Well..............it's been a month since I've been to Walmart as noted on my previous review and guess what? Still sucks. I'm blaming the wife for this one because she's the one who wanted to come by. I conceded by saying we would go since I needed a gallon of skim milk and a 6 pack of diet Mountain Dew. I'll give y'all one.......freakin'.........guess what they didn't have in stock. Yup! You guessed right; no skim milk and no Diet Mountain Dew. No mas! No mas! I'm done! Never coming here again. Tired of wasting my money, gas, and time for a store that absolutely does not give a damn about it's customers. I'd like to thank Chris for treating me well and going above and beyond. Unlike most employees or auto shops where they see you as dollar signs. I've ordered online for some tires and had it installed here. Chris was caring enough to tell me that one of the tires has plenty of life still in it. So I took it home to have a spare full tire aside from the one in the trunk. Today Chris was able to find the nail in one of my tires and quickly fixed the flat. I was in and out the store in less than 20min. Truly trustworthy and dependable. I recommend this place for your tires and other auto services that they provide. read more

There is a reason that this store has only two stars for its rating: lack of customer service. Stopped in for a replacement phone charger and the only person available was an unhappy hateful woman named Emily. She couldn't have been more unpleasant and uncaring to a customer's needs. She was rude, condescending and seems like she hates herself and her life. Don't take your life issues out on paying customers!! I can't imagine how she achieved her position as a manager, but that speaks volumes about those who promoted her. Do yourselves a favor and shop ANYWHERE else!! read more

VICTORIA (MANAGER) is a very angry, unprofessional, rude, and dangerous. she showed me very bad attitude in front of other 6/7 customers in line, when i was returning an item that was bought from online: walmart.com Victoria did not listen to my concerns at all, and on top of it she threw telephone set so loudly, so i left the store. i spent more than an hour for returning, but still could not return it. She refused to give me Walmart number to contact her superior. it was so disrespectful situation she created, and i felt little assaulted especially with her disrespectful attitude in front of many people. This specific Walmart is out of order and its to a point where I avoid this stressful establishment. Where to start? Geez, for one you will be asked and nearly ran down by folks who want you to sign up, donate and buy things. AS IF Walmart isn't already expensive! The inside is very much cluddered with millions of merchandise in the middle of the isle making it hard to swerve and change lanes so you're not in peoples way or wanting to pass slow people. Horrible horrible waited over 10 mins calling and calling for a pick up and then someone finally came and I gave her my information and waited another 25 mins and she never came!!! This store is super chill, I use the Walmart plus feature to have delivery, pickup and mail service plus all kinds of other perks. The delivery is awesome, it's accurate, fresh, well packaged and delivered by professionals. They even offer one hour delivery for some situations. I can't tell you how much this service has benefited my life for the past few years. Thanks Walmart. If you dog the store the director is really chill and always available. We had been pushing the button for 10 minutes in the spray paint area and no one showed up. Walked around and saw someone that had a walkie talkie passing by, he seemed like management since he was wearing regular clothes with no Walmart vest. I tried to stop him and as I was asking him if he worked there and if he could help me he didn't even stop to acknowledge me he just kept walking and mumbled something. I would've expected him to stop and help me right away. But he did not. Another employee walked passed and asked him if the guy was management and the guys name. Most Walmart's are pretty equal, having cheap prices at the cost of not-so-great customer service. However, this one in particular has become downright unpleasant to shop at. Almost every single aisle now has glass cases protecting the most benign of items, which often cost under $10, from shaving razors to pregnancy tests to eye drops to backpacks. In order to retrieve an item, you have to press a button or track down a sales associate (who will often have to track down another associate, as they don't all have keys). After waiting for them to open the case, retrieve your item, and lock the case up again, they will walk it up to a specific register, where you will have to go to checkout regardless of how long the line is at the register or how slow the cashier is (and they're all pretty gosh darn slow). There's also a chance they'll accidentally sell your item to someone else or place it in the wrong place, something you'll find out only after getting to the front of the line. Need makeup? You'll have to squeeze into a tiny two aisles with huge security cameras pointed at you. Ready to purchase your makeup? You'll have to pay for it right at the one tiny register there, after having to wait in a line that blocks the entrance to the makeup area, spills out into the main walkway, or blocks the makeup. Need particularly pricey makeup? That's behind a glass case too, lucky you! Not had enough hassle or delay yet? Don't worry, you'll also wait in a line to leave the store as someone scans and marks all the receipts and checks the contents of your bags! We get it, Walmart. People steal your things and you don't like it. But you are alienating the people who actually pay for your wares, who just want a fast convenient shopping experience, and they are going to start taking their dollars elsewhere. read more

Sooo you come here for a great deal for an oil change but the wait and service is where you pay the price. I have been going here for at least four years because you can't beat $62 for an oil change on a Tundra. The turnaround time was record fast today, maybe 30 min. The issue is when you go to the cashier. There is always only one person working and there is no such thing as a quick transaction here. read more

