I had a really good experience here. Is it the cheapest option? No. But overall, the vibe is great and the food is super solid. I've been here a couple times, and my visits are highlighted be how nice the workers are here. I've never felt out of place in a place that sells food that makes me feel out of place. And that says a lot.

Smoke Chicken Teriyaki Bento with Garlic Pepper Rice
    Jennifer K.

I always passed by this place in The Hangar, but I never got the chance to try it until now! I ordered the Build Your Own Bento Box with Smoke Chicken Teriyaki, Garlic Pepper Rice, Smoke Teriyaki Sauce, and Spicy Garlic Sauce, and a Matcha Moringa Soy Latte. The Bento Box looks amazing. There's sides of purple bean sprouts, cucumbers, and red pickled radish. There's also mixed greens under the chicken, along with a banana leaf. The food was great, the rice seemed popular among reviewers and it's popular for a reason, it's not too salty, and it's a good amount of garlicky. The chicken doesn't have enough teriyaki sauce on it, but they do give you a side of it which is great. The sides are all delicious and go along well with the rice and chicken. The spicy garlic sauce tastes like typical spicy sauce from Asian restaurants. They also give you a cute packet of Kewpie Mayonnaise. The Matcha Moringa Soy Latte is good if you're not expecting it to taste like a regular matcha latte. It's very sweet compared to regular matcha lattes, but you can still taste the matcha flavor. It's not too milky or creamy. The employees were very kind. He was very helpful when I asked how big the bento boxes were and what sauces he recommended. Wagyu Street is located in The Hangar which is a food hall so it's always pretty noisy and depending on the time and day, it can get difficult to find seating. I think I would come here again, there's a lot of interesting things on the menu that I'm curious about!

Amazing beef bowls. Totally underestimated them to be honest. The house bbq sauce is a perfect companion to the beef. Its basically a yoshinoya on steroids.. I wish there were more places like this. You can tell the quality of beef used as well

    American Wagyu Sukiyaki Beef Sub

Was at the craft fair this Sunday at The Hangar and decided to try this place out for lunch. The place was packed, but the line to place my order wasn't bad at all as I was second in line. The staff member who took my order wasn't very friendly. I ordered the American wagyu sukiyaki sub and was given a buzzer to alert me when my order was ready. The beef was very flavorful and tender. It came with some sort of purple sauce ( not sure what it was, but had a sweet/ slight spicy taste). This gave the sub a very interesting taste. 4 stars because my order seemed like it took forever and the burnt part of bread. Be prepared to search for parking if you visit on a Sunday. Parking was pretty bad, we parked by the TJmaxx and walked which was ok with us since our dog got to walk a little :) Seating inside and outside , but all Were taken so we took our food home to eat. I do want to try this place again , the sukiyaki noodles looks yummy

I got to try Wagyu street at the spirit of Japan street festival. The festival its self was cool but this was one of the stand outs. I got to try the American Wagyu Beef Yakisoba and it was really good. I do feel like it was missing a sauce. It came with mayo but I wasn't the biggest fan of. Would like to try other things off the menu.

1st time at LBX. I like Japanese food and this hit the spot with the ice cold beer I ordered from the bar. Kind of on the pricier end but I guess its wagyu and comes with sides. I come to expect pricier food from food halls anyway. The bento portion was enough for me. You order at the counter and get a pager and pick it up when its ready. It was ready pretty quickly, about 10 mins.

Such a tender beef tongue bowl. I had this with garlic rice and added a soft boiled egg. The server was not friendly and seemed bothered that I asked how long the beef bowl had been sitting out. Yeah it's under a heated lamp but I need to be careful what my child consumes. I should be able to ask without getting a sigh and eye roll.

