Today I had bought Rose Tea to my co-worker for making lose weight. The sales are super pretty, nice and helpful.

I know there are so many matcha spots popping up all over Orange County, but let me tell you--SIP…read moreis genuinely one of the best cafés around. They've been consistently amazing ever since they opened, and somehow they've only gotten better over time. I honestly enjoy just about every drink on their menu, especially their seasonal specials. My all-time favorite has to be their 2026 Spring Earl Grey Matcha. I was getting it almost every week, and I was genuinely sad when they switched over to their summer menu. Thankfully, they kept the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha, because wow... what a flavor explosion. It's easily one of the best matcha drinks I've ever had, and my friend and I keep coming back just for it. I know it sounds a little adventurous, because it did to me, but when I tried it, it genuinely changed my life (kidding). If mango isn't your thing, I highly recommend either the Double Matcha or the Banana Matcha. The Double Matcha is perfect if you love a strong matcha flavor; you can really taste the quality of the matcha they use. As for the Banana Matcha, I normally don't gravitate toward banana drinks, but SIP completely changed my mind. They use what tastes like a banana pudding instead of artificial banana flavoring, and it blends so smoothly with the matcha that every sip feels balanced and indulgent. The café itself is just as charming as the drinks. The wood paneling gives the space a cozy, retro vibe that makes you want to stay a while, and the staff is always incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming.

The space is super cute with such a fun, cozy vibe, and the staff was so kind and welcoming. I especially loved the red gingham decor it gives the whole place the cutest little picnic feel There are a few chairs where you can sit, sip, and chat, but no tables, so I wouldn't really consider this a spot to bring your laptop and work. Now the MATCHA I looooved their matcha with the Earl Grey foam top. OMG... it was phenomenal!! The matcha was earthy, umami, and so well balanced, and the hint of Earl Grey in the foam complemented it perfectly without overpowering the matcha. Such a good combination! I will 100% be coming back for this one!

I went around 12:30 pm and it was a packed lot. The store itself was too busy and felt cramped. The space seems suitable for smaller groups. At the time, there was a line before you could order. It took almost 10 minutes for the order to be ready. American Express is accepted here. Sea Salt Coffee: This was on the signature section so I had big expectations for it. It was a very small drink (9 oz). It was slightly salted, tasted bitter, and wasn't sweet despite having condensed milk as an ingredient. It wasn't good. Canale: Despite having to wait for the drink, I needed to wait longer for this because the staff forgot to put it in the order. I needed to wait for them to prepare it in the back and also go back to the counter to charge for it. All to wait for something that was mushy. Coffee Beans: I saw there were coffee beans from Glitch in Japan. It was a brand that I loved there so I wanted to give it a try. I don't usually like fruity notes but this was really delicious. However, it's extremely pricy for how little beans there is.

They are located in the same plaza as Brodard, Vox Kitchen, Rol Handbar, etc. in Fountain Valley. This location is open later than the other Airoma. They use ceremonial matcha which makes a huge difference. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte (74% sweet) after trying one previously in LA. I paid and waited for my order to be ready. After a few minutes, I received my order. I shook it up and tried it. Delicious! Even better than I remembered. My husband who doesn't usually enjoy matcha, tried it and liked it. He does not dig the earthy taste, but this drink changed his perspective. Airoma made my husband a believer in matcha. We do not usually go out too often for matcha, but when I'm in the mood next, this place will be a must visit. I'll have to try their egg coffee in the future too.

We tried their OG egg vietnamese coffee and pandan matcha (no changes) to see how sweet they are. Their vietnamese coffee was strong and good but did not notice anything unique about it. The pandan matcha had a lovely note of vanilla from the pandan. It was a little too sweet for me, would recommend 75% or 50%. The nice thing is you can request a shot of coffee for free. No milk subs but oat milk is used for the matcha drinks.

It's located in a large plaza that contains a supermarket. I went at around 11 AM and it was busy. There was a wait for ordering and many seating was already taken. For future reference, there is an option to order online for pickup. American Express is accepted here. I wasn't sure what to order at the time. With a recommendation, the staff said biscoff cookie butter latte was good option for those with a sugar craving. Looking at the menu again, I saw they had a pistachio cream latte. Absolutely loved the drink; cream top wasn't too sweet and paired well with the espresso. Despite being busy, it only took a few minutes for them to make the drink. They also sold coffee beans, which I grabbed as well. Appreciated that they have different pricing for later roasted dates. I was able to grab a spot as someone was leaving. It's a decent spot to sit and get some work done. However, it could be a bit nosy. If not a working spot, definitely for picking up quality coffee drinks! Looking forward to trying out other items in the next visit.

The business has a few tables outside and a good amount of seating inside as well. I ordered a Ube Cream Coffee - Saigon Style ($5.50). Yummmm!! The menu takes familiar Vietnamese flavors then gets a little creative with them. The space itself has that same trendy Kei Concepts feel too. Cute, lively, but still casual enough to stop in for brunch or coffee. The workers here were super attentive and friendly throughout our visit. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, but we narrowed it down to the Seafood Ceviche, Matcha Cloud Latte, Egg Coffee, plus the Beef Belly Banh Mi Chao. The Seafood Ceviche comes with scallops, shrimp, calamari, mango, coconut, Thai chili, plus shrimp chips. This was such a clean and bright bite with a little tropical flavor from the mango and coconut. There was a nice kick of spice too. They gave a good amount of seafood, so you weren't just eating toppings and sauce. Scoop everything onto one of those crispy shrimp chips... so good. The Matcha Cloud Latte was dangerously easy to drink. I genuinely think I could take down three of these. It's made with oat milk then topped with matcha cheese foam. It was creamy with such a vibrant green matcha flavor. Slightly sweeter than I normally prefer, but I'm sure you could ask for less sweetness. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but the Egg Coffee surprised me. It's Vietnamese milk coffee topped with egg foam and cocoa powder. That cream was DELICIOUS. Last was the Beef Belly Banh Mi Chao. It comes with beef belly, black peppercorn sauce, sunny eggs, pork roll, pate, tomatoes. We added Chinese sausage since we were sharing, but honestly we didn't even need it. They give you a MOUNTAIN of beef belly. I loved being able to build each bite however I wanted with the bread, beef, egg, pate, plus everything else on the plate. Such a fun dish to share. Another Kei Concepts win for me. I already know there are more things on this menu I need to come back for.

The inside is nice and bright, with clean dark wood and faux greenery throughout, and high ceiling that make the space open despite the large number of tables available. We shared the Tom Kha Pasta, Bun Ca, Bun Boe Hue Dry Noodles and the Mango Squid Salad to start, and it came out to be about $30 a person. I had to get the Viet Egg Coffee - I typically get this hot but it was such a hot weekend I had to get it iced. I find that Nep Cafe is the only place where Egg Coffee is still good despite being iced and overall they have my favorite egg coffee anywhere, with the perfect match of a creamy eggy thick top and strong coffee underneath. Definitely get this if you're a fan of egg coffee. The mango squid salad was the perfect appetizer, slightly tangy, sweet and spicy, refreshing and the squid was a good texture - not chewy at all. Of the noodles, the Tom Kha was my favorite, super fragrant, creamy but not heavy, and flavorful - followed by the Bun Ca which was clean, comforting and filling, and the Dry Bun Boe Hue, which unfortunately wasn't too memorable. Overall, a great meal with tasty fusion flavors, and definitely good portion sizes for sharing at a fairly reasonable price. Nice ambiance and friendly service which make for a great catch up meal with friends!
