Ordered the açaí bowls and the waffle with berries- the açaí bowl was as expected, and the waffle and berries per my husband were alright. Short on seating inside so we found seating nearby which was comfortable. The food was made promptly. Not a lot of drink options unfortunately, and the service was pretty uptight, bordering on rude. It's Waikiki but...the service didn't impress me. Would try it again, maybe later.

Berry Fact: A true berry comes from one flower with one ovary. When meeting up with a colleague, she told me firmly, that while acai bowls originated in Brazil, they are a massive staple in Hawaii's food culture and considered a must-try, iconic snack there. Hawaii popularized the version widely found in the USA, adding local toppings like papaya, lilikoi, and macadamia nuts to the frozen blended berry base. And she recommended the best place. They frequently top the "Yelp's Best..." lists! I got to meet the gentleman behind the business, Cal. He's sweet, humble, and has a great personality. As for the waffle and acai bowl: It was spoonful after spoonful of tasty eats. At one point, I started topping my waffle with my acai bowl. It's that brunch combination that pairs warm, crispy waffles with cold, thick, and refreshing acai smoothie toppings that makes it oh so alluring. The combination offers a contrast in textures and temperatures and textures (fruit, granola, nuts, and drizzled honey) that makes it moreish. Just typing about it now makes my mouth become a waterfall. Pop in if you're in the Waikiki area! If you're not in the area, it's still well worth a visit if you're in need of some healthy eats and carbs.

Wow the food was delicious!! A little chaotic in the morning but the service was amazing. The staff was nice and they were very helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment is awesome and everyone was in a great mood[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] mood. The peanut butter and chocolate chip waffles were top tier. They top it off with ice cream, which I couldn't finish, but was a great side!! Seems like all waffles come with a side of ice cream! Worth your money!!

It's located at the basement of the Waikīkī mall. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's an open seating outside of the shop and it was very busy for a Tuesday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a banana and whip cream waffle and waited outside for it to arrive. The waffle was so worth the price, it was chewy, crispy, and perfect texture. It was worth the exploration to find it, we parked in the attached garage and looked for a sign that said where it was located. Use Google Maps to find if you get lost.

Delicious food, great vibes and friendly staff. The fam and I were blessed with this location by our Uber driver Rediet and he didn't disappoint!! Everything was fresh and proper serving!! Highly recommend 10/10

Berries and Cream. No whipped cream

This was close to our hotel so one day during our vacation, we came here for breakfast. We were heading to the beach after so we didn't want it to be something heavy. My partner and I opted to share the "Berries and Cream" with no whipped cream since it already has vanilla ice cream on it. It was good and light. At first, I thought it was weird to have ice cream on something like this and to have it for breakfast, but I guess it works out well. The staff was nice. They really get packed even on weekdays. Price is a little on thr higher side.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but this is the best açaí bowl I have ever had in my life, and it is not even close. It is also the best thing I have had on my one-week trip to Hawaii. Let me start by saying I visited this place two years ago and made it my mission to come back. Since my group of nine decided to book a trip to Hawaii, this was the first thing I added to the itinerary. And again, it did not disappoint. The service is top tier. The busser saw our large group come in and asked if we wanted to sit at a table we were eyeing, then cleaned it off for us and added extra seating so all of us could fit. The cashier was also very nice, and once your order is ready, the workers explain the toppings bar so you can dress your açaí bowl however you want (coconut flakes, granola, honey, chia seeds, etc.). I got the regular açaí bowl, and again, it is the best açaí bowl I have ever had. The açaí is thick and very rich, and you can tell the blend is real açaí and the berries on top are fresh. The topping bar is a great touch because you can customize it to your liking. It is sweet but not overly sweet or artificial tasting. It also takes a long time to melt, so you can take your time eating it. We also got a couple waffles on the side, and those were good too.

Can't complain about a combination of some of my favorite things: açaí, fresh fruit, and waffles! The service at Waffle and Berry was so great and they offer modifications which is great. The waffles usually come with ice cream, but we substituted it for acai for something less heavy. The best part was unlimited toppings including coconut, granola, chia seeds, cacao nibs, and honey. Delicious! We got the Hutch, which was plenty of food for two people.

You would almost think, it's tourist area and it's all over priced and not tasty. NOT TRUE. Food 5/5 Service 4/5! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance 4/5![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was hit, humid but it was fine and acceptable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cream was home made you can just taste it. Fruits fresh, grits spot on, everything tasted great along with the lemonade. It's freshly made! It is not the minute maid stuff around here. Service was great, when I was putting in the order at the counter, the girls were SO informative and gave me recommendations and explained to me about the dishes that are popular and some were tourist inspired items! I also wish I saw the GUMBO. I would have gotten that if I saw it!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor was cute all around with photos etc.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]this spot has plenty of tables for smaller parties but they made it work for us for a party of 6![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you for everything! I recommend this spot!

If you are in Honolulu, this is a must stop for the best waffles and fruit. The service and staff were so kind and wonderful. Definitely don't miss this place!!!

Waffle and Berry made it to the top 100 Yelp reviews. It was conveniently located on the same street as our Pearl Harbor pick up as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is on the basement floor, accessible by escalator or elevator.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables are first come, first serve.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You order at the counter, there will likely be a line as it is popular, and they bring out you. The menus is waffles and açai bowls. They have a side of scrambled eggs and sausage. There is a side table with topping, granola, honey, chocolate chips, etc. they do not offer any alcohol, but some virgin breakfast "cocktails". My friend and I split the berries and cream, getting the vanilla ice cream on the side to keep the waffle crisp, and a side of eggs and sausage. Everything was delicious. The waffle, despite the look, was not overly sweet, and with the ice cream in the side it was easy to add just a little sweetness. The waffle was so good it did not need syrup. The best waffle I've had in the US. Eggs and sausage were so good, nice savory side.

