I had a pretty bad time at this resturant. I ordered something small and my waiter told me i needed to eat more. He got too personal with me and my grandma and he asked why i looked tired and i told him. He said what am i doing sleeping that late! He started telling me when i need to wake up for school. After we got our food he checked up on us 4 times! The other servers where pretty loud having their conversations. I would not mind coming back as long as i dont have him as my server. read more

I didn't really like the food at this one the waitress was a bitch and messed up my order a few times my cup was a little dirty and i dont know if it was just me but the table was a bit sticky. it took awhile for them to give me my food container to put my leftovers in i might not go back. I only visit this place at night. That's when the restaurant is clean and the staff is attentive. The morning shift doesn't bother to clean the tables off unless a customer goes off on them about it. I sat next to a dirty plate thinking someone would remove it. Never happened. The plate was still sitting there when I left. Didn't bother to move to an empty booth because the available booths all had dirty tables. Food is good except the soft and soggy waffles. read more

The food was about what you get at any Waffle House. It arrived hot and fresh. We also went during a non peak time and still didn't have an attentive server. The coffee is fantastic. The waffles are delicious. The random folks wandering in and out made for a slightly uncomfortable visit. read more

It's Waffle House, man! You cannot expect 5 star food or cleanliness, but you can get 5 star attention and service. We always feel welcome when we go, everyone is nice and friendly. The hash browns are the best, especially given that one can order different sizes and toppings. Greasy? Yes! But you know what? We don't leave with a stomach ache like we do sometimes from better restaurants, and we figured out it is because vegetable oil is not rich creams and butters and hidden calories. Portions are not huge, but adequate, and price is not really that great to be quite honest - the toppings on my hash browns didn't equal the price charged, and we didn't come out with a bill cheaper than our favorite Chinese buffet in Frisco. But here is the deal: if you want a decent, warm meal for a reasonable price and no attitude, at any time of the day or night, reminiscent of being back home at your favorite diner, then this place will fit the bill. read more

I have been to this Waffle House two times and the two times I've had similar experiences. The silverware is always dirty, making you wonder how clean is the place while ruining your appetite. The first time I went I got coffee and even though the cup was nice it wasn't too clean either. The second time I was there I ordered the covered hash browns (which is just hash browns with melted cheese) and when they brought the plate it had no cheese so I let them know, they took the plate, went to the grill area, grabbed a cheap cold slice of american cheese, threw it on top of the hash brown and brought back the plate. Needless to say, not only it looked awful and gross but I could easily remove the cheese since it was cold. Service was friendly and food was good, but I'm definitely not coming back unless they clean up. I'll probably go to another Waffle House. read more

I went here on a Saturday morning and breakfast was excellent. The bacon was crispy and eggs were perfectly cooked over easy. The only draw back was I felt like I couldn't really relax with my meal and cup of coffee because the place got really busy and there were people eyeing my seat. I felt incredibly unwanted here. The wait staff ignored us for the first 15 minutes when one of the cooks finally asked if we had ordered yet. He ended up taking our order. The order wasn't right when I came, but they quickly got on top of it and the older cook apologized. Really, I was the women that seemed to have more of a problem. I know that there are a chain of these in the south and you know, too bad there are none in California. In anyway, every time I spend some time with family in Texas, this is one of my must-dos when I go there, which is visit the Waffle House. First thing is that there are always people and it is always packed. My uncle took me here once about two years. I fell in love with their waffles and hash browns. They are the best and I think in most instances better than some of the joints here in the west coast. The service is excellent and they are always checking on you to see if the food is good and if the service is good. The waitress there, which I think her name is Doris. I think she has been there for a long time and she is always very nice and sweet. I think she is one of those waitresses that love people and there should be people like her in all restaurants. In any case, it is a MUST if you are anywhere in the South. I want to plead that they should put one here in California, and I know it would become a new sensation!! read more

Terrible service and filthy restaurant. It appeared as though everyone there was cooking and no one was focused on taking care of customers. Trash and food on floor in the kitchen. Really? Four of us stopped in after a day of riding and were starving. Took forever for older long curly headed guy to take our order, then food was all wrong and cold by the time we received it. How hard is it to sell breakfast? This location and staff sucks! read more

Food was actually pretty good. But, the service was nothing to write home about. Servers (and there many) seemed to avoid eye contact with customers for fear of being asked for service or to, at least, remove the many dirty dishes that were piled up all over the place. A professional on-duty manager would really help get this place in order. I've been to far better Waffle House locations than this. read more

If you are black, expect excellent and fast service. If not, expect to be ignored. We were the ONLY whites and BLACKS took priority. We sat for 10 minutes before we greeted. Another family of BLACKS came in and immediately not only seated but their order submitted. read more

Waitress waited min of 20 minutes after taking our order to call to cook. Food was brought to table cold & only one if 3 plates. I didn't go out to get this kind of service. Employees food was cooked first & I'm sure there's was hot or at least warm. Manager better make this right...he just said Ya.Ya.Ya...I walked! Worded experience ever. I will be contacting corp office. Especially. Since a colored couple who came in after my party got Thier food before we had even a portion of ours. I have been to this location twice and they were both horrible. The first experience was me and my husband walked inside the restaurant and tried to find a place to sit. Although there were plenty of tables available, none of the tables were bussed and cleaned. All the available tables had dirty plates still on them. We waited patiently at the front, and although the waitress looked over at us, she said nothing and squatted back down to continue her conversation with a table full of men that were "interested" in getting to know her more. After another few minutes, we tried to get another employees attention, but the just ignored us and walked towards another table to fill their coffee. At that point we just decided to leave and went to Denny's instead. The second time we went, we actually got to sit down at a table. The waitress actually acknowledged us and took our drink and food order without any problem. However, a worker came in all upset and said, "This is bullshit! Our manager is probably getting drunk again, we ran out of order books, and he was suppose to bring them here from the other store." Then he realized our order was taken and ready to be cooked. However the cook hadn't shown up yet for the dinner shift. He then cusses under his breath and starts our order himself. After he was almost done with the order, the cook shows up. He then calls out the cook for being late, and the cook yells back at him to "shut up, get out of my area". The employee then looses it and basically yells back at him, almost turning in to a physical altercation. Meanwhile, our food is still cooking. Eventually, the young man finishes the order and walks outside to get some fresh air. The food was cooked good surprisingly, but our waitress seems to scared to get near the cook or the young man to refill our empty drinks. We finished our meal and left her a decent tip, because at least we received service this time. I don't fault the young man for being upset or the waitress for being scared to be near the confrontation. However, this seems like very poor management. Food is fine. read more
