Some of their prices are great. Period. Unbeatable even. But... How much is your time worth? Because that is the trade off. Your time and inconvenience to save a few bucks. I always get annoyed here. Can I say this place is getting better took them eight years to bring the trading cards back I guess they're trying out again did snag some Yu-Gi-Oh cards. All I have to say is Pokémon here has spider wire on it. I knew it was gonna happen because the store is known for shoplifting. Rallies was delicious. The card section is not big but small. There's a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh booster packs and some sports. somethings have changed but I know the stuff that they steal are still locked up can I say like this place again reminds me of when things were more simpler I really like your EcoATM machine. I am surprised at the low rating of this location! I personally find this Walmart to be the cleanest, most organized, and well staffed of the other stores I've been to in San Diego. In fact, our customer service experience with Michael was better than most high end stores. This Walmart is also extremely large with a wide variety items for all your needs. Review for our visit on 1/7/2023 Gerry tall older gentleman, was one of the greatest cashiers I've ever experienced in walmart. He is quick at scanning & VERY sweet to us. He greeted every single person in his line, and made fun conversation. I just wanted to give him a shout out, because you don't come across people often that truly enjoy their jobs, and he truly does. This Walmart was the most interesting one I've ever been too. Right away the floor plan felt super weird I know it sounds but if you have gone to this one versus others. It feels completely different. The aisles were also very small. Barely able to squeeze by other shoppers. The selection of items were low to missing. So either a bad Saturday or just a normal day for this Walmart. Service was also not the best. As most Walmarts see but this one. Cashiers were just so sloooow. And machines weren't even working properly. I definitely do not recommend this location. read more

I do not frequent Walmart much, but it was close were I was and I really needed some oatmeal. In addition to the oatmeal, I also picked up some disposable razors, dark chocolate, and baked beans. I found all the stuff readily and I liked that they had a good selection of dark chocolates. The only bummer was that they were out of a lot of the oatmeal boxes so pickings were slim. Walmart! Always entertaining and well priced! Love this one because the staff is very attentive and might I say attractive? Especially the woman who worked the frozen goods! *rawr*! ( you know who you are ;-) I mean, I didn't even want a nutty buddy but she was very charismatic and convincing that I felt hypnotized to by 4 boxes! Then there are the greeters! They will put a smile on your face the instant you see their cherub cheeks I tell you! Not sure but I believe they would even give hugs if asked... Bright floors, clothes, food, electronics, car stuff, baby stuff, naughty stuff in the pharmacy area. And even better, if you push one of those buttons in the pharmacy area, someone will come out and have a conversation with you. I came in today to get an oil change at their auto center. Arrived at 7:15am, went with their $29.88 "Good" oil package of Penzoil non-synthetic. I was greeted immediately and politely. He took down the usual details and had me sign for the service with a quick check for existing damage. I asked for a estimated time for completion and he said 1.5-2 hours, wow! I decided to chance it and see if that is an overstatement as they probably get a lot of complaints if it was understated but then go over. They have a waiting area with a TV, sofa and some chairs thankfully. The area has a glass window that you can look into the service bay so you can see your car get worked on. You pay for service after the work has completed like traditional auto shops. Turned out to actually take 1.5 hours as there were 5 cars in front of me by that time. They open at 6am so you have to be an early bird. Cant complain as they told me it would take that long up front. Will read more

Not my favorite Walmart to come to but it was convenient at the time. My windshield wipers were in bad shape literally falling apart I've had them for over 5 years. Super dangerous at this point and I wanted to prepare before any rain starts. Walmart has very competitive prices for rain x blades, other stores were charging over $20 per blade! Oh no this penny pincher can't afford that! Walmart had a large selection of wiper blades from rain x for $10 for the hybrid and curved ones. You can go higher for $19 for the performance ones on sale $15 right now! They also carry Michelin brand ones too $20. Also picked up rain x windshield wiper fluid while I was there. I come here for the prices they always beat out others. Overall this location seems to have more issues, I run into more negative/shady people here. I will come when convenient, but I prefer other Walmart locations instead like Shawline or Poway. read more

