We have gone here 3 times now, and everything we've tried has been really good! Keep finding new favorites each time and everyone has been friendly and nice as soon as we walk in. I enjoyed the food and the service at this new restaurant. A hot pot is $25, bar b que $35. You select your ingredients and, for the hot pot, they turn on a table heater insert and lower a large vat of cooking liquid into it. For the bar b que they turn on a table flat top. When your ingredients are delivered you cook them yourself following cooking times on your menus. There is also a sauce station for you to select and prepare your own dipping sauces. There is an additional charge if you order an overly large amount of food which you must certainly do not need to as they deliver more than enough. YOU CANNOT TAKE ANY LEFTOVERS WITH YOU WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED. I personally think they deliver too much food and a lot is wasted. If I am eating out and paying I don't want to do all of the work and cook for myself and that is probably why I will not return. read more

Wow this place is so awesome! I wish I had gone before the COVID hit. We ordered delivery and the portion size for the hot pots were so big! I'm really impressed. We ordered the spicy pork and korean tofu hot pots. It came with rice, udon noodles, cabbage kimchi, and all the sauces. It was so filling. On top of it all, they delivered 15 min early. Tonight was the first time my husband and I had a chance to check this place out. At first we were the only ones there at 5. The server was very nice, even though I kinda knew how this worked here explained it all very clearly. My husband and I decided to do the ala cart option. I got spicy garlic ramen which has bamboo shoots soft boiled egg, super thin slices of pork belly. I had no sprouts in it. The broth was amazing, such flavor and spice I ate the whole bowl and drank all the broth. Yum!! We also got Gyoza those were perfectly fried food flavor good dipping sauce!! My husband got a beef rice bowl and wow now that was a flavor that I really want again. I am going to have to come back so I can eat a bowl of that!! This place is really nice! I love the decor and set up! My husband and I dined here during a quick lunch break, so we opted for the a la carte menu. We both ordered ramen-- I ordered the spicy garlic and my husband ordered the black garlic. The broth was phenomenal! Extremely flavorful, full of depth and umami. The pork was perfect and the toppings were fresh and delicious. The only downfall are the noodles are not freshly made, but the ramen was still delicious overall. There initially wasn't much broth, but they graciously gave us more broth when we asked. We very much enjoyed our ramen and will be back to do AYCE hot pot and BBQ when we have more time. My first Wabi Q hotpot and BBQ Restaurant experience. We opted for all you can eat BBQ. First of all, don't ask for banchan (Korean side appetizers). This is Japanese BBQ, not Korean. Unlike Korean BBQ where you grill on gas heated cast iron or aluminum and brown your food, here, they use an electric grill that takes 5 minutes to heat up and lined with a grilling paper. So your food does not really brown, more like "steamed," Which is hard to determine if your food is cooked or not, specially chicken, and it takes so much longer to cook. On the plus side, they have a "sauce" bar at one end of the restaurant where you pick and concoct your own dipping or cooking sauce. The food came in smaller portions but in the end was actually generous since it was unlimited. We had three refills. Oh they charge you extra for leftover food, like 13+% additional (that's real classy). The food was fresh and high quality and came unseasoned. The taste was totally dependent on what cooking or dipping sauce you chose. What could have been a pleasant dining experience became annoying with two boisterous boys (aged about 7 and 4) who were allowed to run around and scream like they were at Fun Zone. I think they were kids of the owner or the manager. The waitresses were babysitting them when they were not busy serving. There is no such thing as good food if there is no pleasant dining environment. read more

We had to try Wabi-Q now that they are open. Solid food, the ramen was on point, the bowls were good, not super meaty, but all four dishes made leftovers. The portions were super filling! The "spicy" beef is a nice level of spice where you notice it but it doesn't escalate too much. Website was simple, curbside pickup was smooth (call when you arrive), they also have delivery. Service was amazing. Young lady was our server, didn't quite get her name. Food was great! We've been eating Korean BBQ all over the U.S. From California, Vegas, Chicago, New York etc. and let me just say this is by far my wife and I favorite. We had the all you can eat combo, that's the Hot Pot and the Korean BBQ together. We did all the meats except for chicken (because we ate that the day before) and everything from the big shimps to the beefs and steak was amazing. Favorite part was their Sauce Bar, you get up and get what ever kind of sauce you'd like! They do use red plastic cups and plastic plates and plastic silverware but that's only because of the pandemic with I think it's a great thing to do. We also had their signature fruit drink and that was amazing as well. Over all a 10/10 from service to how fast your food comes out to how good the food is I recommend this place! read more

