I used to come here a lot as I really liked the food but tonight things have changed!When I crave Waba I crave everything and that includes the Teriyaki (Waba) sauce and the Waba hot sauce that is usually next to it in the pump type dispensers.I love the flavors altogether!But tonight I'm a bit disappointed,actually quite a bit!They took away the Waba hot sauce and now hand you a couple packets of Louisiana style hot sauce.Uh NO!thats not what I want.When I asked the girl replied"They took it away and this is all we have now".A corp decision?Why...what's this all about?I come here for the "Full experience" of what Waba has to offer and now it's gone.Really...there is no substitute!It's like having a craving for anything and find that they took something away..eliminated something.It's just not the same!With that,I will be Emailing Corp.and will not set foot back in until it changes...if it does!Very bummed about this! read more

Not surprised for the reviews I am reading. This place is the absolute worst of the locations in high desert. I go and spend $9 on a bowl with steak, chicken, brown rice and veggies. To get a cold meal. Not only that but the girl who was sweeping the trash off the floor went from the dustpan to my bowl. Not even washing her hands. No gloves. Went to take my food and eat it in my car and to find out it's cold. I hate confrontation and I just ate it but I wanted to let corporate know my Experience. To find out she told the manager to call me and she never did. I called back days later to remind them, to be told she called me twice and left voicemails. My phone is brand new and not a single missed call or voicemail. Then I explain my situation because she didn't even address the full issues in an email she went me. Rather than calling me she emails. Which isn't very personal or professional. But to each their own. So I explain to her and she offers me 10% off and a free soda. Which was a slap in the face because I went there twice spent $19 for the best bowl basically and so I told her keep the 10% because it's not going to fix the horrible experience. Second time I went back thinking they would make fresh since I asked because last time they had like 8 chicken pieces laying out but yet no customers. So I told the girl Jade and she said ok and never told the cook so I had to remind her, to find out he slaps an older piece of meat that's been sitting there on the grill to " make it fresh" the worst service and gave me dirty looks because I explained what happen the first time. So then the manager offers a chicken bowl because I don't need a soda as I am insulin resistance and I usually only drink water. And 10% was nothing compared to the money I wasted. To be told if you want vegetables like I had before I need to pay $1.07. I mean really? Their arguing over a dollar? Lol instead of making things right for the customer when they were Serving food that way? In my opinion and I am sure many more others that's horrible. I paid the $1.07 but to tell me wel give you chicken and rice that's all you get too bad basically after all that hassle? What kind of meal is that? Coming from someone with PCOS and a balanced diet is the reason I went there although yes I could have made it at home for less the hassle. But to be argued with over a dollar. Paying the dollar wasn't the issue as I have already wasted $19 and half my day Over it but they could have easily just given the vegetables without all that. Pretty sad. I will never go back and I will be sure to warn others of the experience because it was absolutely horrible. read more

I absolutely love this place. Their tofu bowl is amazing. It is pricey, especially if you get it with avocado but it's still worth the money spent . very generous portion sizes too. They even have a few zero calorie drinks on tap for the calorie conscious out there. read more

I am not sure if this establishment has recently changed ownership, but they have definitely changed their food...for the worse. Last week I ordered a bowl with all white meat. As expected, the staff were kind and I waited the usual 8mins for my specialized order. My order was to-go. When I got to my car I took a quick bite only to spit out the chicken. It tasted funny. I assumed the chicken was not fully cooked. Ok, it happens. When I returned home I recooked the chicken another 10mins. Took a bite and blech! Chicken still tasted funny. I ate the rice and threw the rest away. Tonight I ordered a half/half, again white meat, again my order was to-go. I dont know what that chopped up highly sauced brown stuff was, but it was not any beef that I recognize. And the chicken? Once again that weird rubbery taste that mimics undercooked, but when I inspected it - it was cooked. But, it certainly was not edible. This is a shame, as I rejoiced when they came to town and now, I am forced to Yelp, as I can no longer rejoice. 2 stars because the staff is kind. read more

This place is way overpriced for what you get. My friend and I both ordered the Chicken Veggie Bowl with brown rice. The veggies, cabbage and carrots, were stored in a large vat of hot water. They were (what little you got) spooned over the rice along with the chicken. The ONLY flavor to this bowl was the heavily sugar laden sauce squirted on the chicken. We paid $8.07 for a bowl of bland brown rice, tasteless, soggy veggies and grilled chicken with a tiny shot of sugar sauce. Do yourself a favor and go next door to Fresh Wok. Their bowls are far better, way less expensive and include a drink. read more

Love this place! My husband and I come here at least once a week. He gets a regular steak bowl with white rice. I get a kids chicken bowl with brown rice and broccoli and give him the drink that comes with it. The food comes out quickly and tastes delicious. The staff is friendly. They used to have stamp cards but I think they stopped giving them out. Please bring those back! Look out for coupons in the deals book in the mail. read more

It was good, I wanted something healthy and light (actually, I really wanted pizza next door ) and I decided to go to this place and got a shrimp rice and veggie bowl. Portion size was good, flavor was good, the only thing I hated was that they left the tails on the shrimp, which was annoying because the sauce is sticky a I hate eating messy food out at restaurants but maybe next time I can ask them to remove the tails haha. read more

I thought I'd give it one more try. I went in to the restaurant today and stayed away from anything "lettuce"...that kale is bad stuff, and instead ordered a vegetable base with chicken on top. I noticed they now serve tofu in several formats, although unlike the kale you can choose to eat the tofu or select more traditional foods. I've eaten a chicken meal at this restaurant once or twice a week for about six months. I've not gone as regularly when KALE was put into all their lettuce means. In any case, having a craving for their great chicken product I was surprised when they delivered what tasted very much like duck. It was brown (I always order unseasoned white meat), grisly, with an odd taste. I had one more small bite, but it still had the odd taste. They made another batch of white chicken, but it was the same. Apparently, this was a bad shipment or they have cheapened their product line once again. If the latter is true it is so sad, for their chicken was the reason to go back after my work outs. read more
