She eventually returned, handed me my bag, said, "Have a good day," and walked away without confirming that I had received my complete order. I had ordered an orange juice and a water, so I remained at the window rather than driving away. I waited patiently for approximately 10 additional minutes. I did not honk or knock on the window because I felt that would be excessive, and I assumed someone would eventually notice that a customer was still waiting. The only reason Aaliyah eventually returned to the window was because another customer pulled into the drive-thru behind me. When she opened the window, she appeared surprised that I was still there. I explained that I was still waiting for the water and orange juice that were missing from my order. She responded by asking, "Oh my, are you being rude about it?" I explained that I was simply pointing out that I had been left waiting at the window after she walked away without giving me the rest of my order. I understand that mistakes happen, and I am not upset that an item was accidentally missed. What was disappointing was the way the situation was handled afterward. I have worked in customer service for approximately 10 years, and I understand that everyone can have a difficult day. However, basic communication and professionalism can make a significant difference in a customer's experience. This may have seemed like a small situation to her, but being left waiting at the drive-thru for that amount of time and then being made to feel as though I was being unreasonable for asking about the missing items was very disappointing. I hope management can use this as an opportunity to address the importance of completing orders and maintaining professionalism when interacting with customers. This was, without question, the worst Chipotle experience we've ever had…read more We placed a mobile order for chips and guacamole (and 4 entries) because we wanted to save time. Instead, we stood in the restaurant while at least five walk-in customers ordered and received their food before our prepaid order was ready. So much for the convenience of ordering ahead. The restaurant itself was dirty, with unclean tables and a dining room that looked like it hadn't been maintained for a while. We finally got our order and drove home, only to discover the chips we paid for were missing. We tried contacting Chipotle customer support, but couldn't get through to a person. The AI assistant simply told us we weren't eligible for a refund, despite the fact that we never received the item we paid for. At that point, we had no choice but to drive another 10 minutes back to the restaurant just to pick up the missing chips. Meanwhile, the rest of our meal was sitting at home getting cold. Think about that for a second: we paid in advance, waited longer than customers who ordered after us, received an incomplete order, couldn't get help from customer service, had to make a second trip to the restaurant, and ended up eating cold food because of mistakes that weren't ours. This location needs serious improvement, and Chipotle needs to stop hiding behind an AI chatbot when customers have legitimate problems. We paid for convenience and received the exact opposite (and some stale tortillas, too).
