sautéed chicken and vegetables, served in a sizzling stone bowl. Once you stir it all together, the rice gets perfectly crispy against the hot surface. This style really elevates the dish and makes it feel unique to this place. The bulgogi udon was also very good. It's more of a classic stir-fry plate with thick, chewy noodles, tender beef, and mixed veggies. It's tasty and satisfying, just a bit more standard compared to the sizzling rice bowl. I loved the spicy gochujang at the table. It adds a great kick without overpowering the dish. There's also a sweet and tangy teriyaki-style sauce for those who prefer something milder. Service was fast and courteous. This is a great spot for lunch or takeout. The atmosphere is more functional and fast-paced, so come for the food, not the vibe.

    Came here last Sunday and you can order by scanning the QR code at the table or at the counter. I chose the Jeyuk (spicy pork) rice and the sliced beef steak rice. Hubby opted for the bulgogi and Spam may rice. The first 3 bowls came out super fast! They were sizzling and hot! I started mixing the ingredients and the bowls were pretty tasty! Hubby loved the Spam one a lot. These bowls were quite tasty and service was quick and friendly,

    Came here for lunch with my mom on a weekend. This is in a strip mall where Ross and Marshalls are. They have plenty of parking spaces. My mom and I shared the double jeyu (spicy spork) that came with a small bowl of rice. It came sizzling hot and smells delicious. The taste did not disappoint either. Server was very nice and helpful as well. Will definitely come back here and try other dishes.

Beef noodle soup - excellent flavor overall, including a strong broth and a nice, soft texture to the noodles. Out of the countless Chinese restaurants I've visited for beef noodle soup, this makes its way into the top three. 5/5 Lamb skewers - wayyyyy too dry. This is certainly not their specialty, and asking for extra cumin to sprinkle on the lamb did not redeem the firmness. I struggled to slide the meat off the skewer and ended up just eating it while still on the stick. 1.5/5 Fish fillet - so good. Easy to eat texture-wise. Caution -- a bit saltier than it looks. The bell peppers in particular were seasoned spectacularly. 4.5/5 Dry fried green beans - a delicious option for vegetables to add to the table. Most people will enjoy this one in my opinion. A bit more crunch than I expected, which is not a bad thing. 4/5 Double cooked pork - I've never seen it cooked this way, and am not a fan. I'm used to a more oily version of this dish. It contained a bunch of dried and crunchy... yams? Potatoes? Overall, the dish was mainly crunch with no flavor, and contained a relatively small amount of pork. 1/5

You're getting a spicy miso broth with slow-cooked pork belly, bok choy, carrots, and noodles (ramen or udon)--so it hits that comforting, savory lane right away. The broth has a nice kick without being overwhelming, and the pork belly adds that richness to balance everything out. At first, she said the order only could be done on 1 bill. And then later she compromised with 2 bills, 5 people per table. That was nice of her! I just had 2 coffees before entering so I decided to skip ordering Thai tea. But they had a large drink menu, of fruit teas and more. My friend had the lychee tea which was very large and looked super refreshing! They also came by often to top off our waters which was nice. To eat, I ordered the $16.99~, Cashew Chicken Stir Fry with White Rice. It came with onion, green onion, carrots, zucchini, bell pepper, and cashews. The carrots were beautifully cut, but a little too crunchy for me to properly enjoy in the stir fry. Everything else was delicious! I think this could definitely be shared between 2-3 people. It reminded me a little of chicken satay~ it smelled and looked incredible. The restaurant used thin rice noodles, but it didn't clump excessively compared to other restaurants. The prices are what you'd typically see at a Pan-Asian restaurant, a few dollars more than what you'd want to spend. But these kinds of restaurants, in my opinion, are for enjoying with others.