1/2 waffle servings.
Chris T.

We visited two days in a row. The 1/2 half portions of waffles are filling. We had scoops of acai and vanilla ice cream plus sliced strawberries, bananas, kiwi and blueberries on our waffles. A unique and delicious combination. Eggs and sausage are also offered as a side dish option.

Beautiful place for breakfast. Love that its Black owned. Mahalo

The food here taste so good. I had to try alot of things here. You place your order , have a seat and they bring your food to you. The service is amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is not huge... but big enough.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Get there early and you might not leave lol. Love that its black owned. Highly recommend.

Our waitress, Alyssa (sp?), was terrific - friendly, energetic, and gave great recommendations. When Alyssa came to take our drink orders, I asked if the mai tai could be made on the sweeter said. She said it couldn't but gave me other recommendations when I asked for drinks that are on the sweeter side. One of those drinks was the meringue di cerdo, which is a drink version of lemon meringue pie (my fave!) and it was perfectly lemony and more on the sweeter side. My mom got an elderflower drink, which she said was just ok. I got the Cioppino and quinoa cakes. The cioppino had a rich seafood flavor that I haven't seen in other versions of the dish I've tried. It came with toast with romanesco sauce. The sauce had a kick without being overly spicy. The quinoa cakes had a similar taste and texture to falafel and were topped with avocado. They were delicious but a little bit on the heavy side. My mom got the beet salad and the cavatappi with sausage, both of which were specials. Though I didn't try the pasta, I did try some of the beet salad. Beets were cooked well. We loved the crispy shallots. We were full so no room for dessert! Only downside was the noise as we were first seated but it seemed to quiet down during our time at Fete. Would recommend/return!

It was our first time dining here last night (7/11) and what a gem of a restaurant! Chris was our…read moreserver and let us know the specials of the day. He described everything with such care that it was hard not to order everything! I'd highly recommend a reservation as there was not an empty table the entire two hours we were there. The restaurant is on the smaller side so it can get quite loud but our table had great conversations and a overall lovely time. Appetizer: We ordered the konpachi hush puppies (apologies, they had a nicer name but this is how they were described to us) and they were delicious! I'm not a lover of fish, but these were so flavorful and the sauce paired perfectly with it. Drinks: I had the meringue di cedri to drink and it was akin to a lemon drop (10/10) it was sippable and lasted my whole meal. Husband had the Hana Koa Rice Breaker, which is one of his favorites as its smooth and pairs well with honestly anything. Entree: You will be missing out if you don't get the lemon risotto. I ordered it with the prosciutto and it may be one of the best meals I've had in Hawaii. The zucchini is done two ways in it: diced to be mixed in with the risotto and thinly sliced and grilled on top of the risotto. The panko crumbs on top really solidified the plate for me as top tier as risotto can get to be boring to eat after a few bites as they can lack texture, but not this risotto! Every bite was a journey and it was a very filling meal. My husband ordered the Korean steak and said it was better than some of the local steakhouses we had gone to. Our friend ordered the spaghetti carbonara and enjoyed it as well. Dessert: We were encouraged to try the Rocky Road ice cream and decided it was a must have when you visit. It was creamy, rich and delectable. We also opted to try the dessert special of the evening which was a Lilikoi cheesecake with a chocolate mousse. The cheesecake had a sour tang to it and the chocolate mousse partner with it to balance it out so it wasn't overly sweet. We loved it and I know in a few days we'll be craving this meal all over again!

Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. The smoked octopus was sliced in pieces that were too thick and a little too chewy and the andouille sausage and black pepper overpowered the dish. Ordered the bourbon and bone marrow mostly for the presentation. It was WAAAY too rich and needed more bread to go with it. They should've served it with bread that wasn't buttered because the buttered bread even though tasty by itself was just too rich in combination with all of that bone marrow. The dish needed more balance. The ice cream sundae was unremarkable. Would have preferred it served with a choice of hot fudge or the caramel drizzle and since it was plain vanilla ice cream they could've drizzled a lot more caramel over it. The waitress did bring us more nuts when we asked, but they were busy at the time and she was the only server so it took her a while to get to us, and the ice cream was pretty melted by the time she delivered. We got there when they opened at 5 PM and they had two servers at that time. The place wasn't busy so it seemed like they had enough help for the amount of tables that were being seated. An hour and a half later, though, one server was missing (possibly taking a lunch break) and the only server remaining at several big parties to take care of which slowed down her responsiveness to the other smaller tables like ours. The music playing in the background seemed to fit the environment and was pleasant to listen to. It's a pretty casual atmosphere. The prices for what you get are a bit on the high end. Probably wouldn't go back unless someone else is paying. We didn't feel too bad this time because we had a gift certificate which covered most of our bill. Maybe we were choosing all the wrong items and should have just stuck to ordering meat dishes, which they might be better at making (with a name like Livestock). You'll have to check this place out yourself and see if they do a better job with meat and if the prices for those dishes are more reasonable. I gave this place four stars instead of three because the servers were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was mostly okay (tasty enough and filling).
