The pharmacy staff is completely unprofessional. I was standing in line for about 20 minutes before being seen by anyone. Just to pick up a prescription that took less than a minute to ring up and give to me. The staff completely ignored me and the other customers in line (keep in mind there were about 6-7 of them working at the time) and continued to go about their tasks not even acknowledging the customers in line. Very rude. Very unprofessional. Will be switching to another Walgreen's for my prescriptions read more

I love the Walgreen's in Kaneohe. The people who work there are so friendly and helpful. Today i bought a $20 item and the cashier blew me away by going through some lists to see if there was a coupon for my item. There wasn't but she informed me I had enough points for their cash credits. I then went to the pharmacy and watched them juggle cordially the drive-through customers and the line of people in store. It's a small store and the people there truly acts like they are part of the community. I love this Walgreen's. read more

No matter what time or day. This has to be the slowest pharmacy ever. The phone takes forever to get someone to answer. Even when you're in the store the phone is constantly ringing. I've tried the drive thru only to wait 15+ minutes. Just got out of a 20 min wait (and I was second in line). Also the automatic refill calls have called me several times on meds I had no refill for. The staff are always nice but SOMETHING is wrong with their systems. read more

If I can't find what I want at Long's, I just walk over to Walgreen's, and they usually have it. It's a good balance of merchandise between the two stores. I like the fact that there is a Redbox there to rent movies, and I usually get more my shampoo and cosmetics at Walgreens. The people who work there seem a little more friendlier as well. I love their photo department! I have the app, and it's the best thing that has EVER happened to me. I mostly take photos on my phone now, and so I don't have to transfer anything to a USB anymore...I simply send it to Walgreens right from my phone with their amazing app! It saves me time, and there are always coupons if I use my app :) LOVE IT!!! read more

Horrible customer service! As I walked up to the cash wrap, both cashiers were having an excited conversation with each other and the security guard. The conversation did not stop as the blonde cashier scanned my items. I had a question to ask and had to interrupt her (the blonde cashier) to ask. She continues with her conversation and the sale. She bagged my items and still never paid any attention to me. Gave me my items in the bag and said thank you. I had to ask her for my receipt. I really hate writing these types of reviews, but something needs to be said about poor customer service that, in my opinion, is a result of poor training and poor supervision. read more

I only really go to this Walgreens for their Photo department, so I am only reviewing that department. They always have great deals online. Placing my order online is always so easy and painless, i love it! Plus, they're fast, not quite one hour, but within a few hours. The staff is very nice and helpful. The quality of pictures is good! I have picked up pictures from them about 5 times now, and I have no complaints about the quality. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because something was broken, so when I went to pick up my pictures, they were not ready. I was told someone should have called me. No one did. They offered me a small discount for the inconvenience, so I was still happy. One other reason they didn't get 5 stars is because I had a copyrighted photo, and I guess I didn't realize that I needed to bring in the release for the photo. In my opinion, they should have it written on my email confirmation that I should bring it in. If you are printing copyrighted photos, make sure you bring in the release EVERYTIME you get your pictures printed. Even though it's on file, their filing system is not very efficient. read more

Why would busy Kaneohe Walgreens on a Friday evening right at rush hour have only one pharmacist and two techs. Wait time for a prescription, two hours! Unacceptable. And if you pulled up in a car at the drive up window, you got waited on before the ten people who were in line to drop off or pick up prescriptions. And why can't drop off and pick up be separate windows like some other pharmacies? You have to wait in the same longggggg slowwwww line to do both. Horrible service. read more

My wife was denied medication. She really needs it because she's in a lot of pain. I probably have to watch my wife toss and turn all night or until i have to drive her back to the ER because she can't take the pain. We have the morphine that we picked up a few days ago but it didn't work. So what do we do... double up, triple up maybe take four pills at a time just so she can rest. I went to 5 other pharmacy's here on the windward side and no one either had it or we weren't covered by our insurance. Cant really go anywhere on a Sunday. NOT SATISFIED!!! read more

I love the drive thru pharmacy pickup. When my dog is in the car, they will offer her a treat. Overall store selection is pretty good too, but I only go there for my meds and any over the counter stuff I may need. Used to go to Long's (before they remodeled their pharmacy) and switched to Walgreens because Long's used to be sloooow. Staff is friendly and the wait time to pickup is minimal. read more

I have seriously never been to a better pharmacy. I do not have one complaint about this store or their pharmacy. The store is clean, well stocked and filled with friendly and courteous staff. The pharmacy is out of this world! The staff there is very knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer they never hesitate to call the pharmacist. None of the pharmacists have ever disappointed me. They are friendly, intelligent and never act put out when you pull them away from what they are doing to ask a question. They pay GREAT attention to detail. I was picking up a prescription and they alerted me that the pills would look different because they had gotten them from a different manufacturer this time. Their drive-thru is an added bonus. 24 hour service too!!! You can't go wrong. On a side note I work in the health care industry and recommend that my patients use this pharmacy for all of their prescription needs. They are fast and fill prescriptions within minutes. They are always very nice when I call in a prescription and they have never made an error (knock on wood.) read more

