    Great post hunt breakfast!!!!

The staff at this location is always friendly, fast, and professional!! The AllStar is always the best option here. Bathroom is clean every time I use it , and the jukebox playing good music can always be counted on.

The waitress, Ariel, was amazing in her attitude, availability, attentiveness, friendliness. The food came out immediately and fresh and delicious and hot. The coffee cup was never empty. Plexiglass between the booths. I will be back to dine in, as long as they stay in place. Excellent breakfast all around.

He was too quick for me today

Let me start by saying that any restaurant that does not have paper towlels can not have more than a 3 star rating because it is ridiculous how many people do not wash their hands must they leave the restroom therefore there should always be an option for those of us who do wash my hands that touched the door without having the same terms as the ones who don't The service was great my order was taken very quickly the workers had great camaraderie between the 2 of them I food is delicious standard menu of course my favorite dining companion during his birthday week as having multiple restaurant experiences but this waffle with syrup ice definitely one of his favorites for this week a little many baquet's turn enough to be OK

En route to Florida from Texas and after several road delays found ourselves in Shreveport at…read morelunchtime. A quick look at Yelp showed Strawn's Eat Shop listed at number one in diners locally. The inside is a mix of old timey and funky with lots of creative murals painted on the walls. We quickly received our drinks and ordered. Our waitress was outstanding but I didn't get her name. Our food was soon there and we dug in. My chicken fried steak was good but the mashed potatoes and cornbread were the stars. I'm not a big fan of salad or green beans but they were pretty good for vegetation. My wife enjoyed her catfish basket. She prefers cornmeal on catfish over flour breading and was pleased with the crispy cornmeal and the generous portion. Now for the main event. Pie! Strawn's is known for their strawberry pie and for good reason. It was the best strawberry pie that I have ever eaten. The whipped cream topping was transcendent and paired perfectly with the strawberries. My photo does not do this pie justice. My wife went with coconut pie and while it was very good the strawberry was the winner. Looking forward to returning to Straw's Eat Shop in the future.

Normally the service is fast and accurate. The eggs and meat were over cooked and the potatoes were well undercooked. Normally the meal is better. Couldn't send it back because the server never returned to the table. I won't return any time soon.

Some places don't just feed you -- they stay with you…read more Today I walked into this little restaurant and instantly felt at ease, like it was already familiar somehow. The room was beautiful in a quiet, elegant way, thoughtfully put together, warm and welcoming. And the people... every single waitress greeted us with kindness, but Miss Tammy -- oh, she was something special. The kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. So sweet, so genuine, the kind of service you don't forget. The food came out and from the very first bite, it was clear this was a place that cooks with love. The eggs, the omelet, the French toast -- everything tasted like comfort. And then there was the millionaire bacon -- perfectly caramelized with brown sugar and just a touch of chili flakes. Sweet, smoky, with a gentle heat that teased your taste buds like heaven. Absolutely unforgettable. The portions were generous in the best way, and the prices were more than fair, especially for a breakfast that leaves you full and happy. But listen... the coffee. That coffee wrapped around you like a warm blanket. And then came the meat pies -- crispy, flavorful, absolutely unforgettable. Paired with those potatoes -- golden and crisp on the outside, soft and tender on the inside -- perfectly made, just the way they should be. The owner was there today too, sitting with friends, laughing and enjoying himself, and somehow that made the place feel even more real -- like you were stepping into a slice of everyday life, not just a restaurant. If you're looking for a true southern breakfast, a place with heart, warmth, and soul -- this is it. This is where you go when you want to feel something, not just eat. We'll be back. Without a doubt. And Miss Tammy -- thank you. You made the day brighter than you know.

Ordered our food at that time. We checked in at the 40 minute mark and come to find out that our food still wasn't ready. Apparently the waiter put the order in on the wrong name - so that had to be fixed. And then when it was fixed they had a large party in front of ours that needed to be prepared first before ours. Needless to say we have now been sitting in this restaurant for over an hour with a cup of coffee and no food. If you want a quick breakfast spot, this is not the place. I would not recommend coming here with children because I cannot imagine them waiting patiently for an hour for breakfast. I have yet to receive our food even after writing this long review. But any place where you have to wait this long to get some eggs and a pancake I cannot recommend.
