First let me start off by saying my family and i eat here at least 4 times per week. The food is always good quality and the wait is always reasonable. I'm actually writing this review because of one employee in particular; ARTURO. i was in there yesterday picking up my to go order and i think maybe it was during a shift change and possibly the training of a new employee, not to mention the dinner rush. There was a woman infront of me that had some issue with her order, and another woman waiting for her order and then me. Arturo managed all three of us with a relaxed, yet very in control manner. He assisted the two girls at the counter with the woman infront of me. He was working with the chefs, the cashiers and acknowledging each and every customer. He apologized for the wait to the other lady in line as her food took a little longer to get out. Overall, he really stood out to me as far as his customer service and the way he was working alongside his team. I. Thought he had ti be the manager.. When i asked and learned he was not I was shocked ! I can only hope that the manager will read this and give Arturo proper acknowledgement & recognize him for the outstanding employee he is !!! New Waba Grill. It is clean and organized. I like their carrots with jalapeño sides. I normally get the chicken bowl with veggies. They have a two types of hot sauce. One from waba grill brand and I think the other is Louisiana hot sauce. Price is on the highee side but it is what you pay for quality foods. Since this place opened it has been busy. You can't miss it as it is near the freeway exit and entrance near Harbor Freight. Cops normally get their food here so it's fairly safe. No weirdos hanging outside. read more

This place is disgusting. The moment I walked in I got hit with a foul smell that didn't go away until I left. There is trash everywhere, on the floor and tables. Food on the floor. Condiments are an absolute mess, spillage all over. About three bites in to our meal we found a hair about 7 inches long wrapped around a piece of the meat... there was also a piece of plastic in in the salad. I come into this location a lot. And I'm always greeted friendly. I am deaf and I read lips. So I always explain that to new people when I come in. Today I did that. And the cashier named RAM looked at me like I was stupid when I explained that I was deaf and I read lips. A customer in line even tried to explain my situation as well and he continued to look at me with a blank stare and a smirk on his face. It was extremely humiliating and I don't need to be basically laughed at or someone to make me feel badly for my disability. I'm very functional and I don't need to be treated like a leper. I can only assume she was a new hire who was placed on the counter without any instructions. I have been going to Waba 4-5 days a week for almost two years now. I went to the one in Temecula. I relocated for work and this one has been hit or miss. Check your food every time. 50% it is wrong. Paid for extra chicken, didn't get it. Order the Asian bbq, don't get any BBQ sauce. Ask for no veggies, boom, veggies. Ask for brown rice, you get white rice. I order the same meal, EVERYTIME. I don't get how orders can be wrong that often. It seems to be a trend after looking at similar reviews. Everything else is great. Customer service and quality of food. This location just opened a couple weeks ago. The food was great as usual, but I did notice that they put way more rice and less meat as other locations do. The staff was friendly, a little too friendly actually, to the point where it feels fake. The sauces/pickles area needed to be cleaned and the bathroom ran out of soap and paper towels. There is plenty of seating (outdoor too) and parking. If they start putting more meat they would get 4 stars. read more

I was really disappointed that they didn't have green onions for their plates/ bowls. The green onions are a defining element of the bowl. The food is not the same without the green onion. Also the customer service was not that great. read more

I ate here for the first time yesterday with my friends. Ernesto I think is new, he has a raining badge on. I just have to say that walking in my friend gave my a long hug because it was a tough day at work, he opened the door before we even reached it saying, "we look like we needed the door held open for them today." His whole service taking our trays, making sure we were doing ok while we ate was FAR better service than some of the up scale restaurants I go to. I will be coming back because I know I'll have a smile on my face leaving there. The only reason they have 1 star is because the food is okay. But this location has higher prices. Therefore I think this is a franchise. Other locations have a. 50 to. 75 cent difference. This location doesn't offer a military discount like other locations. The cashiers are rude and ignorant. I prefer driving to the locations that honor there military discount. LOVE Waba Grill. This is my first time coming to this one and the staff was kind even after I spilled my drink all over the floor by accident. The chicken didn't have its signature grill marks and the rice was a bit mushy as if it had too much water when cooked. The veggies were great, they had that crunch I enjoy. Another nitpick was that they don't put dressing in the salad or at least let you know it doesn't have any so you can ask for some. Regardless, always be loyal to Waba Grill locations. read more

First time eating Waba Grill alot of Co workers told me to try it out. That the food is very good and healthy. So decided to try it. May I say it was nothing like ppl said. I got the Shrimp Veggie Bowl. The shrimp tasted very nasty tastes more like burnt than anything else. The veggies are suppose to be steamed. They weren't. It was my first time eating at a Waba Grill and I did not enjoy it. I had got a steak rice bowl and the way it looked in the photo shown above the menu, did not look the same as the food.
