I used to like shopping here a few months ago but every time I come here it's a disaster. Would advise anyone to go to the Monrovia location when you will be treated much better. Whatever changed here within the past couple months needs to be studied as the biggest downfall of all time.

Especially when it comes to returns or asking team members about checking stock on items/help finding items. Then there's the issue of nothing ever being in stock. I'm not talking about discontinued items either, I'm talking about basic, staple items: milk, pasta noodles, frozen items. I went in with a list of 10 items only for 3 items to be out of stock, on a weekday. That's pretty bad. Does Trader Joe's really expect people to be able to come ink the same store multiple times in one week just to buy basics? This is starting to become a place that's not worthwhile to visit, as it's not very functional.

I had some time to kill before having brunch with my brother, so my son & I browsed the supermarket to see if there's any goods that are interesting or a good deal. The market is well-stocked & organized, but the floors are dingy & screams for a deep clean. Yikes! Though the items on the shelves look like there's been turnaround since they're not dusty. Whew! =) Its offerings are similar to the local Asian markets, with a little less variety at slightly higher prices. The fresh fruits were absurdly pricey IMO, but there were a few "sales" though they're still higher than regular pricing elsewhere. Since we're over an hour from home, I only picked up some snacks like roasted peanuts (I love the Farmer Brand!), fermented hawthorn, & some biscuits. The cashiers were friendly... asked if I found everything I needed, & also greeted my son & asked if hawthorn is his favorite treat. While I didn't have any 好運氣 (good fortune) in finding any deals, I get some yummy treats for my 6 YO to nosh on while waiting for my brother. I prefer the Main St. location in Alhambra, but they've been temporarily closed since 09/2024; I usually shop there when I'm in the area because of the eateries nearby. I don't think I'll be making any return trips unless I'm dining next door.

So for me, I'll give them a positive rating, but it probably won't change my frequency of visiting. Creatures of habit tend to operate like that.

The fact that the owner thinks that I am someone else indicates to me that I am not the only unsatisfied customer they've had and they know it. As far as the truth of my first review, I can happily provide pictures of the manure around the grounds, as I filed a complaint with the city and with animal control and still have the paperwork (including the photos) from that. In addition, I am pretty sure that I can dig up the credit card statements that indicate I purchased hay during the time I was boarded at Irish Rose, although that is a bit extreme I think. Nonetheless, if anyone require any of this, please feel free to contact me and I will happily send what I have their way. The owner's response indicated that turn out was $6. That part is true, when you ask to have your horse turned out in the arena for 30 minutes. If you want your horse turned out in the large green pasture, it is $50 extra and I *DO* have the paperwork to prove that. As far as the owner's claims that they have never had a complaint, that is completely untrue. I made my feelings very clear, and in written form, when I left. I also have complained about the facility to appropriate organizations. In fact, I believe that Animal Control received a complaint about the improper care of an older horse and came out to the facility to put the animal down. I was not the one who complained about it or filed a report, however I cannot say that I am surprised in the slightest. The point of my review is not to be mean, I just want to make sure that no one else has to ever experience what I did. It is a horrible facility and I am pretty sure they're survived this long simply because of the business from Santa Anita. By the way, my horse's name is Scarlett, not Arnie.

This Walmart Supercenter in Monrovia is spacious and has plenty of parking, with designated spots for returning shopping carts, making it convenient for customers. There's also a McDonald's inside, which is a nice option for a quick bite while shopping. One thing to note about the garden nursery is that the outdoor doors are not an entrance. You have to go through the main Walmart entrance to access it, likely for security reasons. The nursery itself doesn't have a huge selection of plants. The indoor plants looked a bit neglected, but the outdoor ones were in much better condition. However, they did have a nice selection of vases at reasonable prices. I also visited the baking section, specifically looking for bread flour. The selection of flours wasn't the most extensive. Some of the cheaper unbleached bread flour bags were open, which made them seem questionable, so I skipped those. However, they had Bob's Red Mill bread flour for around $6 for a 5lb bag, which was a great deal compared to other stores. They also carried King Arthur all-purpose flour but unfortunately didn't have bread flour from that brand, which is what I originally wanted. Beyond that, this Walmart has a vast selection of products, and it's easy to spend a lot of time browsing. The store is large enough that I almost got lost trying to find the self-checkout area. Thankfully, self-checkout was well-organized, with plenty of stations available and staff on hand to assist when needed. read more

