It's been many years since I have been in a state that has a Waffle House and I can tell you I wasn't let down. The customer service was amazing and the food was even better, super delicious! I will say the prices have increased, but honestly in this economy, what hasn't?! I do also feel there are a few more items that have been added to the menu, which is great. First time in a Waffle House restaurant. I came with some friends and was pleased to see this small establishment has sit-down service and a decent selection of breakfast and lunch/dinner options. My friends and I got a mix - one of us got a breakfast plate and two of us opted for hot sandwiches. I got chicken bacon cheese and was very pleased with my choice. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the sandwich was filling. The prices seemed fair and the staff was polite and professional. Clean store and it though it's small, we had no trouble finding a table. It was a Tuesday night, so it was pretty quiet. Easy to find, and convenient parking. It's a Waffle House, never will it be a 5 star establishment. But the number of 1 star reviews is wild. This has become my go to spot for the occasional post gym meal. Consistent, easy fast!!! You're always on point and it's always an experience! Personally, I think think the sausage is better than the bacon and the grits are better than the hashbrowns eggs are always fresh cracked whether it scrambled or over easy. I prefer my waffles. Food is always amazing. Only issue I have is that it's not uncommon to see servers on the late shift not wear hair covering.

Where do I start? We were seated at the counter in front of the dish washing area. Every other dish that came out still had food on it -top and bottom- and were still stacked. I pointed it out to Katie and she took the dirty dish out but left the one it was resting on. The Manager (I presume had no name tag) did the same thing. Some of the women had their hair down - walking through the cooking line. Employees were drinking on the floor and more than half of them were visibly chewing on the floor. I was first introduced to Waffle House by my sis who lived back East for many years. On the way to Estrella to play golf we noticed the sign on the freeway advertising Waffle House. Waffle House in the southwest. We had to come. We parked the lot. We went inside. No tables available. Luckily someone just left and the server was cleaning the booth. We sat down. Katie was our server. She brought us coffee and asked us did we know what we wanted to order. It seems most people do the minute they sit down. We took a couple of minutes and we both decided on the All Star Special which is a great deal. $12.50 gets you two eggs, choice of sausage or bacon, a waffle, and two slices of white bread toasted. Hubby ordered his waffle crispy. I requested light. We both got bacon. Three strips very meaty. The waffle was reminiscent of the waffles that my dad made when we were little kids. The coffee was very bland. Tasted like Folger. We asked for takeout boxes. We made bacon sandwiches with the toast. Served as our snacks later on the golf course. Service was quick. Ordered to go just before heading to the airport. Ordered Cheesesteaks hashbrowns and waffle. Nothing difficult. Came in 15min after I ordered and my food was ready for pickup at the counter. No issues. Goto the airport and ate our food at the gate. It was still good! My daughter loved her hashbrown but we didn't have any condiments packed. No syrup for the waffle, and no ketchup. But she still enjoyed it with salt and pepper. I had the waffle and I'm a low key disappointed in it. The waffles are my favorite part of the Waffle House experience. There is no place that make waffles like Waffle House. However, this order was not right. It wasn't the signature waffles that they are known for. These waffles were like, fluffy (too fluffy), like thick. They did something different with the batter. It was very different from any waffles I had (and not in a good way). This wasn't it. I dined here before a couple months ago and it wasn't like this. They were on point then, not sure what happened today. Omg why oh why can't vegas have a waffle house. I'm pretty sure you could be a millionaire many times over if you put one here. Everytime my hubs and I drive down to the Phoenix area we always eat here. It's not like they serve something wildly crazy or anything they serve just good breakfast food and pretty damn quickly. This particular location feels pretty new. There is ample parking and seating for what looked to be 50. The music was a bit loud was a bit difficult to have a conversation across the table due to the volume. Our server was extremely friendly. Always available but not hovering. I ordered steak and eggs and a coffee. The hugs got eggs hashbrowns bacon and a waffle and coffee. About 5 mins later here comes our piping hot food along with a friendly smile from our server. Everything was cooked perfectly. And our coffee cups never were empty. The bathrooms could have used a little tlc but nothing as bad as a gas station. And to my suprise you can buy a