I like Waba Grill for the convenience and somewhat "healthier" options compared to other fast foods. However, this Waba Grill needs to get on Hesperia's Waba Grill's level (the one located by the other super target) because that one is the superior one out of all of them. I always get the chicken and just veggies bowl (no rice). At the Hesperia location I get a lot of vegetables and I feel like I get what I pay for. At this one my bowl was barely filled with veggies. It sucks because I like the apple valley target as it is closer to where I live but maybe I should just make the extra trip and gas to the Hesperia target and Waba Grill. The food even looks better and more appetizing at that one. I'll need take a pic and I will add both for comparison when I go again. read more

Today I went before work to grab some lunch. What a horrible experience. The customer service by Adriana was unacceptable. She sounded completely upset she was at work. She was not friendly. I ordered a bowl half steak/ half chicken with brown rice. Upon getting my order it was all chicken. Then it was white rice. When I went to tell her I asked for brown rice. She implied I was lying said," you did not ask for brown rice.". I specifically did. Not only was she extremely rude. She proceeded to tell the cook how I did not ask for brown rice. I could hear her across the room. Extremely unprofessional. Rude. Poor customer service. I will not but coming back. Definitely will be reaching out to management team. We live in Apple Valley was driving from Whittier home almost 2 hours we were very hungry decided to wait close to home to get food when we arrived there were only two workers understandable as we arrived at 9:00 pm they close at 10:00. The worker immediately notified us they were out of chicken! Ugh okay my husband ordered the salmon I ordered beef, I asked her for extra green onions she said they were out I was not happy she mentioned she had been out of most of her items since noon that day! Its happen ! They no longer serve fresh food. We went for dinner tonight and ordered 4 combo bowls. They didnt grill the chicken or the beef when we ordered it. They took the meats out of a warmer and threw it on the grille to re-heat it. Chicken was dry. Beef was dry and way too much grisle. Poor quality, old poor not fresh taste. We were all very disappointed. As far as the service although not bad just not friendly at all. We will not be back. I think we will stick to the other place in town. I go to this Waba in Apple Valley because it's close by and my sons love it. I always get a friendly greeting and great customer service. About a year ago I notice the portions got less and it looks like they are somewhat back to normal. I usually go once a week and it's clean. read more

Literally the only reason I'm giving a 2 is bc the girls working here (Vivian and Dana) were so kind and understanding and it was out of their control. Their "manager" Isiah should be fired. Not only did he make me wait over an hour for a refund he wanted to do it over the phone. What company does that? That's what you call THEFT. Open the till give the money back, or give them a code to let them give people their refund. He left these girls with no other manger, no food, no rice, no veggies and told them to stay OPEN. I was not the only one there was 4 other customers and plenty of door dash's who also I'm sure lost out on money, that he also said not to close down. There should NEVER not be a manager on site if you can't refund without one. I had a bad experience here last week. My husband and I went in at 9:45 and were told they were closed, when they realized that wasn't gonna work because we knew they closed at 10 they said they were out of food with no real apology or anything. Why then am I giving them 5 stars? Because no matter how good an establishment is there will always be error somewhere. What matters is how they fix it. I emailed management off of the site and was written back by an actual person not some generic response with a coupon attached. They said they reviewed the cameras and handled the situation with the staff and sincerely apologized. To me that shows ownership and management that cares how their customers are treated and will fix any mistakes brought to their attention. We will definetly give them another try. Went last night, got the chicken plate to go!Nothing like getting home to find (3) 2 inch long pieces of like Clear ziplock or freezer plastic bagging or something in your chicken.