The customer service is the worst I've come across. I've been trying for weeks to get a passport photo here. Half the time I wait at the counter for 10 to 20 minutes near the photo center with no one coming to help. Once I got them to take my picture and take down my number, but they never processed my order. Good luck getting any help here. read more

Came in at exactly 11pm after a visit at urgent care Kaneohe to pick up two prescription that was called in cough syrup and antibiotic. There was three people ahead of me and a few others sitting and waiting. The pharmacy tech told me it will be about a half hour wait. I said " thats fine". The stores was packed being it was Christmas Eve so I walked over to Safeway, then Longs and returned to the pharmacy at 11:45, got back in line and the tech tells me the pharmacist is giving someone a flu shot and be right with me. At 12:05 I get back in line and the tech says " Oh I forgot to tell you we ran out of the cough syrup but we found some underneath can you give us five more mintues, "ok" I said its 12:20 at 12:35 I get back in line and tell the tech "you asked for five more mintues I gave you fifteen more minutes, I tell the tech "I've been waiting almost an hour and twenty minutes". Then I overhear this tech in a sarcastic manner tell the pharmacist "She waited almost a whole hour and a half" She seen the look I gave her and passed the buck to another tech to ring me up. The new tech calls me to the counter and says your prescription is ready, she rings me up and says I can give you the cough syrup but I have to mix the antibiotics. Always has what I'm looking for and the staff is always friendly. Probably why I choose this place over Longs. Some things may be a little more expensive but when they have sales its worth the wait. Especially if you stack on merchandise coupons with their in-store coupons. Its well maintained and its open 24hrs. They also always have a seasonal section where you can get all your holiday items. The only reason I gave less than 5 stars is because the bathroom is almost always locked and you have to get an employee to open it for you, and sometimes when you got to go they are just never fast enough. Went to Longs today for a few items. Left my car at Longs parking lot and walked over to Walgreens. Bought 3 12-pks of Cokes. Heavy for an older person. As I walked back to my car a locking mechanism stopped the cart. It was hard carrying my purchases the rest of the way to my car. I would gladly have parked in the Walgreens lot, but as is frequently true, the lot was jammed. Spoke to manager at Walgreens who assured me there was nothing he or anyone could do. That was not entirely correct, as customers do have a choice on where to shop. read more

Agree with the other posts! Pharmacy customer service has hit rock bottom. Pharmacy cut their hours of operation again. Its hit or miss. If you're lucky you may be in and out in 5 min or as long as 35 minutes. Just one customer ahead of you can take 20 minutes so don't judge on the amount of people already in line. Genius layout with both walk-in and drive-thru service. Needless to say the same pharm tech has to handle both and does neither very well. High turnover in pharm techs don't help. Kinda feel sorry for them. Its not the techs fault. read more

Every single time I go here to pick up prescription it's a LONG WAIT just to speak to someone. Then there's ALWAYS a problem with insurance and I have to do their job and call the insurance to find out what the problem is. Oh and they send you text alerts just to WAIT STILL! i am loving their drive through window for the pharmacy department. i can always swing by with ease no matter what time of day, roll my window down, wait for the pharmacist to talk to me through the phone, ask me some questions, pop my medications through the little box, thank me, and off i go. friendly and knowledgeable staff. *tip: they also offer text message reminders to notify you that your prescriptions are ready. pretty cool concept. read more

Don't go there to fill your prescription, we had a very unpleasant experience with the pharmacy manager who was very unfriendly and rude. After sending them a email complaining about our experience all we got back was a response saying we are sorry for what happen and will speak to the manager in question. read more

Walgreens Kaneohe Pharmacy has the worst customer service...the girls there today are very young and dont know how to handle customers. I went to pick up my prescription today and saw two very angry customers and one of the pharmacist was yelling at one of the customers because the customer was angry with their service. The pharmacist could have handled the issue better and the manager should have stepped in and handled it before it got to that point. The girls there today all had bad attitudes and it showed from one customer to the next. I can understand why those two customers were so upset after standing there watching the whole thing. read more

If I could give this place more stars I would. Let me try to paint you a picture. I was in the store during the later evening. I happened to be in the neighborhood and knew it was time to fill my zovirex and my little blue pills. Hey it was a Friday and time to get the party started. OK well that was a bit of a stretch. I was in picking up my oldest son's insulin pens. He was going on vacation for a long trip to the mainland and we needed to pick up the prescription prior to it needing to be filled. Needless to say the insurance company would not immediately authorize that. The lovely pharmacy tech said that if we could wait till the next business day she would see what she could do. The next day I received a phone call from the tech and all the supplies we needed were ready and waiting. I cannot say enough for her going the extra mile. This review is for the pharmacy. You'd think it'd be more convenient and hassle-free with a drive thru pharmacy but I'm still sitting at the window waiting. There's at least two associates in the pharmacy. Instead of one handling the inside customers and the other handling the drive thru customers, they're both making the inside customers more of a priority. And now 20 minutes later, still waiting and there's a line in both lanes at the drive thru. #fail. Took so long the other vehicle behind me reversed and left, and the one on the right side both just left while I'm being helped. #epicfail. Maybe I'll stick with Longs. read more