This is my regular oil change place since the price is so good and the customer service this time was outstanding. The greeter, Blaine, was so knowledgeable of cars, polite and courteous, keeping me up to date on when he would get to me and how long it might take. He could be a service writer at any car dealership. I was so impressed that I walked up to Randy's donuts and bought him a donut and his crew some donut holes. I've been a Walmart+ Customer for some time now. Truthfully, it's been hit& miss and as of this writing 12/11/2022, a disappointment. I have to say from months of experience, they've bitten off more than they can chew. Incorporating grocery delivery with Apparel, Home, Automotive and the other departments needs improvement. However, the biggest disappointment has been with their "Substitutions". When I shop an item in stock, it may not really be in stock. Or, it is in stock at that instant in time but when the Walmart employee goes to pick the item, the time elapsed has allowed other in-store shoppers to buy it and leave none for my order. In either scenario, the Substitution Protocol in implemented. An email is sent and I may hear it arrive, see it and take action. Or, like my order yesterday, I miss it and a substitution is made on my behalf. I almost Never want any substituted. I don't buy for the pleasure of shopping. I purchase specifically what I want or not at all. Yesterday, I was buying Woolite Darks Liquid Laundry Detergent which at 12/11/22 1217 hrs. show it's in stock for pickup or delivery. IT'S NOT. Moreover, the picker picked Gain Aroma Boost Liquid Laundry Detergent which is not for "Dark Colors" as the product I thought I was buying. And the cherry on top of this crap cake is that during the online buying process, there is no option to check "No Substitutions" which would prevent from being asked. So, I go to the store to return which defeats the purpose of delivery. Frustrating. I hope Walmart can expedite doing better. I'm tried about writing about them, to them. I'm letting everyone who shops at wWalmart, if you are not a member and have used a debt or credit card, you better start looking at your statements every month. For the last 6 months Walmart has got my credit card numbers , my debt card numbers as 3 years ago I was a member for 1 year. I canceled. Then all credit cards and debt cards , including my husband's are being charged 13.95 every month for membership. I don't even shop there. I called all my banks and credit cards and they refunded one time, then the next month Walmart charged on my bank card 106.50 membershp for a year, called my bank and they refunded it. But Walmart is charging 4 of my cards every month 13.95. I'm 68 yrs old and I called them and was hang up on then I sent the statement to them and still yeasterday they charged a credit card twice. What can I do!! Beware of walmart . Oh, did you know the Bags at Walmart are 80 cents now so bring your own. One more thing walgreen's got in trouble for sending and selling abortation pills , well so was Walmart but they didn't get in trouble from our lovely Gov. Newsom. Ordered a set of expensive tires to be sent to this Walmart location for installation as it says on the invoice, they delivered them to the wrong address and the correct delivery address is on the invoice. Wow, but when I called them to fix the issue they refused to but did say I could have my money back in 5 business days. I called three more times to see if I was being clear about their mistake and they admitted it was their fault but still refuse to correct it. Closing my Walmart account. This is one of my favorite Wal-marts in San Diego. The store itself is usually clean and neat. The employees in the store are helpful and polite. I can usually find whatever I am looking for with ease. The produce at this store is very limited, I would not suggest trying to do grocery shopping at this store. This store is good for your household essentials other items. The photo pick up is great. My photos are always done on time or early. The staff is attentive and I never have a long wait. I have only had a problem once when a mounted picture was put on upside down and the employee didn't care. The lady working there is almost always there and never very friendly but at least she isn't rude. The reason I am giving this store a lower rating is the site to store pick up. The employees are not very nice and wait times are extremely long. I have waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the counter and over an hour for someone to get my items. They really need to get their act together. I have placed orders doing site to store for over a year and have yet to have a good experince. Overall this is a good store but beware of site to store ordering. Choose another location. read more

I went here to get my trailer tire replaced. Their price is good but the tire worker and supervisor are idiots. The Dumbass decided to tell me, " TRAILER TIRES DOES NOT NEED TO BE BALANCE."
