He asked me if I could bring the vehicle in, he would get the task completed in a timely manner. From the time I called until the task was completed was under an hour. This was performance above & beyond what several other shops in the area provided. Julian was the Technician performing the task, fast, efficient, genuinely friendly. My first visit to Sun, I will be a returning customer. Thank you Sun! Jim Palladino CWO3 US Navy Ret.

I've been waiting to post this review because I really believed this franchise was solid and…read morereliable but after spending over 5000 dollars on repairs and my vehicle was still in the same condition as it was when I initially brought it in. My issue initially was my AC blowing hot. They said the culprit and main cause and a needed repair would be replacing my AC compressor. I agreed. Few days later, it was blowing hot air again. Brought it back and they did the same checks. Now they discovered a hose that needs replacing- which had no problems prior and how was this not caught after completing the AC compressor replacement. What do you know, few days later the AC is blowing hot again. I bring the car back in and they are saying I need an evaporator core and some other hosing which was upwards of $2500. They also mentioned my battery was dead because of them having it on constantly- which was a lie. The battery was in great condition, and even if the battery were to be low power or problematic, why wouldn't Sun Auto help out with recharging / remedying the issue in the first place after I just spent $3000+ for the AC Compressor. It's wild, even the AutoZone team member said the same thing. Anyways, I declined the work because at this point I didn't have the money nor did I have trust in their capabilities to actually fix it. They probably would have kept adding on more and more repairs. So here's the thing, I had my mechanic friend come take a look and a majority of the problems listed in diagnostics were incorrect and predatory. All he had to do was tighten some valves on the newly replaced hose which fixed the AC as well as assisted me in my alignment issue that I had brought my car in for before. (How do you have mechanics that can't even properly seal the valves on a hose?) Overall, this is a very unprofessional business that is predatory and will take advantage of you. (The teamwork / coordination is terrible, no one there knows what is going on with your vehicle and are uninformed about appointments and services which makes the customer feel neglected, especially after the fact of booking appointments prior, listing my issues and what has been worked on and they would never be able to locate and make use of previous diagnostics. TLDR: Sun Auto overcharges for repairs that don't actually fix the issue and also miss other issues in the process, or possibly create more issues for your vehicle during the repair process. Bring your business elsewhere, these guys are not truthful and unprofessional.

After their inspection, I approved additional repairs and paid $2,006.64, picking up the car on Nov. 17. Within days, the leak was worse. Instead of one leak, I now had two, along with a strong burning-oil smell while driving. I returned on Nov. 21 and was told it was just leftover oil and that everything had been cleaned. That same evening, I discovered the car was leaking from three different places. I brought the car back again on Dec. 2. After no communication all day, I called and was told they found another leaking gasket and wanted an additional $400. I was also told that "oil leaks are tricky on Volkswagens," but a properly diagnosed repair should not turn one leak into multiple new leaks in a matter of days. At this point, I declined further work. I paid over $2,000 and ended up with a car in worse condition than when I brought it in. I requested a refund in writing and never received a response. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

This is a very well organized business so if you're looking to trusting someone with your vehicle, this is the place to be. Sometimes they give you the same day appointments and sometimes they don't, kind of depends on how busy they are. But other than that they treat you with respect and honesty, when they tell you something wrong with your car they really mean it! Even if you research it like I did in the very beginning not knowing these guys but now that I've been with him for a few years I can truly tell you that I trust them one 100 percent. Highly knowledgable I highly recommend Lakeway business with the Austin automotive specialist! Give them a try....happy yelping!

It has restored my faith in Lambs, and I am willing to give them another chance. The issue ultimately came down to their central call center speaking out of turn as to what their offers actually were, thus setting a wrong impression in my mind that I was being lied to. That apparently wasn't the case. I do appreciate Lamb's/this mgr's willingness to resolve my issue in a satisfying manner. I upped the number of stars I gave them, but I'm withholding giving them 5 stars until I see how our future relationship pans out. Things are definitely looking up. Thank you, Lambs. WARNING: KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!!! I wanted a simple Oil Change for my 2021 Toyota Venza. It takes 5 quarts of oil. I had Lambs do my Oil change last time, and it was $69 (expensive to begin with). Today, I took it in again expecting to pay the same and was told it was going to be $99 after they did it. That's even after I presented a $15 off coupon. I commented on the price and was told that is because of oil prices going up and that their standard oil change of $89 had increased to $109. Annoyed, I paid it and drove away. That price seemed really high, so I called Lambs back right after I left and pretended to be a customer who needed an oil change. I gave them the year, make and model of my car and was told that they are running a special for May that all synthetic oil changes that are originally $89 are now $49. Let me remind you, the price I was just quoted on the phone ($89) was lower than what I was actually charged after I had my oil changed ($99), not to mention the $49 deal for this month only. I feel as though I was lied to and mislead. When I called Lambs back to discuss I was told there was nothing they can do now that the ticket has been closed and that I will have to call back tomorrow to speak with a manager. I will do that an then update this review. Needless, to say that is really a very poor business practices, especially given that they also gave me a laundry list of other things I need to get done on my car (e.g. Engine Air Filter replacement, Cabin Air Filter & Labor, Brake Fluid Flush, Coolant Fluid Flush, and Fuel Induction Serviced). Assuming I need those things done, which I highly doubt now and can do some myself, do you honestly think I would bring my car back to Lambs to get this work done? They just shot themselves in their own foot treating me this way, not offering the special upfront, expecting me to know about it when I came in and still lying to me about how their standard oil service has gone up in price when it hasn't. I won't be going back there again. I was working with a guy name Roel at the Lambs on Far West Blvd.
