I had a long wait time just for sausage gravy and biscuits with a side of eggs and cheese. I received my eggs and they was good my biscuit and gravy wasn't good at all. The biscuits was burnt and covered in gravy I spoke to the store to get it resolved I returned the food and left empty handed I'll never go back and don't recommend this place at all. read more

The waitress, Ariel, was amazing in her attitude, availability, attentiveness, friendliness. The food came out immediately and fresh and delicious and hot. The coffee cup was never empty. Got the food to go. It's right off the main road near Brookshires. Service was quick and we had our to go food within 7 minutes which was great. It was also clean which was a plus. Here I am. Slightly tipsy and looking for a good meal when I was blessed by the local Waffle House. Walking in originally, it took them a few minutes for us to be waited on but even then everyone was friendly and very welcoming. When our waiter did get our order it was out within minutes and with it, coupons for 10% off our next order. I love waffle house. It's always nice especially on a cold day. Hot chocolate or Hot Coffee.. A nice bit of breakfast to eat. Warm and comforting with a nice little jukebox that can play music if you like. Nice friendly staff and a warm little restaurant with a homey tightly connected feel. My visit here was 100% positive from the moment I stepped out of my car. The door man (Bo) greeted me from across the parking lot and had me smiling and in a good mood before I ever walked in the door. The restaurant was at capacity so I had to wait to be seated. But as soon as someone got up to leave, Bo was there again to help bus the table in order to get me seated quickly. The food was served hot and tasted GREAT! The waitress (Carey) was friendly and attentive. When we left, Bo again held the door for us and thanked us for our visit and said "Come back to see us again some time if you get the chance". And I guarantee you I will. I have eaten at several Waffle House restaurants around town...but this one is by far the best. I was impressed by the cleanliness. While we ate, I watched Bo bustling around the dining area with a broom and dustpan sweeping up every crumb he could find on the floor...then cleaning fingerprints off the glass doors. My visit today was horrible. My food was fine but my server Courtnee has a problem with women obviously. I'm a regular customer she didn't know and she decides to have a sassy attitude and not to mention mess up half my order. She slammed my ticket on the table I stopped her and ask for the manager. The manager wasn't there so she wanted to loud talk me and yell at me in front of other customers. I called corporate office and talk to the manager over the phone. That's just a quick sum of what happened. But But fell provoked and I wanted to go far off on her so bad I filed my complaint and continued with my day. Out of all the waffle houses in Shreveport this Waffle House is the best. The people are friendly, and from my experience they make the best food. One morning I went to the Waffle House in Bossier City on Old Minden Road and I just could not believe the service they were so ghetto. Instead of taking my order they stood around and talked and laughed, as I sat and waited for my food which was already ready and sitting getting cold. I told them I hope that's not my food sitting there getting cold and then she had the audacity to say oh is that your food. I will never go back there.! read more