coffee cup for 6 bucks. I was completely tickled with this as they are thick and heavy and keep your coffee warmer than a typical cup. Plus I collect coffee cups. Our bill was under 35 bucks and our server was one of the better ones I've had in a long time. Overall the restaurant was above what most waffle houses are like, clean, fast and friendly. The place was packed- Located right off the freeway and close to several hotels in the area (including the one I stayed in), I'd imagine it's always pretty busy even without it being the weekend TS is in town. It's been a while since I've been to Waffle House, and I was surprised to find a dedicated host and a waitlist. I ended up ordering to go, not wanting to wait for a place to sit. I love myself some Waffle House. I always have. I don't eat their pancakes or waffles. Couldn't tell you what they taste like in fact, but they got some BOMB hash browns. Since COVID their menu has gotten really small, maybe since we are in the southwest and not south east. I dunno. I just know they didn't have some the classics they used to when I lived in Florida, but they did have them hash browns. Mmmmm. Hash browns..... I digress. This place wasn't too bad, it was your basic always kind of dirty store. Though they deep cleaned the floor while we were eating and that really nasty deep cleaning smell came up. I am not rating this experience based on the food, Waffle House is Waffle House and my wife and I knew what we were getting before we went there. Why I'm rating low is because between the two male cooks on Sunday night about 11 PM, they probably threw the F bomb at least 20 times just in loud casual conversation, as well as other curse words. A diner style setting with WOW food and great people. My reason for stopping in there was initially not to get food, but they helped me out when i was in a pickle when none of the other businesses in the area would. They helped me without batting an eye and with a smile. When i went back to my hotel room, i asked my brother in law to pick up some breakfast from them, and we LOVED it. I have always enjoyed Waffle House. I have traveled all over the US. And have been to many Waffle House. I always enjoyed the edge the severs have. The food is good and price is good. This location was no different it was clean and food was fine. But the server at the bar was more concerned with her phone than her job. I ordered 2 waffles recievehad to ask her to refill the coffee . Customers sat down she ignored them. She had to be told to turn around and that orders for food were ready. Where's the gravy? I looked all over the menu - even on the lunch side - but couldn't find it. I ordered two eggs w/ bacon and had them cover and smother my hashbrowns, but that just meant putting grilled onions and a slice of American cheese on top. My eggs weren't cooked the way I asked, but that just caused me to fantasize about getting behind the grille. I mean, what's so difficult about cooking eggs? I do it at home all the time. Half of the dining room wasn't available for seating (probably because of COVID), so I had to sit shoulder to shoulder with a guy at the counter. Food and coffee was good. Waitresses were clowning around and talking smack to each other. Very loud and obnoxious. I had to ask for silverware, then I had to ask for a knife because they only brought fork and spoon. I asked for sugar free syrup and they brought regular. A different waitress took my order, another one brought my food, and a different one refilled my coffee (only a half a cup). Being from Seattle, I've never had the pleasure of dining at "the house". Met my sister-in-law (also from Seattle) here @ 9am on a busy Sunday. Nice people greeting us at the door. There was a 10 minute wait when we arrived but it wasn't a big deal. The place was packed otherwise. We sat at the counter and Nhadie served us. She was quick, friendly and told us our options - patiently waiting for us to make our selections. For $10 we both ordered their combo: waffle, hash browns, meat, eggs & toast. I opted for bacon while she went for the sausage. Both were cooked perfectly and not at all greasy. I will ask for dry toast next time but otherwise, the meal was terrific. So much food I could only eat 1/2. It's a 24 joint and most ppl seem to be eating and leaving pretty quick. Bathrooms were clean and unisex. Had not been to a Waffle House in decades. But, my son and I decided to give it a try due to fond memories of many late night eating frenzies decades ago. Small place but almost full just prior to lunch. Quickly seated at a small table by Cee-Cee (who was the absolute star of our visit). Ordered some coffee and a couple of breakfast items, eggs, hash browns, etc. Order arrived quickly. Portions were very nice, definitely more food than other national breakfast places. Also fine in taste, hash browns could have used another 15-20 seconds, but certainly passable. Nice chat with Cee-Cee during breakfast. She was personable and took care of our needs regarding more coffee and just generally being an upbeat, nice person. She is an asset to the Waffle House. read more
