Service: fast and efficient. The cashier/person in the counter is okay. You put away your own trays. Food: Chicken tastes like Flame Broiler, but the beef is good, some pieces were crispy which was a big plus. They have shrimp and salmon bowl. Also, you could add avocado for $1.50. This is just based on this establishment. I made a mobile order and went in to pick it up. The employee didn't have my order at all. They were very busy and looked to be extremely understaffed. Although my food was not ready and had wait a good amount of time. The employee at the register was very nice. Apologized for my order and jumped on it. After placing the order on the WaBa Grill app, and specifically ordering extra sauces, which there is now a charge for; when the food arrived I was missing the extra sauces. I called and the person answering the phone told me she was the one who packed the order and that she put the 2 sauces in the bag. I ordered 4 different types, which is reflected in my receipt and the order slip attached to the bag. She then told me I could go out of my way to go in and get them, or call on my next order and explain to them and they would include it. Then she tried to tell me that I was not charged for these; however, my receipt and credit card transaction indicate differently. I then waited on hold for 10 minutes for a manager, and they never came to the phone. Why would you make a customer go out of their way to correct your mistake, then try to lie to them? I don't know what they put in their food but there's always little pieces of something extremely hard that I end up spitting out, and today i chipped one of my teeth while eating a beef and chicken bowl. I mean it's a beef and chicken bowl, there shouldn't be anything hard in there. But sure enough there was a little piece of something hard in my bowl and this time it chipped a tooth. This location has amazing customer service. I ordered a salmon bowl, no teriyaki sauce on the salmon. The new guy on the grill made it with teriyaki sauce, but not much so I took it. People make mistakes when they are new, and they apologized. I sat down and began eating, and a few minutes later an employee comes to my table with a piece of salmon without teriyaki sauce and apologized again. I wanted to try this place out since it is a close apples to apples comparison to Flamebroilers and the quality of food and cleanliness is way better than the Flamebroilers on Foothill in Rancho Cucamonga. The Chicken was juicy and cooked really well, the flavor was delicious and the veggies were not over cooked. It is expensive, (5 people for $45 bucks because we added white meat only, and brown rice, which are all extra!) but I guess being healthy does cost more. -1 star for the smell of the restaurant - another reviewer was right in that as soon as you walk in, it smells funny! Luckily my order was to go, so I didn't have to sit in the restaurant for long. Side note - I had asked my family to check out the website menu and let me know what they wanted, but their menu #'s are totally different from the online website menu, and so at the counter in the restaurant I was confused and had to reexamine the whole order to make sure I got everything right. read more

I usually go to another Waba that's closer to my house, but today I stopped at this one on Haven on my way home. The place is very clean and the workers here are really friendly. I was helped by a girl named Laura and she was very attentive. I was ordering a few orders to go and she paid close attention to the requests I made. When the orders came out, she checked each one to make sure they were correct. She packed everything neatly so nothing spilled or got tossed around. A nice detail about her is that she was always smiling. Most workers at fast food places don't smile much anymore so that was a nice detail. Had a horrible experience here. Had to walk away from a $50 order because it was employee Samantha's last day and she was having a meltdown and I did not feel comfortable taking food from an establishment that would hire such a nasty, unprofessional individual. Why would I want somebody like that anywhere near me or my food? This lady threw a tantrum over sauce, tried to tell me what I was getting and marked my order as retrieved. She probably kept the food for herself, so she is a thief and a witch. Let's see what management says about this tomorrow. I will file a police report and a dispute with my bank, if necessary.
