Quaint little market perfect for parent who is elderly to get to. Everyone is friendly cordial and willing to assist. Their Christmas wreathes were spectacular oppulent and well priced. The parking lot is somewhat oddly configured and you cant pull fully around the building. Sure to confound many elderly who frequent.....perhaps more attentions to parking would be more responsive. read more

I bought a groupon for a Christmas tree and decided to try it out. The tree quality has an inverse relationship to its size -- meaning that the taller trees (over 7 feet) were much drier and older to the small trees. Thank goodness I only spent $40 for a tree. I would never have spent $80-$120 for one of their trees. The interior of the tree was actually dead/completely brown on the first tree so we brought it back and picked a different tree. Wagon Wheel, however, put the tree back on the lot for sale. Ethically, I don't think that was the right thing to do. Coincidentally, I went to a holiday party later that week and the hostess had had a similar bad experience with a Wagon Wheel Christmas tree a few years ago and threw her tree outside and bought one for the inside from Rousseau's. I love this place! I always go there to get my produce. It is fresh and lasts much longer than grocery store bought produce. They have a great selection and it is not overwhelming like the other farm stands in the area. I also love their chicken salad and egg and potato salad! Whenever we are going on a hike we get our sandwiches from Wagon Wheel and they are delicious. Their prices are great. I walk out with so much product and feel like I got a great deal! Although it was almost three years ago, they did the flowers for my wedding and they came out beautifully. My flowers were off season but they got them and did a wonderful job. All the staff is polite and courteous. I highly recommend Wagon Wheel! read more

According to Facebook they would like my review so here it is... The good: Boars head deli meats, awesome homemade soups, local breads and desserts. Chances are you will run into papa John who is the greatest and always handing out samples of their produce. The bad: went to 4 years of college around here and for the area prices are too high on most produce. I was getting about 2 sandwiches a month for a while here, same one everytime and everytime it was made wrong. Quit coming here because it's not worth the wait to have to come back in and have it made correctly (only wanted no mayo on my pilgrim). I would receive the sandwich and check with the staff member to make sure it had no mayo and was always assured it did not. Best sandwiches when made correctly but I had to quit going due to frustration. Even concerns voiced to managers and on their Facebook were brushed off as one time mistakes but this was a biweekly mistake. Question is this...if you cannot properly prepare food made to order then what is the chance someone with an allergy will receive food unsafe for them to eat? read more

Nice place to pick up a meal to go before 7 pm. Got a Greek salad with chicken. The salad components were fresh, crispy and tasty--cherry tomatoes and cucumbers that actually had flavor, not just bland chunks--Also generous amount of feta and Greek olives--not just one olive for decoration. The fact that this place is a farm stand too helps with the quality and freshness. We also got a chicken parmigiana sandwich--moist, tender and delicious. On previous occasions, I've also ordered their deli sandwiches which are very good too. Nice farm stand and small selection of groceries available too. Very friendly service. read more

Earlier today I had the worst experience in the parking lot of the Wagon Wheel. After buying a few plants and loading them up in the car, minding my own business, I got in. At once, I started to hear beeping coming at me, and then I realized that somebody with a tractor was driving towards my car. He stopped short of me, but I didn't appreciate the beeping when I was already pulling out of my parking space anyway to leave. In addition, I looked at the tractor driver (this was between 2-3 pm in the afternoon), and he was pointing at me?? As if I was doing anything wrong which I was not, he was the one acting like a RUDE disrespectful animal, an un-professional so called "worker". I pulled out, and he was still beeping at me, I am not sure what his problem was, but I feel really bad for him. This worker should be reprimanded since I wouldn't expect disrespect for no reason, no one deserves that, especially from one of the workers! I don't want this to happen again to me or anyone else period. This is not the way to treat customers, and I warn anyone who parks here, to have your guard up, even if it is not conducive to a healthy shopping experience. I won't come back here unless I feel comfortable, and I have told multiple people (and there are plenty of other farm stands). Everyone deserves to feel comfortable!! To the driver: you have no right to mistreat ANYONE, so just don't. It seems pretty simple. Learn to be civilized in the modern era, and not be a caveman. Society will thank you. read more

