We were looking for an early morning treat and decided on Waffles for breakfast. It's a very simple order waffles, eggs, chicken sausage, hashbrowns, and biscuits. This was my second time at this location. The waffles were amazing with the syrup and butter. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The hashbrowns were super greasy and undercooked and the biscuit was filled with cheap butter. All that went into the trash. The customer service is what you expect for 24 hours restaurant they need better music. The ambience is not a place for me. read more

Waffle House has really taken some major steps to improve our dining experience. The food isnt as greasy as I remember it and the coffee taste great. They have this breakfast bowl with steak, onion , cheese and hashbrowns that's the perfect fit for a hungrymans morning. Myself I add 2 eggs over easy, jalapenos and mushrooms. This place is the worse I've ever dined from ever. The staff aren't working proficiently to take care of the customers. Every single time myself and fiancé order food we wait 20-30 minutes on the order, and arrive to have to wait a additional 20-30 minutes. The employees will not acknowledge you and inform you that they are working on your order. Just tell you to wait. Took my family for breakfast on Memorial Day, wasn't too busy, got seated within 2 minutes. Food was not that great TBH. Price is not worth the quality and service. Honestly I wish that I would give this place zero stars. Some friends and I just went to this place about an hour ago. As I was sitting looking at the menu, there was a German roach crawling on the table. I got a napkin and squished it and gave the napkin to the waiter (not his fault of course). I tried to keep my composure because I was so freakin disgusted but hey, it happens; I didn't want to be the "prude" but at that moment when we decided to stay and get over it, there came crawling another one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!! How freakin embarrassing. We all got up and left and all the waiter could say was sorry. This wasn't his fault. Obviously it is the establishments fault for not exterminating!!! I always stop at this Waffle House on my way to PA! They are always packed(we usually get there in the morning or noon). Our servers do a great job considering how packed the place gets. First of all they are racist, I am in an interracial relationship and we ordered our food before 3 different tables and each table got their food first. The manager looked like she was addicted to drugs, and was so rude to my boyfriend who is African American when we checked in our order. They claimed they put ours in last because we both got all star specials and it would take too long. Which is no excuse we got there first. This is the Waffle House that I frequent 3-4 times weekly. They had A LOT of problems this morning. Upon sitting at Bar - Bobbi declared"I hope you know you are going to wait!!".It was a busy morning. I didnt have a problem but watching this waitress..I thought she was on pain medication or half asleep. Not only was her eyes drooping but she kept moving all over..but not getting anything done. She was only working the Bar..but no one was getting their food, drink..etc without issue. I got my coffee 20 minutes in..and a spoon 5 minutes after that. The dirty dishes stayed the entire hour I was there. I witnessed another customer loudly fussing with Bobbi and had to ASK for the manager who was at the cooktop and never turned around. In my opinion by keeping Bobbi even being shorthanded..Bobbi was more harm than good. I witnessed two customers give up trying to pay and left. I will return...but not with that waitress and when not busy I will ask Susan the Manager why she would allow all this to go on In Front of Her!...Cooking or not....MANAGE!! read more

Was very impressed by this location. I love waffle house as it is but service normally isnt something memorable but this one definitely sticks out and I had to post and give kudos. Very friendly our first day was a bit if a wait cause it was Saturday morning so definitely expected but very friendly hostess. Our waitress was Bre... very attentive, friendly, fast, efficient got all our order right, coffee cups were always filled and that says alot we always drink at least 4 cups and there was 3 of us. We liked so much we went back the next day on Sunday and she remembered us. We ordered steak and eggs again and remembered how we wanted them cooked, our egg style, our drinks everything. Food was delicious of course and hot off the plate. Very very impressed, we have come to purple raceway for 2 years and plan to keep coming.
