I usually love Waffle House. On January 12, 2018 my brother and I went in for lunch. When we sat at the booth closest to the kitchen we noticed a big, live, rodent. We waited for a bit to try and inform the staff of the issue. Since no one came out to attend us we left without being able to inform the staff. Flew in from NYC and had an overnight layover. The Waffle House was the only thing open near my hotel by the time my flight arrived. Having not eaten for over 24 hours, how could ANY place not be good?? Turns out, pretty easily. Slow service. Mediocre food. I had a patty melt and my husband had a bacon cheeseburger. Both tasted and looked like school cafeteria food.... So, so disappointing. Such low quality food. The hash browns that came with both meals were overly greasy. My patty melt came with bacon and it was forgotten. Maybe I should have gone with a waffle, but I was so hungry I didn't think it could tackle my hunger. Regardless, such a let down. read more

If you're just getting out of the airport wanting a quick waffle, I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS WAFFLE HOUSE. We (my girlfriend and I) just left this Waffle House location and we will definitely NEVER come back. We entered the diner and no one greeted us and we noticed we were the only people there so we sat down wherever and we had to wait 15 minutes before anyone came to ask for our drinks when there were 2 people behind the counter just talking and laughing amongst themselves. We were already pretty frustrated by that so we just ordered 2 waffles. We were still the only two people in the entire diner but it took them 20 minutes to give us one waffle and another 10 minutes to give us the second waffle.. The place didn't seem to sanitary and there was an employee walking by as we ate with a grimy bucket filled with black water. The employees there weren't kind at all, they actually made us feel rushed to eat so we could get out of there fast. Never again will we return. read more

This use to be our go to Waffle House .. Not sure what happens to this place. Service extremely slow so many complains from customers. So far no refill on my coffee for over 20min. Service is pretty slow. If you are planning to go on a Sunday be prepared to wait because it does get packed and service is very slow. Food is good majority of the time. The last few times I've gone with my family the food is very greasy. We used to visit this location very often because my son loves waffle house and staff was excellent they even knew us, but since the staff is completely different the service has gone down. read more

Place was filthy. Squashed roaches on the floor. Food on the floor near the grill. Service was slow. We went on a Wednesday morning around 10 am. There were more servers than customers and service was still slow. The food was OK. I doubt I will return because it was so dirty. read more

Maybe it's because I arrived very late, very hungry and very tired but these guys really took care of me. I had no flight and no luggage. I had already traversed most of the east coast trying to get home and my mind was a total blank. I walked in here and Angel could see I was just not having a good day. Avoid if possible, wait until you get into the city and try to go to another location. Aside from being super busy they had bad service, and they were super dirty. Our waitress brought us our coffee with no spoons she brought the spoons when we were leaving. Ordered waffles they were brought out before or meal. We were Sat by a window, and I couldn't finish eating because it was so hot, there was hardly any ventalation and sitting by window made it worst. I would like to review the food, but we never got that far. When we walked in, there were 3 customers at the counter and all tables were riddled with dirty dishes but one which we sat at. There were about 4 waitresses behind the counter doing who knows what. We glanced over our menus and decided what we wanted and placed our menus back in the holder. We waited about 15 minutes with zero acknowledgement from the wait staff. Finally we realized we were not going to be served, so we drove to another Waffle House across town. I never have a problem with the food it's my favorite place to go have some food any time of the day! But lord knows I drag in going because it's always dirty !!!!!! This is the third time their is flys at the table we eat today 4/11/15 around 2pm I went to go eat with my boyfriend and we sat in the last table before the restroom and all of the sudden their was a bunch of bugs from the trash flying around and I asked if we could be moved and they said yes that's fine and I said theirs a lot of flys around here and they said yeah we know it's because a pipe leak and it's waiting to get fixed ! Dirty. Both our orders were screwed up. Got scrambled eggs instead of over easy. White toast instead of whole grain, no onions in the hash brown. All were requested at the time of service. Waffle was like undercooked cake mix. During the whole time our party of six were there, the manager and ALL staff members sat at the counter and counted out their tips in loud voices. I remember going to Waffle House in Georgia and I loved it. I was excited and told my husband lets go. The food was def no disappointment we had the patty melt. It was great, we loved it. The waitress was very polite and made us feel welcomed. I was however disappointed in the cleanliness and the size of the diner. The place needs a make over with new equipment. Will recommend if you're around the airport and want a diner style experience with classic diner breakfast. Scrambled eggs with cheese, hash browns, crispy bacon, cinnamon toast cooked on a flat top. I walked in at 830pm and place was a mess. No one greeted me. I sat there for 7 minutes while two waitresses walked by looked at me and did not say anything to me. Something was burning so I watched a waitress climb on top of a table shoes and all to see if a machine was burning. I walked out. read more

Go here all the time. Depends on what time of day you go on what service you get. At night the tables are usually dirty while the waitresses sit right behind the counter doing nothing but if you go during the day its usually fine. Food is always good though. read more

On 9/3/16 my family and I arrived shortly after 12:40 am we pulled up to a patron less lobby. The workers were all outside on break smoking cigarettes. They returned inside 1 by 1 as customers started to pull up. We had not gotten out of our car yet. They came in and started cooking and nobody washed their hands. My husband decided to go inside and ask for a manager, a waitress wearing a baseball cap says there was no manager on duty. She apologized and said she would say something. I go to this Waffle House once a month when flying in / out of IAH - no real problems in the past but went in on Dec 25th after getting off a flight - only one other customer there - but all tables were filled up with dirty dishes - looked like they did not want customers- so we walked out. read more

While two employees (Briana and Giana) worked very hard the other employees (I guess managers) stood around and talked. Then they went into the back to talk more while the restaurant was full and behind smh. The only reason they got two stars is because of the two hard working young ladies that tried hard to do everything. The wait was longer than it had to be because of these reasons. read more