I usually order online because nowadays customer service is not what should be. Plus, with many items under locked glass cabinets it's not easy to shop at ease. However, on Sept 17th around 10PM, I decided to browse the store and grab a couple of items. I needed to purchase a mascara but there was no one to help me in the cosmetics area. I asked a young man from the hair products aisle if he had a key to the cabinets, he said no. But he said he'd get someone. After a while of waiting, I went to the front of the store to see if anyone would help me. Before, I can reach the front of the store, a very nice lady named Gloria approached me and asked if she can help me. I related that I just need someone with a key to the cosmetic cabinet. Mind you this was not her department. Gloria was very courteous and offered to walk with me to the cosmetic area and try to open the locked cabinet for me. Although she struggled in opening the locked cabinet. She took the time to help me with my purchase. I was very thankful to Gloria especially because she said a phase that I have not heard from store clerks nowadays. Gloria said in Spanish the following, "The customer is always first." She added "if we didn't have customers to ask for help, we wouldn't have a job." Gloria is an excellent example of what customer service should be like. Great job Gloria!! every time I go in Walmart there is this one csm she ALWAYS have an attitude I believe her name is Maggie or magy how ever you spell it. I asked her was she a manager because I wanted to speak to a manager in regards to a certain item and instead of worrying about helping me a customer she's talking shit about some girl who works at the returns talking in Spanish like I couldn't understand what was being said and about some boy making fun of him and if this is what a manager is suppose to do she's very good at it. I usually go to the Walmart by my house in Rosemead, but I came to this one because they closed at midnight and it was 11pm when I got there. I was looking around for a nice bowl for chips for my party. This very nice man that was in the middle of unloading stuff in the home section came up to me and asked if he could help me look for something. I was pleasantly surprised because this has never happened to me at a Walmart before. I usually have a hard time even finding someone at the other Walmart for help. I told him what I was looking for and we cross paths with another sweet lady who walked me through the isle and was trying very hard to find what I was looking for and then she asks a third lady who was also very nice and helpful. I was so touched that these three kind people were so genuinely helpful. We found a cute bowl and I thanked them. About 15 minutes later, one of the super sweet blond lady came up to me and said that she found the perfect bowl and walked me to it, and it was perfect! All I was looking for was a bowl and these three went out of their ways to help me find not only a bowl, but the perfect bowl. I love that this Walmart apparently hires good hearted people. Crap assistance in sporting goods. I think Daniel was heavily medicated, sleepy or hungover. I understand having to bring ammo up to the register but the wait was deplorably long. He forgot to bring it up to the register and proceeded to tell Tristan that I was going to come back to pick it up even after he told me he'd take it to the register. The rest of the staff was great and apologetic but Daniel may need some assistance in his function as an employee and even if he hates his job... for gosh sakes pretend you like it for the time you're on the clock. Walmart is putting food on your table dude! If you're going to forget about a customer, possibly you could serve the store in a capacity fit for your aptitude like shipping or receiving, definitely not one where you have to interact with the public. Well i go to my local Walmart at least 3 times a week. I am always needing something and i really enjoy wasting gas going there so often. The real problem is i just can't seem to remember all the things i went there for, so i have to keep going back. I actually went there for mark down candy from Christmas. The signs said 50% off so i loaded up my cart with peppermints for the horses. Well when i left the store i thought it seemed rather high so i checked my reciept and i was charged regular price! Well anyone who has ever been overcharged knows you don't just go back to the cashier but you must go to customer service and wait in a huge a** line to get your money back, and being 2 days after Christmas the line was out the door. So i waited in the line just to get my 50% off when it was there fault. The only good thing about my trip that day was i found a poor hungry kittie someone dumped off in the parking lot. This place is a fucking shit pit! The store has this look that it is permanently stuck in a world war. It is NEVER clean. Not to mention the general rudeness and unprofessional behavior that the managers carry. One "manager" that comes to mind is Rose. It (can't get myself to call that thing a woman) is a fat, blonde bitch in her mid to late 50's. This bitch has a attitude like it owns the goddamn store and that she has the right to not sell you products. On multiple occasions she would yell at me for trying to buy something (maybe because I'm Asian? Who the hell knows). Not sure, but that's how they make me feel. There's a specific cashier, older lady maybe in her 40's-50's, Caucasian, she has bangs super rude. Weird. I don't know if it was this location's fault or not, but I ordered something online for in-store pick up and it wasn't there. I showed them my order and they said it wasn't there, and I'd should come back the next day. I got all the notifications that it was there and they had it. I called corporate and got them to change to a different Target that was close by my house (this one was by my work). No problem there. The customer service wasn't necessarily rude, but they should've been more competent, in my opinion. read more

