    Blueberry waffle

I love me some Waffle House, it's 24 hours, the food is good and cheap and they have coffee! Haha I got a blueberry waffle, it wasn't very appealing but it was good and had good blueberry flavor. The menu was misleading though it said blueberry compote and This definitely wasn't compote. Maybe dried blueberries. Coffee was good and our egg plate were good and made right. Service was quick and friendly. Late night crowd, usual loud people. Not too busy. I will definitely continue to go back to Waffle House!

I had a good experience at Waffle House! My order was prepared quickly, and the waiter was very attentive. The food was delicious, and the price was very reasonable at around $10-11. Thanks again for the excellent service!

There was hair in my waffles there was a dreaded hair lady making the waffles she had no hair net on and they just gave me 8 dollars of I should've had a free meal!

PLEASE SUPPORT THIS WAFFLE HOUSE! We don't want to lose it. Our local NASA 1 location reopened 22 December 2023 after several months closure for renovations and due to local highway construction. Business has yet to rebound; in part, due to continued construction. Great staff. Many have been there for many years. Food's good. Our fave WF in the area. Second, would be on Spencer in Deer Park at Center Street.

They had a lot of daily specials to choose from. We both ordered from the brunch menu. I ordered The Alamo. I've been wanting to try Main St. Bistro, so when my sister suggested it for Easter, I was down. We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). We got there around 1:00 on Easter Sunday & didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. A man took our drink order. My brother-in-law asked to go ahead & order two appetizers. Our waitress, Natalie, came shortly after, introduced herself & confirmed the appetizers. We were brought 4 small cubes of banana bread, which felt weird since there were 7 of us. My toddler & my niece both had a whole one. The other two were split between 4 adults. My brother-in-law didn't have any. The appetizers came out fairly quickly & were gone just as fast. We finally ordered right at 2:00 after a little wait & indecisiveness. Then my son was done sitting in a highchair. My husband and brother-in-law took the kids outside. They played for a bit & walked two laps around the whole strip center. They came back, still no food. My son had a complete meltdown since he was both hungry & now tired, my brother-in-law asked if there was any way they could just rush my son's food. They did and he started eating, everyone was so hungry that they had some bites of his food as well. My mom went to ask the manager if our food was close to being ready. The answer was no, there was a whole list of orders ahead of ours. The manager was kind enough to bring us some spinach dip & apologized for the wait, explaining she was dreading today because the kitchen wasn't equipped for the Easter crowd. She assured us that they were working as fast as possible & we appreciated her honesty & effort. My mom went to her car & asked us to let her know when her food came. Our food finally started arriving at 3:17, and not all at once. My sister's meal came last. By this time my son was done & was getting restless while we had JUST started eating. The food itself was disappointing. My sister and I both ordered Benedicts. Mine (Boudin Benny) wasn't hot and was mushy instead of seared. Both of our poached eggs were undercooked. My sister's also had a large amount of cream cheese that wasn't listed and didn't taste good. Other issues: my mom's fries were cold, my brother-in-law said his chicken fried steak was no good. He ate it because he was hungry, and while my husband liked his sandwich & was happy with it, his fries were cold. My niece enjoyed her burger. My son's shrimp, fries, & macaroni were all hot and good... likely because they were rushed for him. It was 3:45 by the time we left. They close at 3. We received a 40% discount, but there was also a 20% automatic gratuity added, which some in our party didn't expect. Here's where they earn stars back... Natalie was great! She took great care of us & kept apologizing for the delay. We could tell that she felt bad, but it was not her fault. The manager also came by checking on us multiple times & got us settled as best she could. She brought us spinach dip while we waited & she made sure that my toddler got food very quickly after being asked about it. She did thank us multiple times for our kindness & patience. As did Natalie. I too, was appreciative of the kindness they showed us. Most of us have all worked in food service before & we understand that the wait staff can only do so much. We also understand being slammed in the kitchen & how fast paced they have to work in order to handle rushes. I appreciate the 40% discount... 20% after the tip. This review was based on one trip & I will update my review if/when I return. But this visit was definitely not a great experience & if it weren't for the kindness, I'd be leaving one star.

We were highly disappointed in the taste and quality of all food we tried. The crab pies, for example, were all dried pastry with little to no taste or filling. It is not a place to go sit down to eat--maybe 3 tiny tables in the whole place. So, we decided to give them a try. Kudos to them for adding signage and grabbing my attention. We went for lunch. I ordered the Catfish basket and upgraded the fries to a cup of gumbo. My personal experience with Cajun food is that it is normally slightly spicy and packed with flavor. I did not find the fried catfish to be spicy at all. Not even a little spicy. The catfish was fried perfectly but lacking in spice and was slightly bland. Same thing with the gumbo. No spice but prepared well. The hushpuppies were pretty good. So, if you like the taste of Cajun food and prefer very little spice, this is the place for you. I however, prefer more flavor and spice hence my 3-star review. I hope this helps. Bon appétit, y'all.

I asked about one of their entrees I saw on the menu that seemed relatively new but defaulted to my fav- the blackended salmon! I was given a complimentary honey butter croissant while I waited for my order (which by the way was scrumptious). Order came out swifty and was a picture of perfection! Apologies that I didnt take a picture of my entree but not eating breakfast, a Yelper was hangry! Rice was cooked to perfection along with the salmon. They're consistent at every Cheddar's location I've tried - which is only 3 or 4. They have delicious croissants and they used to have a wonderful bread pudding made from said croissants. They don't have that anymore, but they should definitely bring it back because it was *chef's kiss* fantastic! I took off one star because it seems as though every time I've been here, there gets to a certain point in the meal when drinks stop being refilled and you see your server less and less, making it hard to get one last drink or your check so you can get going. Other than that, it's been good experiences all the way around.
