The burger I had was dry and had no flavor. My 7yo complained that the burger didn't taste like anything. I got mine with a side salad and it automatically came with ranch, which I don't like. The server said he could get another dressing at a charge. I asked for slices of tomato for the kids burger and was told they don't do that. No additions are allowed for the kids burgers. So when I asked for extra tomato with my adult burger (for the kids obvi) he said the kitchen could only give me one extra slice. The fries were good, that's the only positive thing I have to say. Bottom line: don't go here. Shake shack has better burgers. The service here is lackluster and they are very inflexible and nickel and dime you for simple requests. We hadn't at first made the connection to the Wahlburg brothers -- Donnie, who first found fame as a founding member of the boy band "New Kids on the Block", and later playing Detective Danny Reagan on "Blue Bloods"; Mark, an actor, including films "The Italian Job" and "Boogie Nights"; and Paul, a chef, who created the Wahlburgers restaurant that would become the Wahlburgers franchise. Wahlburgers in Terminal C has both a sit-down restaurant and full-service bar, as well as fast-service area where you can get take-out for your flight. We chose the sit-down area. Food (4/5). We ordered: (1) Cobb Salad ($16.35; 550 calories), with marinated seared chicken breast, mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, crumbled blue cheese, sliced avocado and crumbled bacon served with blue cheese dressing; and (2) The Our Burger ($15.95, 700 calories), that featured a beef burger, government cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and Paul's signature Wahl Sauce. I get it is at an airport and they do have much of the feel of a regular location, but the service was lacking a bit. Located in terminal C of Boston's Logan International Airport this was very close to my departing gate. I had always heard good things about Wahlburgers and decided to give it a try. You order your food from a kiosk and then wait at the counter. I was there right around 6 PM so it should've been a pretty busy time. There was one expediter out front bagging up all the orders and two cooks in the back. It seemed that they would do a batch of fries and then tater tots and bring them to the window for packaging Our food expediter was quick and efficient and I had to wait no more than seven minutes for my food. The burger was great and the tater tots were just what I wanted. There is a large food court directly adjacent to the restaurant so there is ample seating. From there, it was a five minute walk to my gate so everything was very convenient. Made for a great pre-flight meal. read more

It is located right near the center of all the gates. It was early in the morning so I was the only one at the restaurant. They brought me water after I requested it. I had the breakfast sandwich, 2 eggs . American cheese and sausage. It was good but it was the only item they offered for breakfast. I had a salad to go with it. They used a hamburger bun as part of it. That is what you get at a hamburger restaurant. The salad was a couple of slices of tomatoes and onions with greens. The ambiance was chill although pretty spartan at the fast-food looking tables. The price was reasonable, considering it's an airport. Serving staff was friendly. However, be aware that they're not particularly allergy-friendly. I got the Cobb salad and have a dairy allergy. There was NO dairy-free dressing option-not even oil and vinegar or a vinaigrette. They also only had sweetened iced tea, whereas I drink unsweetened. And when I ordered a water instead, I was charged $5 for a plastic bottle of water. They should tell you upfront if they don't have tap water available. That being said, it was a great salad with fresh ingredients. We ordered the The Our Burger which is beef burger, government cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and the signature Wahl's sauce, and the other one is The BBQ Bacon Burger which is beef burger, white cheddar, bacon, fresh jalapenos, bbq sauce, and avocado spread. Airport food is usually terrible and there's no way around it. The food here at this Wahlburgers location is as good as it is in any of the airport locations. Service was fast and the servers were attentive. They took substitutions and made my fries extra crispy. And it didn't cost me $1 million to eat a bite of dinner at the airport. Tables in the floor clean everybody was neatly dressed. For a quick dinner either sit down or on the go at the Boston airport. It's hard to be this location. read more

I figured I needed one more thing to complete my Boston experience, so I stopped by on the way out. We were greeted and seated pretty quickly. We sat at a table, but they have a pretty large bar area that fits the airport experience pretty well. There's a QR Code to use on the table, but a server may come by to give you a traditional experience and just to make sure you're comfortable. I got The Our Burger since it's my first time and it looked like it may be THE burger to get. Gotta say... it was pretty delicious! Halfway through the burger, the wife (a former Boston person) asked if I liked the sauce on it. They missed that part of assembly, but it was good nonetheless. Maybe the sauce could've been a life changing experience. Who knows? If the server didn't forget our drinks, there may have been a fifth star. Unless you're at the bar, the QR Code may be faster for ordering, getting food/beverages, and paying. After a long haul flight overseas, we had a long walk to our connection and were starving and saw this place. Most airports you order your food and then go sit down. Not this place. Didn't realize they had separate "to go" and then sit down restaurant. We ordered food and then went to find a table. We asked if we could sit down and were told it was only for "eat in" customers. We were customers, we had already ordered food, so we asked if we could sit down any way since we were exhausted (we're not young) but were RUDELY told no, period. They practically yelled at us. This was my first visit to a Wahlburger although I've been meaning to check them out. I was traveling from Boston to Fort Lauderdale and saw BOS airport had one so I stopped in. They got me in right away which was great when your in a hurry while traveling. The restaurant seemed clean but all the servers seemed to hate their jobs. Every single one I saw had a face of annoyance and looked miserable. Working in an airport restaurant doesn't seem glamorous but you're there working with so many people so do it with some type of personality besides a "fuck off" face. This makes me think that management must be horrible if all employees seem to have the same attitude. Total turn off for me. I ordered "The Our Burger" with tater tots and an ice tea. It was okay. The customer service was fast, so I'd advise sitting at the bar if you're flying solo. The bar could use some under counter hooks for purses and backpack. There weren't any redeeming qualities about this airport eatery, aside from the fact that it was open. I looked up online to see if Wahlburgers has gluten-free options, & online it said YES. So we sat at the bar & ordered drinks while we considered our burger options. Once we had decided, we told our server, & I requested a gluten-free bun. No dice. Gluten-free buns are NOT available at this location. We were already sat with drinks, so we might as well see the experience through. So I instead asked for a "lettuce bun." What arrived in front of me was a patty on a plate aside a small pile of shredded lettuce. So sad. My partner received a decent looking burger & said it wasn't bad. Good enough. At least he had a bun. Then, our server told us that their shift was almost over, so it was time for us to check out. The server took my partner's card away to run it, & was gone for a moment. The server came back with his card. A few minutes later, the server returned to tell us that the transaction didn't go through. So my partner's card was swiped again. He noticed, at this point, that something was fishy. The second requested price was different than the first one. ($90 for two burgers & two bevs, by the way. Criminally overpriced.) He quickly pulled up his own CC statement online to find that there were two (& only two) recent transactions in the state of Massachusetts. One was at Wahlburgers in the airport, & the other was at House of Shawarma in Boston. So this situation is about as straightforward as it gets: Most likely, the server had walked away & used my partner's card to order themselves a meal for after their shift. To add insult to injury, we both were in serious discomfort after the meal on our flight. Whatever is in those Whalburgers did not sit right, at ALL. I do NOT recommend going here for a bite to eat unless you want to run the risk of CC fraud & also overpay for an upset stomach on your flight. read more