Great spot for a quick bite! The wagyu was super flavorful and tender. Portions were just right, and the service was friendly. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Wagyu Beef Curry bowl (with an added soft boiled egg)

After some decision paralysis with a friend in the Hangar we settled on Wagyu Street as a probable safe option with just meat and rice. I'm glad we tried it because it was great! I got the Beef Curry Wagyu bowl and added a soft boiled egg on the side. The beef was tender as expected from Wagyu, in slices and strips almost like you would expect from Gyu-Don (beef bowl). The curry was rich, flavorful, and the right amount of saltiness to complement the beef. It is a bit heavy due to the fattiness of the beef, so just keep that in mind. I do wish the curry itself was served on top of the rice, but nothing that a spoon can't fix if you want to eat the two together. Rice was nice, fluffy, and just the right texture. The seasoned soft boiled egg was delicious and cooked with a nice jammy yolk! Definitely would recommend adding it to this dish if you get it. For the price, I thought it was a reasonable deal considering it was Wagyu (and the current price of eggs...). Would definitely consider coming back here next time at the Hangar!

Really enjoyed Wagyu Street! The meat was tender and packed with flavor -- you can tell the quality is there. Everything was well-seasoned, and the portions were satisfying without being too heavy. Service was quick and friendly. Would definitely come back!

    Grilled Tofu "Cha-shu" Curry
    Harmonie T.

I was surprised to see a few menu items marked as vegan when I noticed this new restaurant in The Hangar. It intrigued me enough to order the Grilled Tofu "Cha-shu" Salad though my expectations were middle-ground considering it's just a salad. I was surprised to see that it was more than just tofu on a bed of salad greens. It also came with tomatoes, large chunks of cucumbers, edamame, pine nuts, radish sprouts, and rice noodles. I was very pleased with the amount of protein and flavor. https://bit.ly/3VHE1jY On my last visit, I ordered the Grilled Tofu "Cha-shu" Curry. The portion size is very generous! If you love carbs, this came with so much rice. The amount of tofu was not as generous but still enough to fill me up. On the plus side, it came with so much saucy-sauce that I kept for leftovers, and ate with a new package of tofu at home :) https://bit.ly/4fjluRZ Awesome spot that satisfies my Japanese curry cravings!

We just ordered the wagyu sukiyaki curry udon and I don't think you can get this restaurant quality flavor anywhere else.

Got the spicy udon. Trash. Photos shows slabs of beef but I got barely any ground beef. Never coming back

That night I had a roll of avocado, seaweed and rice. It was a textural nightmare for me and I got sick after about three bites. That turned me off of sushi for good, or so I thought. Enter Kimu Sushi. Hus was craving sushi and found a place with vegan/vegetarian options for me. He ordered a few rolls and handed his phone to me and I chose the "Veggie Tempura Roll." I thought it wasn't a super big serving so if I didn't like it, it wouldn't be a serious deal and he'd likely finish it if I didn't. The order was placed and a bit later, it was delivered. I opened the packaging for the roll, sprinkled some soy sauce on it (I know now you're supposed to dip it in the sauce, but I didn't know) and took a tentative bite. Man. When I tell you I was so surprised, I am not lying. The crunchy tempura inside the roll was delicious. I not only was able to eat this whole roll, I really, really enjoyed it and I cannot wait to have it again! Thank you, Kimu Sushi, for rewarding me greatly for giving sushi another chance!

The lightly torched skin gives each bite a nice, firm textural contrast against the delicate, tender meat. The yuzu garnish puts it over the top! My other favorites are Striped Jack and Hokkaido Scallop. My friend, who doesn't really like eating fish, loves their Double S Roll (tempura shrimp & fried scallops.) The service has been mostly wonderful. We did run into one hiccup when we found some hard, jagged black chunks in the Double S Roll that we couldn't eat. They looked and felt like metal or charred debris, but the staff insisted they were black sesame seeds. Otherwise, the staff has been upbeat and super friendly. If you're looking for your next unforgettable bite, do yourself a favor and order the Golden Eye Snapper!

Its a small place, and it wasn't overly busy. Its likely that it was a slow night and server #2 appeared to be socializing with some friends seated at another table. In other news, I don't understand the hype over the Wagyu. In my opinion, it was oddly greasy but overcooked. No one asked how I like my steak - which is fine if that's customary in Japanese cuisine - but the end result simply missed the mark. However, I want to add that the owner was absolutely lovely! He made me a drink that resembled an Old Fashioned, and it was delicious. There are some herbs in it that I can't put my finger on, but I love it because it's not like any of the others. Chicken was juicy and rice was fluffy. I also like their kizami ginger which had a nice solid crunch. Even though it took me a while to pick up my food, it was still nice and warm when I sat down to eat it.
