Sad start to my day. I got here at 6:45 am, there were cars in the parking lot, but the doors were locked and the restaurant was closed. While I was there five minutes, at least five vehicles drove off, that would've been customers. There was a worker standing by the front door saying to potential customers in the parking lot, what are y'all doing, we're closed. One of the potential customers asked was she serious. She said yes, three of the cars drove off at that time. It was 6:50 in the morning. I left at that time. I'm not sure if they change the hours, or if they had a shortage of labor and had close the restaurant, but either way they were a lot of disappointed people that left. read more

Terrible place to go , me and my family of 5 walked from our hotel surfside inn , to go have breakfast this morning , my daughter loves Waffle House , well we walked in , there was about 7 workers , and two open booths , we were told we had to wait to be seated .... 18 mins had passed , they wouldn't even let us sit down for drinks or anything , it was absolutely absurd , and I informed the hotel as well so others wouldn't waste their time or money on this place !!!! On Sunday morning after a very eventful weekend in Orlando we stopped into Waffle House to have breakfast before heading home. When we walked in there was a sign in sheet and several chairs to seat while waiting. We waited approximately 15 minutes to be seated, the original wait time was 30 minutes. Our waitress was Celeste, she made eye contact and let us know she would be with us shortly. Upon sitting at the table I took an inventory that all the items presented were clean, fully stocked, and looked like the servers wipe them down daily, unlike other locations I have visited. Celeste came shortly after she helped us with our orders, telling us which were her favorites. I ordered the sausage, egg, cheese, and hash brown Bowl and a side of waffle cooked dark. The food took about 20 minutes to come out, but there was also a large crowd of people in the restaurant. I was thoroughly shocked and well pleased when I put a forkful of my bowl into my mouth. The food was very hot, the cheese was melted, and the eggs were lightly cooked and creamy like I asked. I went to use the restroom everything was stocked, clean, and neat. If I could give this zero stars I would. I stopped by this Waffle House to get breakfast before my flight (in which I almost missed) & waited about 30 minutes. When the waiter named Pamela called my name to get seated at the table that was right in-front the bathroom. I asked Pamela if I can get seated at the table that was next because I didn't want to sit in-front the bathroom. Pamela then decided to skip me, seating the next 5 people who were after me instead of just giving me the seat that became available next. When explaining to Pamela that I had a flight to catch and asked her why was she seating these people before me, she nonchalantly ignored my concerns. I then asked for the manager and explained to him what happened in which he agreed. This was very unprofessional and myself and my family almost missed our flight and was not able to eat breakfast this morning thanks to Pamela. I would not recommend this place! If being seated is based on the discretion of when the waiter chooses to seat you instead of proceeding by order then this business should not be supported. read more