We live in Western MA and came out to Lexington to see the pediatric dentist across the street. Stopped in to have a sandwich on our way out. Holy hell, that was the best sandwich I've ever had! I can't stop talking about it! We have to come back out for a follow-up at the dentist next week and I'm referring to that day as "sandwich day!" Three more days until sandwich day! My husband and I purchased our first real Christmas tree from Wagon Wheel. We were in and out in less than ten minutes. A tree caught our eye very soon after arriving and someone was there right away to help us get it ready to take it home. The price of the tree seemed reasonable and we were able to have the tree up for several weeks before and after Christmas. Overall we had a great experience and we will be back. read more

Wagon wheel has the absolute best sandwiches! I can't even count the amount of times I have been here. They are fresh and made to order! I usually call ahead and just walk in and pay to save some time. Meat is fresh, veggies are fresh, and bread is delicious. Prices are reasonable. $7.99 for a large! I need to go on the record with my experience with the landscaping services group at wagon wheel. I had been trying all spring to get some quotes on some significant landscaping for the front of my property in Westford. After weeks of missed appointments, promised quotes which never materialized and no call backs, I was so frustrated that I had pretty much given up on the project. A friend put me in touch with Jim McManus salesman and horticulturist for Wagon Wheel. Jim called me back immediately, set up and appointment, and actually showed up. Next day I had a sketch inside my front door. Day after that I had a quote. The following day Jim came back and we negotiated a price. We met at the garden center to pick out shrubs. The following week the work started and was completed in 4 days. It turned out great. ( many compliments from my friends and relatives) The crew was great especially the young man who was the foreman (Manny). They showed up on time worked right through the heat wave, and were polite, and informative. I would recommend Wagon Wheel to anyone who would like to deal with honest, responsive and knowledgeable craftsman. A very enthusiastic five stars. read more

My neighbors have hired Wagon Wheel to take care of their lawn and bushes. I work from home, so every time I watch them come over, talk on their cell phones, sit on the wall, and worse, use the the leaf blowers for anything but lawn work. Today I watched the guy blow water up and down the sidewalk for 20 minutes! When I have asked them what they are doing, they say they have to stay at each job for a certain amount of time, no matter how long the job actually takes. So basically, if you are a customer, you are paying lots of money for them to sit on your wall or blow water around until the time is up. read more

Outstanding chow cleverly disguised as a plant nursery. And it's a legitimate plant nursery as evidenced by the loaded pickup trucks coming and going from the back lot. I thought yelp was confused sending me here to eat, but, sure enough, there's an excellent deli inside. They were efficient and friendly. I ordered a chalkboard sandwich special with SPICY chipotle BBQ sauce, and it rocked. It looked like they had great produce aisle, too, but I was in a hurry to get to my sandwich! read more

Stay away from the Tuscan sandwich in particular. Tasteless bread, mozzarella that resembles cardboard, the standard nasty, cold, sorry-excuse for a tomato, and very crappy prosciutto . $8. I dumped mine on their front terrace it was so inedible and I was so pissed. What the hell is Tuscan about any of those ingredients anyways? read more

Went in to enjoy a turkey sandwich in effort to get excited about Thanksgiving. I waited to order at 12n on a fri. I told man who took order I couldnt have seeds on my bread. He said a braided roll which I had no idea of this roll. I assumed he knew his own job. I got on 128 S to eat my $8 sandwich to find it had seeds. I called to complain to mgr and apologized. Offered another sandwich but not interested in returning there. People should know their own jobs and while making the sandwich the seeds were very visable. A bid disappointment! read more

I don't know what I would do without Wagon Wheel in my neighborhood. I sometimes go for over a month without visiting the supermarket, and just get what I need at Wagon Wheel.
