I went the entire day at work with a migraine and went straight to urgent care after picking up my kids. At 5:30pm they faxed over my prescription for migraine meds. I got to the pharmacy around 6:15pm and they just saw the fax at that time. They told me that they'd text me when it was ready. It is now 9:05pm and no text. The pharmacy is now closed, so I get to be in pain all night now. I won't be picking up the 3 prescriptions when they text me tomorrow and I'll be getting my future prescriptions elsewhere. read more

Rude and unprofessional service. You don't place someone on hold and then hang up. Called again inquiring about the product and that I had just called earlier and she goes "oh my god" before transferring me again...as if I can't hear that. You can do that after the call is transferred and when you're not on a active call with a customer. read more

I come here because it's close to my job. Josefina gave me a Walgreens card. She is nice and very attractive but no longer works there. :( Alicia, on the other hand, is dismissive. She averts her look from me and once even walked away from the Health & Beauty register when it was my turn to come up. Even the customer who was ahead of me and had made her purchase said to Alicia as she began to walk away from the register "I think he was next." WHY do people like that even bother looking for customer service jobs??? Is she like that with everyone or just me??? WHAT is her problem??? I even gave her good feedback on the Walgreens customer feedback survey once, but after that, I had to give negative feedback. One time I purchased an item which had a coupon which I later found out from another employee that I could have saved with a coupon they keep behind the front counter. But Alicia never even bothered to use it when I made my purchase the day earlier in the week. Worse part is that Alicia is now a floor supervisor or something like that!!! Horrible service, pharmacy is always packed around 5-6pm and only one pharmacist on duty. Had to call manager because employees were giving run around on a certain product. Very disappointed on how associates spoke Spanish between themselves when I was speaking English. Will make the drive to the one on I st if I ever need to visit a Walgreens again. read more

Beware of this store. I went there today because it was conveniently close to where I was running an errand. BIG MISTAKE. I wanted to get the discounted eggs (advertised), along with some other items. First off, they did not have the discounted brand of eggs and substituted another brand. Second, while I was walking with my son, a hoodlum-looking boy came up to him and asked him to hold his phone for him. Before I could react, my naive kid holds the phone while the hoodlum rearranges his money. I told my kid to get away. Some guy who worked for Walgreens came up to me and asked if I knew the boy. I said no, and asked why. He said the kid stole some things. I explained he simply came up to us and tried to talk to my son. The Walgreens guy, who was pretty big, then started following us and even gave me a very mean glare. Excuse me...you're big enough to have caught that scrawny hoodlum and you're focusing on the innocent shoppers???? Since you guys seem to encounter theft often, perhaps you should improve your security rather than harass innocent shoppers. I am NEVER coming back to this Walgreens. It seems to be too dangerous. You may be harassed by hoodlums OR the store clerks themselves. This has been the most uncomfortable shopping experience I've had in a very long time. **I saw another review where someone else experienced something similar. I wonder if it was the same burly man that followed her around. My question is...if he is REALLY concerned about security, then why is he singling out WOMEN. Is it because we are easier to intimidate than the actual hoodlums who steal? Why did he take a long time to react to the shoplifter but then followed and intimidated ME afterward. Went to look for two different types of lipstick shades and got followed around by security. Couldn't decide on what shades to choose from, they were somewhat expensive so i wanted to make the right choice. Had about 5 of them in my hand and went on to continue my shopping while i contemplated on which ones to buy. Lady at the register kept staring at me and when i walked to the halloween section, i heard over the intercom "security walk the floor". While i was squatting down and looking at halloween makeup kits, a guy who works there says for me to go pay at the register. And i said, "why? I'm not ready yet." And he said, "oh no? Okay." And stayed there next to me pretending to be arranging items. Why would i be ready to pay when i'm looking at items on the opposite side of the registers? I sensed that there was something funny going on so i decided to walk around to see if he was following and he was. I get it, security is there to protect merchandise, but can you be a little more descrete? I felt really uncomfortable being followed around by a male when i'm just trying to decide on which makeup shade I want. And i walked all around the store and he was looking for me cus a couple times he passed me through the aisles and would abruptly come back and walk in that aisle. I should be allowed to roam the store free without constantly being watched, they already have mirrors all around the store and a few security tvs, now i have to get followed because i was just shopping? Like, seriously, chill the f*** out. Two stars cus its a nice clean store compared to a CVS that is closer to my house. read more

I switched from CVS at 888 3rd avenue because of bad customer service at the pharmacy. Everything has been good up to a few weeks ago. The pharmacy here has been messing up my prescriptions, in fact they email and text me I have prescriptions for refill, I order them and get a text/email saying they are ready for pick-up but when I try to pick them up they say I have no prescriptions ready? This has been going on for almost 3 weeks. I then called them was put on hold, spoke to someone 2 more times putting me on hold again and then hung up on. After being on hold for 23 minutes! I'm only one customer but they just lost my business. There's plenty other pharmacies in the area I'll be using. read more

The line was rediculously long. I was in the store a total of two hours. My medication was ready but instead of telling me that the technician filled one I didnt need now saying it was almost ready. Meanwhile everything was discussed in spanish while I could not understand. I overheard someone next to me that they were cursing at me and saying rude things. I think I cought one of the names as gorge. Not only that there was a major issue my doctor noticed between two medications that I was taking from two different doctors. The pharmacist should have noticed this but refused to apologize or give the 5 $ refund. All they asked was if I was pregnant. I am a 65 year old male. That was rediculous read more