Monorovia branch is a nice one. It is connected to HomeGoods which is fun to shop at and very convenient too. There are ample parking spots shared with other businesses. The store was clean. The staff were nice. It's a great department store to shop at and find branded merchandise at lower price compared to other stores.

I feel every Marshall's has the same problem lol their cashiers just are too slow, no urgency. The…read moreline is always so long & backed up, that's that they have 3-5 cashiers on. It's crazy. Even when it's a short line it moves so slow, because the cashiers just are in no rush to move people out. Times have really changed when it comes to retail. Love some of the deals at Marshall's, cause I always find something when I need it! But just be prepared to wait & wait & wait!

I came here today after I got turned away from the dollar tree on Duarte rd by their rude manager sorco, saying I had to go back to the store I originally made the purchase from which I called bs. So I called this store on foothill spoke to Andrew who was so pleasant over the phone & he said he was happy to help me with my returns since I had my receipt & tags still on! I walked in & saw Andrew right away when checking out so thanked him for helping me out & his mannerism over the phone! He was easily able to accept my returns without any hesitation! Called the manager & she said she had no idea what that other manager was talking about "inventory", sounds like she was just lazy & didn't wanna take the time to do it. Anyways, I will forever come to this location cause they always have what I need, they go above & beyond for their customers, & the employees are super helpful here! You are greeted kindly. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The staff was willing to answer my questions and went out of their way to assist me without making me feel like I was inconveniencing them. It's refreshing to receive service from employees who truly care about their customers. If you're in the area and have a choice, I definitely recommend coming to the Foothill location. They turned what could have been another frustrating shopping trip into a great experience!

Since I receive a little coupon after returns I sometimes shop around & stop by the Sephora in there (: Yesterday I did my return & got a $5 off coupon so got some stuff since I needed to find a gift for this weekend! Joe at the front register helped me out & he was super friendly also threw in a 20% off with my $5 off so that was so helpful! Love additional discounts! The store is always kept up well & clean!

This is a Costco for restaurant and any food industry businesses. You can pretty much find…read moreeverything you need here. Meat, produce, dairies, seasoning, gifts, candies etc, all in bulk. I come here sometimes to help my parents pick up some frozen veggies and produce from time to time. Service is not bad, staffs are helpful and 5-6 checkouts. Don't forget to bring a jacket because it's pretty cold once you step into the freezer section. Prices are reasonable.

I couldnt go from the other side because there were 2 others blocking the path. They currently have sales but not good enough. I didnt try going deeper in since it mightve taken me 10 minutes to squeeze my way back out.

I was looking for the capsule-style "blind boxes" that Mikey C. found, but those Hello Kitty Pajama Party ones must have sold out. I saw Kirby, Molang, Corgi, Chiikawa, and others... Shucks! I did find a cute purse charm for my youngest niece, and a birthday tiara for my middle niece. Then I gave in and got some foodie blind capsules... haha! I saw the sign for 10% off the purchase when customers sign up for the email list. Paulina is a very patient and helpful employee. She saw me struggling and figured out how to get me the 10% off! Thank you so much!!! Five Below is a fun store with reasonable prices! I'll bring my nieces here some day!
