Nothing beats a Waffle House breakfast! I had been craving a waffle so we planned a Friday breakfast date. I ordered the all-star special with scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, wheat toast and a waffle with chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Hubby ordered a cheesesteak melt hashbrown bowl with jalapeños. Everything came out hot and fresh. The bacon was perfectly cooked. Hashbrowns were seasoned well and crispy. We shared the waffle and it was the real standout. I loved the addition of chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. So much so that I barely used any maple syrup. I highly recommend trying this combo! Hubby's cheesesteak melt hashbrown bowl was delicious! Tender steak, melty American cheese, crispy hashbrowns, grilled onions, spicy jalapeños - so yummy! My go to spot once a month for breakfast. When they're not really busy I try getting with our favorite server London whom customer service has won me over. Food always cooked how we desire it. Decided to come back here for a breakfast for 1. The place was packed with people eating in and getting takeout. I was pointed to a seat at the front counter as soon as I caught the attention of one of the staff. The smells coming from the kitchen and the hustle and bustle of all the orders always remind me of my family road trips to Georgia. I ordered a chicken and egg hash brown bowl and a waffle with blueberry nougat and a chocolate milk. As always this location serves up this food hot and fresh. Ms.Joyce is the heart of this location. Her smile brings a pleasant greeting to all the enter. She creates a bond with the custo.ers that makes them want to return. The establishment is clean and well cared for. The team here enjoy their work, and it shows. At any time, you can walk in, and the jukebox is cranked, and they are singing along . Waffle House usually gets a bad rap. You would be incredibly wrong to say anything negative about this location. They are well staffed, and the food comes out fresh. I had the chicken and waffles this time around. Heads up, the chicken isn't fried. It is a pressed and well-seasoned breast. Tabasco is the hot sauce of choice here. Fresh sweet tea for days. The atmosphere wasn't loud like you might have expected for a crowded place, either! Our waitress Vanessa was very helpful and checked in on us often. The food was decent - good for the price you pay and where you're stopping at to eat. That being said, you could have better elsewhere, but you'll be paying elsewhere prices. This is the BEST Waffle House ever...and we've been to a few! We stumbled in on our way back from Florida to Texas and were so glad we did! The people couldn't have been nicer, the waitress attentive and super friendly and the pecan waffle was stellar! The rest of the breakfast was great, too...especially the raisin bread! Waffle House is Waffle House. Good 'ole breakfast food for cheap. This particular Waffle House is really clean and my food has always been cooked quickly and properly. They've never once messed up my over-medium eggs. The problem with this Waffle House and the reason for only 3 stars is the hit or miss service. Most of the time, it's a miss. We really don't require that much service: Take order, bring order, refill drinks. Sounds easy enough. It also seems even easier to me because every time we have been here, they haven't been busy. Getting a drink refill is like pulling teeth! There's one particular waitress here who is rude and dumb as a stick. As simple as the Waffle House menu is, she doesn't know it. I actually had to explain the menu to her and I even had to explain a comma to her. Yes... a friggin' comma! The menu reads, "Egg, Omelet and Steak & Egg Breakfasts are served with Toast, Jelly and Grits." She was going to charge me extra for the grits. What?! She then went on to explain to me that only the "Omelet Breakfasts" come with grits. What?! I explained the menu and as I pointed to the comma and began explaining, she literally snatched the menu from my hands and snapped, "I'll give you the grits!" What?! How is she "giving" me anything? The grits come with the meal and I'm paying for them. Wow! The ignorance of some people never ceases to amaze me. You'll get good food here, but cross your fingers and hope you get good service. If you want a drink refill, you'll probably have to get up from your table and go to the counter and ask for one. read more

There was no response of either. The rest of the other 5 employees looked up without verbal acknowledgment. We sat at the end table of the (7) seven patrons eating. After quickly deciding what we would like, two others of the employees stared right at us and said nothing. After (12) twelve minutes we got up to leave with employees looking on, still Nothing! I was visiting family in town and it had been a rather demanding week. Heading for the airport, I decided to stop here for breakfast. Being from the West Coast, this was my first time at a Waffle House and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, but the "southern hospitality" given by Joyce was even better. It was so nice to have a great, relaxing breakfast surrounded by friendly people who enjoy what they do. I will definitely recommend this location to others, and I'll definitely be back. Well it's a typical Waffle House just brand spanking new. It appears to have the the basic pros and cons of the franchise. They equip the tables with reduced menus...for what reason I don't know but know there are many more options than what's on that menu. Ask for the standard or bigger menu for more options. The staffing was more than I've seen elsewhere: 8 employees at midnight. My service was about a 2 or 2.5 but I observed my waitress give another customer -5 rated service. She was argumentative, rude, and condescending over a piece of cheese....yep, you read right! It was good to see that the customer was not having any of that and pointed out she was supposed to serve him. Anyway that did put a damper on the experience because incidences like that point to larger issues and prevalent such service. I've long wondered do Waffle Houses have shift managers or supervisors....certainly appears not. Well another store provides another option for the Norf-sigh-eed. LOL! Every Waffle House makes you feel good. The staff is wonderful. So friendly. The food is what you expect. I had a nice breakfast.

I mean it's Waffle House ... you come to eat, maybe talk to the person next to you and enjoy the moment . This location has the most soul, and I mean that in a good way . Staff is always friendly and welcoming , they remember faces and names and orders. I've never had issues with my meal, it's always cooked quickly and correctly . I'm a sucker for good sweet tea . Wonda, how do you still have a job? Food was good. Service was horrible. I can't even remember a time that I didn't leave a tip. Actually, I will give a tip. Train Wonda. She has no clue as to what a waitress should do. Normally a Waffle House your service is excellent when you sit at the counter. She was slower to begin with but we just figured she was figuring something else out. After we placed our order, we sat there for five minutes as Wonda proceeded to the back to have herself a drink of only what I would assume as coffee. No big deal right!!! Only if she would have gotten ours first. We had to ask her for our coffee when she came back through. She proceeds to pour our coffee from two different pots; we asked why and she said the one was decaf. I asked if half our coffee was regular and the other half is decaf; and she replied "would you like a new cup". Duh. Needless to say our coffee arrived at the same time as our meal. We also observed her walk away from another customer waiting to pay and also didn't finish our ticket out properly as another waitress had to do her work for her. I know what waitresses make and I normally tip up to 100% on cheap meals. I hope that she was just having a bad day but I am guessing from other reviews that there may be a bigger issue at hand. read more

After spending 5 days in Florida and seeing a Waffle House on every corner, we figured we should try it. The service here was really good. The food was fresh and good, but it did have that fast food taste, not a sit down restaurant quality to the ingredients. The waffle batter was light and eggy; we enjoyed that. Do not call this location to place an order, you are better off going in. They left me on hold so long that I had time to get up, get dressed and go there. When I got there, they wasn't even busy.
