This franchise location and the one in Rancho do not accept WaBa Grill gift cards. I found that issue coupled with the fact that the staff is curt and do not value customer service to be distasteful. When I inquired about the gift card issue I was told to call the number on the gift card. This was wrong information just given to me to make me be quiet. I called the "restaurant" again, and I was told that I could call corporate, but they probably wouldn't do anything to help. She then told me that her boss just doesn't take them at the locations he owns. Bad business practices. You lost me as a customer. I'm going to go to the one in Glendora. The chicken had a weird taste and the veggies didn't taste fresh. Could it be because the girl who answered the phone was giving me attitude the entire time? She was upset that I was placing an order 10 mins before closing; I was 2 mins away. The entire phone interaction she was full of attitude saying "greeaaaat, what can I get you then?" Asked for my name, told her and once again she responded with "Greeaaaaat, it's karen" & I know she meant it in the way memes are condescending the name. "Typical Karen".. unfortunate for this franchise to have hired such a horrible person who could easily push away many customers with that attitude. Wouldn't be surprised if they messed with my food & that's why it tasted terrible. read more

Great service and kind staffs! Restaurant was nice and clean. Food was well prepared and delicious just like the other Waba grill locations. Kids portion was kind of smaller than expected, but it could be just my kid outgrowing kids menu with big appetite. I'd say it'll be good for kids under 6 or 7 yo. Tonight we ordered a family meal that included chicken & steak, white rice, vegetables and dumplings. Unfortunately, our food was not good. The chicken was dry & cold, the rice was cold and the dumplings were rubbery. I have purchased dumplings elsewhere and they were grilled on each side, these were not. For a "meal" that almost cost $27.00 it was not worth it. I have been to other WaBa Grills and tonight was definitely a disappointment. read more

Friendly place and good food! The manager went out of her way to make sure I was happy with the food and service, I was. I like the #12 Waba bowl with onions. But, I'm not liking the sauces in packages now.. I much prefer the bottles on the counter. The tiny sauce packs are a pain! Sorry if some people can't get the sauce in the cups without squirting themselves, but now they have made it inconvenient for all of us. At least give us the option to use the bottles.. Sadly, I gave this Waba Grill location waaaayy too many chances. Maybe they were doomed when I compared them to the location on Indian Hill & Auto Centre Dr. Or maybe I have stopped by on the wrong days. You know one of those bad days or bad timings type of deal. Everything at this location seems to be mediocre; from the service to the food quality I can't say it's been enjoyable. If it's not the timing of the food service, then I'm feeling that I'm an annoyance by the cashier, or the food is cold when I received it. They don't even want to serve you what you pay for. I really don't expect to ever see a black rim of bowl when I first receive my chicken and beef bowl. Why is it only half full? That never happens at the other locations..... Just saying This last time though was the last straw. I ordered the Salmon and Veggies bowl. Service was actually fast, but it came at a cost; the veggies weren't cooked to my usual liking, but that wasn't the problem. The salmon was NOT cooked at all as soon as I bit into it it was cooked at 50 percent. Having that serves to me was very disappointing, and to top that it had no flavor. I can't say I will be returning. read more

Horrible. I called to place an order and they forgot I was on the phone. I could hear them as they were taking people's orders but after they were done they never came back. After waiting for 17 mins I walked in and told them they forgot me... they definitely need to do something about phone orders. I guess they have way too much business and don't care about their customers. The employees don't seem to care here... I don't think I will be coming back here... boo on you waba grill!! This location is by far the worst Waba I've ever been to. I've been here multiple ones trying to give this location a chance but I need to just not consider this location at all when looking for a Waba. Every Waba I've been to gives you your money's worth and fills the bowl to the rim of food and veggies. This location serves you a quarter of the amount of rice and veggies as other locations. Zero stars. The only time I've actually gotten a normal size bowl is when a friend of mine made the bowl. Sizes are very inconsistent. Super disappointed in this location. Today the chicken and beef in the combo/veggie bowl was diced in tiny cubes. I'd estimate there was less than half the amount of meat I'd received in the past. The veggies were just as bad. If I could give the place a 0, I would. This is based on just the food. The service and cleanliness of the place were fine but the food....YUCK! I will never, ever go back again. I got the chicken bowl with brown rice and veggies. The bowl was 96% rice, 3% veggies (that were bland and tasteless) and 1% chicken. The bowl needed more sauce- it was so dry and just tasteless. I had it for lunch at work and I had to search the fridge for something to pour on it so it wouldn't be so dry and tasteless. I ended up putting ranch dressing on it. My daughter got a salmon bowl and it was no better. Needless to say it was a waste of about $17.00 and I will never bother going back there again. read more

They were kind and friendly. They forgot to charge her so when she got hone, we realized that we were not charged so I called them to pay over the phone. Aaron P- per the name on my receipt did a great job! They were extremely busy just he and one other employee at high noon. I was in line behind 2 people and there were 6 people behind me and a grub hub driver for pick up at the counter. They were crazy busy! This young man had a great attitude, very friendly and made sure the orders were correct by checking each ticket as he filled the orders. I know because I alone ordered 6 bowls for my family. I gladly drive to this location having one 5 minutes from me in Claremont because the service here FAR EXCEEDS the service by staff in Claremont- which is too bad. Can you maybe transfer Aaron to Claremont location? Hopefully he is a supervisor or manager because he has the right attitude for it! read more

The steak is good, don't order the salmon, it's horrible, the meat is white, taste so fishy, it felt like it's been frozen and defrost and back to frozen many times, it taste disgusting. EW! Food took forever and no one else was there. When I got my food my chicken was gross. No good meat to it, all tough, fatty, tendons and such. The food is great, unfortunately the staff is not well trained on phone orders and have messed up my order a few times. This last time I spoke with the manager, Elizabeth, who didn't have a clue as to what I was speaking about and then she transferred me to a some guy by the name of Quinn (who was supposedly the general manager) who was really confrontational and rude. They just lost good customers because we would go in about 2 times a week as the food is really good. Maybe once the staff changes, we will go in again. read more
