I let these guys know that and that the device will go off every 10-15 minutes while the car is on, I waited at their store while my car was being worked on to blow into the device as needed. They didn't come to get me a single time so I assumed they had turned the car off. It's turns out they just didn't care and let the device time out and lock out. It costs me another 150$ to get the device unlocked in this situation. After doing so I went back to the store and explained this situation to the manager and he claims it's not their fault. Even though I told them how this device works and I stayed while the car was being worked on so I could blow into the device. The manager wants to say that I should've have let the company know my car was being worked on but that is only for extended service times not for an oil change or alignment or a tire change. Every other shop I have taken my car to has understood this and knows how the devices work and the manager says they knew too so why did they not pay attention? Now I am out 150$! I have generally had good experiences with Kwik kar but not this location whether they try to up charge you by adding things you don't ask for or just being ignorant and not paying any attention. Go to a different location

Upon checking the oil, I have been told that it looks nice and clear, but it is a bit low. This young man told me he will not change my oil, and figured out that I will need a coolant change. Never had one, usually you do not need one until 100.000 miles, my car had 114.000 miles. Supposed to be a $125 but with coupons and kindness I paid much much less :) I looked up how much that cost at other places, found prices between $200-$400 and also a long wait time. It was still done in 10 minutes. I am so grateful for him and makes me happy that people who really care are still around. We have been getting our oil changed here for years, never been disappointed. This time was no different! In July, I scheduled an oil change and engine flush, which he claimed to have completed along with topping off fluids. At the end of August, my vehicle broke down -- the serpentine belt snapped, punctured the front axle, and broke the coolant hose. I paid him $900 to replace the alternator and belt. He then quoted me another $500 to repair the axle and coolant hose (about $200 in parts, with $300 in labor). However, he only replaced the alternator and belt before disappearing, saying he would not be able to return until he sorted out his new work schedule. After a brief apology by text, he stopped responding entirely. I had no choice but to take my vehicle to another mechanic, where I paid an additional $900. The second mechanic confirmed that the oil change and engine flush I had paid for in July were never done, which is why the car broke down originally. The serpentine belt installed was too tight as well. The new shop also properly repaired the axle and coolant hose. Overall, I was left out of pocket significantly more than necessary, with incomplete work, misrepresented services, and a lack of reliability.