Seemed more like a family-run restaurant so I don't want to dig it that much, but for the price ($29 for AYCE BBQ) I'd suggest somewhere else, the grills are not very good, and grease kept dripping from the overhead lamp. The amount of time it takes to get an order of meat for hotpot or bbq is absurd. The food cooks quick so people are gonna want food fast.... if you're gonna serve people 20 minutes in between rounds then why not just limit people on the amount you can get? We went there today for lunch and received amazing service. We are very impressed by the kindness of the staff and the sanitation. We were given disposable plastic forks (the good kind!) and disposable red solo cups. They all wore a mask and had gloves on. They were truly serious about the cleanliness and truly cared for the safety of their customers. We ate Korean BBQ and all the food we had was very good and fresh. We would recommend trying the marinated beef, it is very flavorful and tender. We also recommend making a reservation because they have limited seating due to COVID-19 restrictions. I like spicy. This was beyond ghost pepper spicy. The food was painful to eat. It's an all you can eat. Aside from that, the premise is you cook your food at your table and it doesn't take long because the cooking liquid is boiling. You food takes 1-5 minutes to cook. They had dipping sauces on the side. The food was blazing hot temperature wise. You had to wait to eat. I didn't and burned my lip. I don't know if the perfumy spicy sauce killed my tastebuds, but none of the meat or vegetables had flavor. The cuttle fish, the pork, and the beef balls did. I may go back to try the bbq ( yes you cook at you table too). They have sushi and ramen too, but I didn't try that either. read more

my sisters and i have started eating here recently. the food is good. however, theres a few things we've had issues with. to start, they should invest in some reusable cups and pitchers because they are understaffed and don't frequently have time to give out water while serving multiple tables. theres usually only 3-4 people working in the store and thats okay. another thing, the grills they use are low quality. lastly, the main server (an older man who seems to be in charge or may be the owner) has been harassing us for tips. its happened almost every single time we've been here. the first time i personally cracked due to peer pressure and the second time it was my sister. thats not right, man. he'd make conversation with us like asking us questions to try to make us comfortable, then ask for a tip when we didn't. this last time i said no and he kept asking for a tip and then said, "next time you come here, i'll charge you 80% tip." he said it in a serious note but i think he tried to pass it off as a joke, but i didn't think that was funny. thats poor service. it's a shame cause this place was alright. read more

First impressions, the place was very clean. The food was fresh and decent, however was lacking in variety. I gave this review two stars because of the poor service. At the end of our dinner, we left an 18% tip and was then followed out of the restaurant because the waitress felt that we undertipped. We paid in cash and counted several times before handing it off to a male waiter. Shortly after as we were leaving the parking lot, a female waiter, whom we did not hand the bill to, followed us out and suddenly our cash amount was $20 short. She then had the audacity to ask "is this right?" and pressured my husband to fulfill the suddenly missing $20. To run a company, you must understand the customer is always right and it was very unprofessional. My husband and I just had our first visit last night. We went the all you can eat (3 rounds) buffet route. And the food itself was delicious. The good: - Clean - Wonderfully Marinated Meats - Interior was simple and elegant The bad: - The wait staff, I believe, were tremendously inexperienced. There are so many kinks they need to work out. It may not be easy, but their English was poor and the communication gap was fairly severe - especially after a mishap at the table next to us where a man was served a dairy product hidden in the dish he received even though they explicitly and repetitively warned the waiter and manager that he was extremely allergic. Didn't seem like it was received to the degree they should have heeded. *Along similar lines, we were sat in a timely fashion but the younger men running the tables did not explain anything to us. We had never done Korean BBQ before and the menu was extremely limited except for showing pictures of what could be ordered. We also did not know of the sauce bar until I caught it out of the corner of my eye in the back and asked about it. It tremendously improved the experience. - Again, there was no explanation for anything. Our grill was turned on by the staff, but I do not think they got it hot enough until we started pushing buttons ourselves, and the food started to really sear. Otherwise, our first round of food was extremely slow! The vegetables took forever to cook on a non-covered, no oil included grill top. So order the fatty meats and cook it first so you get some oil going to help the vegetables along... we figured it out. Recommendations to the place: While you have just opened, I recommend really honing the skills of communication to the consumers. Explain what this is, as it is not common in this area for many people (we had many couples walking slowly by us and even asking us about how we were doing it since the staff didn't explain anything to them)... perhaps add a paper mat under each place setting that has instructions for what to look for to make sure you know when your food is done and what the average cook time is for each food group? It was a very messy experience, and part of me wishes I could have something under everything to wipe up my space from the sauces spitting every where. Had I known the vegetables were going to take so long, I wouldn't have ordered as much and just gone the tasty meat way - which we did for our second and last round... that really expedited our eating experience. But kudos on the flavors of everything marinated!!! We really enjoyed the experience, but I hate to say we will need to wait a while until we visit again, as there are some major problems that need to be worked out for this place to really shine especially for the price.
