I don't mean to sound prejudice or anything like that but this location is only good and amazing when the Mexican crew is working. They are always on point and the food is good. That being said, Tonight is the 3rd time in a row I come here within a month when they have other people working that completely suck. I walked out the first two times because the workers literally seemed to be avoiding customers and ignoring us... standing in the background acting busy. Keep in mind, it was no where close to closing time and the store was empty. Almost as though they were being lazy and over work for the day. I completely get it, Work is hard and tiring sometimes but still that's unacceptable, do your job. Today being the third and last time I come here. I finally decided to give WabaGrill a try on my lunch break. The manager helped me at the counter & I told him it was my first time here. He offered me samples of 3 types of their meats & a pork veggie dumpling. I thought that was awesome !! He was very friendly & also gave me samples of all the different sauce options. So I absolutely love Waba grill. I was extremely excited that this location was opening so close to my home. Unfortunately the service here is horrible. I have been here 4-5 times since it opened and the last 2 times my experience has been terrible. The young lady at the register is has terrible soft skills. Charles is great and very energetic! But the young lady Mia Faith is terrible. Has a horrible attitude . Talks to you like there's a million other places she would rather be than working at Waba grill. This spot just opened up and I'm so happy to have it in the area. We're not a "fast food" family, so having a place near home that has yummy bowls with rice, chicken/steak/shrimp and veggies is so welcomed. The staff was incredibly friendly, the place was spotless, and the food was hot and delicious. We ordered a steak and chicken bowl with brown rice and veggies, a spicy chicken and veggie bowl with white rice, and a mini chicken bowl with white rice (which was perfect for our two small kids to share). Everything was great. The veggies were perfectly soft but also crunchy, just how I like them. And bonus for the hubs - their hot sauce is actually hot, so was very happy. I forgot how much i loved WaBa until i came to this location. This location was clean, staff was friendly, fast service and this is by far the best chicken bowl I've had at a WaBa in a very long time. Everything taste fresh. AND when i asked for some extra WaBa sauce it was not an issue. I've gone to some locations like the canyon springs location that said there was a 2 sauce packet maximum. Would like to give a 0 star if possible but I digress. Every-time I come here they get my order wrong. Working in a service industry I try to reserve judgment and extend grace as I understand most places are understaffed and people are over worked. Today I ordered a Rib plate with brown rice. When I arrived knowing better from past experiences I check my order, of course it was wrong. That is not what bothered me, accidents happen. The staff proceeds to accuse me of ordering it wrong when I let them know. They told me I am only able to order this item on the phone. When I told them I did, they insisted I hadn't or that I'd ordered it wrong. Like I'm not well aware of the difference between using a phone to order and online. I'm on my lunch break and pressed for time and found it to be a nuisance to have to go back and fourth with them rather than them just fixing. Then the guy charging me for random items to make the difference and pretty much just guessing at a figure. This post is for Daniel. His impeccable service in spite of little to no assistance from the other staff is admirable. I arrived to pick up a very large order and even though there was a line, Daniel acknowledged and greeted me courteously and professionally. Daniel was eager to assist me with my order and for that I am grateful. It's very rare these days to find customer service help at retail stores who provide the type of customer service that Daniel provided to me as well as the others in line waiting to place an order. Daniel even continued to provide excellent customer service to an extremely rude customer in line. I don't condone rude behavior especially with service providers. So it was refreshing to see that Daniel's level of service did not decline as a result of the rude customer. Daniel's example of exemplary customer service should be the model by which all Waba Grill employees follow at this location as I have definítely encountered some questionable workers. Newly opened store in area so excited to have something new. Went a few times but the last couple the food was awful. The service wasn't good as our orders were wrong. Asked to correct. Then the meat wasn't cut we'd go to take a bite and a slab of meat would come up. The broccoli was darn near raw and so were the carrots and it was cold. Wish I'd taken a picture. It was also saturated in sauce so didn't have that healthy feel. Disappointing I don't like to complain about local business as we try to support but the employees don't seem to want to be there and the food isn't so healthy. So I've experienced this twice, where I'm having a late dinner meal from this location because it's sounds good and fulfilling but the quality of the food and the presentation was horrible and didn't look fresh. The chicken was not fully cooked the steak looked days old or as if it's been sitting for while and the rice had a yellow tint. The first time I didn't complain because it was just me eating and I could care less. The second time was with my wife and we were looking forward to eating dinner together and she chose this place for our meal and for us to not have eaten that night due to condition of the food. I called very frustrated because how does this happen more than once, the employee who answered advise me that the manager was gone for the night and said to call tomorrow to get a refund , now present day my wife went since I she was available too and the manager present made it even and gave me a refund and was genuine and gave my wife a meal to eat so that made me happy. I have had a few problems with this location before. The workers there are unprofessional. Caution when you have something delivered from this location. A few times they have forgotten some of my order and when you call back, the workers are rude and will not make the order right. Their answer is that we have to go pick it up, even though we already paid for delivery and a tip. they put me on hold put the phone down and then hang up on me and when I call back they hang up. I will not be ordering from them anymore. The only reason I do is because my family enjoys the healthier choice. I'll have to find another location. read more

My husband is on his way home with our food so I haven't even had a chance to try it yet, but have already lost my appetite and will never return to this location again. I placed our order online. As my husband was waiting for the food, he heard one of the employees say "I hate online orders like this." (He was the employee working the cash register and bagging up our order at the time). My husband was the only person waiting for our family's online order to be finished. Super awkward and makes me feel really bad about spending $56 here. My husband said the guy's tone was irritated and off putting. He also seemed agitated when my husband was checking the order after he received it. He also heard two employees in the back part of the kitchen talking about how Dominos is hiring and how they were going to go there after to apply. Honestly leery about eating this food knowing how outright unhappy they were and concerned with what level of care/ effort they are putting into the food/ cleanliness, etc. This will be our first time ever trying Waba Grill and this is a terrible first impression. I know times are tough, but I have worked customer service jobs and for food establishments and would NEVER imagine letting paying customers hear how unhappy I am with my job or their order. We will still eat the food and hope for the best, because it was a lot of money, but this has definitely ruined my feelings on this location for sure and gave a bad first impression of the company in general. If we enjoy the food, I might come back to add a star, but to be honest the customer service and attitude gave a bad of enough first impression for us to never spend our hard earned money at this location again. read more

Both visits to this location were not great. First time, I ordered the Waba bowl with white meat. Got a white meat only veggie bowl. Second time, ordered through yelp for take out. Got there a little early so sat to wait. They processed 3 walk-in orders ahead of mine before I asked for the status of my order. Apparently they were ignoring it. The ticket was hanging there but they kept processing new orders until I asked about mine. They quickly processed my order. No jalapenos available, Ice Tea out of order. Got back to the office to find they did not use white meat as ordered and forgot the sauce for the dumplings. I double checked my receipt and everything was ordered correctly. They did not pay attention to the details of the order. I hope this is just new store opening pains and they get things worked out.
