My husband and I ordered seafood udon and spicy pork rice (jeyuk) to share and we absolutely loved them! I'd definitely add kimchi to spicy pork rice to give extra crunch and flavor. For seafood udon, we ordered some sriracha on the side for extra kick. The only downside I can see is the amount of rice you get on the rice plates as it seems a bit small for my husband (but plenty of meat to compensate). I was really excited about this place and all in all I had a pleasant time. The bulgogi udon was good from a taste and texture standpoint. However, I was shocked at the portion size. The plate on the wooden stand in the photos makes the dish look bigger than it actually is, but the plate is actually very shallow. If I was hungry it wouldn't be enough for dinner, which is fine I guess but considering the price and the food you're getting isn't that expensive to buy and prepare, it leaves a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth. The best part HAD been the sizzling plates and food with a char to varying degrees. Every time. Came here and received chicken that was barely warm. The fork was cold after being in the meat and anyone that's been here (before it went downhill) knows how hot it these plates are. Both myself and my bf went up to ask if the chicken could be a reheated and in both instances this was rejected by a bald man says "the chicken already cooked" "rice is cooked" and when we left they just said sorry the back manager is pushing the food out before it's ready.... um thanks?!? They repeatedly refuse to warm the food. His food was hot not sure why mine is not. Eventually I just got a Togo box to take the food home. Why would you expect your guest to eat barely warm food bc it's "pre cooked" especially at place people come to for food sizzling hot and getting a significant portion of its cooking from the hot plate (which has a shield on it to keep guests from burning themselves). It wasn't even hot let alone sizzling. I guess I need to cook the food myself as it is barely above room temp. Please change the wording on the packaging from "sizzling" to "maybe warm and we don't care" That's all I got! Not sure what changed, but it's bad news. read more

WOW!!! What a wonderful surprise. The food was absolutely amazing. Tried the Beef Bulgogi first, which was maybe the best Bulgogi I've had. Then tried the Spicy Pork, which was even better than the amazing Bulgogi. Last was the sliced Beef, which was the new start of the show, great quality beef, perfectly seasoned but not sauced over seasoned to overpower the taste of the beef itself. Absolutely ridiculously delicious. The manager Scott was working the counter, and was very helpful, offered great suggestions, and was super helpful and friendly. He gave me some of the kimchi sauce and recommended dipping the pork. I really don't think the pork could get any better, but boy was I wrong. A flavor explosion, that got better with every bite.