I will never buy tires here again. Bought 65,000 warranty tires from this Walmart Auto center At 35,000 miles they needed to be replaced to to lack of tread. Well - it was a hassle and a frustrating experience. They throw up every roadblock so as not to stand behind their product. Had to "prove with receipt " I had "required tire rotations and aliments done. Otherwise that is a "violation" of the warranty. Really???? Then they said they no longer carry the tires I bought so to make the warranty work they had to order new tires at 40% more than I paid. So that essentially eats up the entire tire warranty. But OK - how much will it cost? "Oh you have to buy the new tires, and pay to have then installed, and then at the end we will tell you how much ( or how little) we will reimburse you for the bad tire warranty." "Can't you tell me how much I will pay before you do the work?" "No that is not how we do it" What legitimate store does business like this? You buy the product and then find out the cost? Crazy BAD warranty, BAD customer service, BAD policy. And no one at Walmart seems to care. read more

The three Associates that help me last month was remarkable that they deserve five stars. Because of hurricane Hillary everybody was in a frenzy and a store looked like Madhouse. The employees there were just working with all the incoming questions from all the customers. But it seems like there were these three Superstars that were just helping everyone with ease. I had to grab a few household stuff and I was in her because my kids were home. I've been in the retail industry for a while and I know how crazy that they can get during times like this. They manage themselves so calmly I was pretty amazed. I was patiently waiting for them to help me and I just saw them handling everyone with such care and respect. They are very valuable assets to this establishment. I make sure to say hi to them every time I see them here. I just let them know they are doing a good job and that they need a raise. read more

Done. I'm done with this Walmart. I went this afternoon and witnessed an undercover arrest/chase about 20 feet from me. This was not due to Walmart but it happened in their parking lot, so that was fun. I have really dry eyes and use very expensive prescription drops regularly but use over the counter eye drops too. I went right to the eye drop aisle and everything was locked up! Everything! I hit the button many times and waited about 5 minutes for someone to unlock my $8 desired drops. The lady was very nice and professional as she explained I couldn't have them, but had to go to checkout aisle 12 to pick them up and pay for them. I thought for a moment, and told her no thank you, I wasn't going to get them. I calmly pushed my cart aside and left the store. I went to target, bought more expensive drops because they didn't have the brand I usually get at Walmart and like, but that's how it'll be from now on. read more

Ehh...It's Walmart, don't expect much. The few times I have to go to Walmart I end up going to this one, mainly due to convenience. It's centrally located and next to a lot of other convenient places (fast food, Starbucks, Vons, etc.). I'll just say this is one of the better Walmarts to go to if you really have to go! I had went to this Walmart to get a battery for my 1997 windstar van . I can't believe how dishonest these employees are . While I was waiting quiet some time for battery I i did not realize what they did to mar car . They replaced my cables I had for some ugly ones they put. They pulled out my carpet and replaced it with old carpet . They took my headlights and put old one . Why would they do this I'm in tears when I went back because the engine light came back on . An employee told me that there has been complaints of these jerks removing parts from customers cars ! I said omg just because I have an old car that doesn't give them right to steal so much was stolen . They cover up for these guys that work in the auto dept, I have to go do a police report and have to hire a civil attorney ! Some Latina mgr was called to see video . Interesting she had this young guy look at video nothing was seen sure ! I couldn't see my car cause it was in hidden view! This is not going to stay like this ! I saw a weird review about them not having all oil filters so I called to make sure (even though I've gotten multiple oil changes at the Walmart on Palm by the border. First the phone rang like 20 times before I hung up. Then the second time someone answered and transferred me. Once I asked my question, she put me on hold for 16 minutes! She finally told me that they do have the filter but they would have to get it off the shelf. She asked if I was coming in now because she would pull it. I said I was coming around 4:30. Well it ended up being 5 before traffic (that was somewhat out of my way) sucked. I got there and the guy asked me to pop the hood. Then he said that he couldn't do it unless I had brought my own filter (who does that!) I told him that I had called to make sure so he went to "check" and came back 5 minutes later and said he couldn't though I swear I heard someone else in the garage saying they could. I started to drive away, but go so angry that I stopped and called the store to talk to the manager. I got an assistant manager who took my number and went to talk to his supervisor. The best they could offer was that if I went to an auto part store and bought a filter that they would subtract that price from the oil change. I told them that was ridiculous and that I would go somewhere else. read more

This place stinks. No, really. Literally. When you walk thru the automatic doors into that little lobby area it smells like a sewer or a bathroom where somebody dropped some *mad* science and then decided not to flush. I've been to this Walmart location no more than five times since March, but that stench is always there, no matter what day or what time. To be clear, I never choose to go there, it is only out of necessity, like when I can't find an item at other, better, cleaner retailers. Anyway, on my most recent visit, I came prepared. I entered the store wielding a travel sized orange scented hand sanitizer spray bottle and spritzed my hands and held them up to my nose/mask and tried to hold my breath. I kept spraying the air around me, like a superhero Odor Destroyer, trying to save fellow Walmart shoppers from that nasty stink. The other thing that STINKS about this Walmart is the endless lines, especially that "fast" lane, the last one on the far right. Always takes forever. And Walmart has GOT TO discontinue that ridiculous bagging carousel. I've accidentally walked outta many Walmarts, carrying one less bag than I should have, more than a few times over the years. It shouldn't be the customer's job to keep track of what the cashier did with their purchases! I can only imagine the statistics (if managers or loss prevention even tracks this sorta thing) of purchases that get left behind because of the confusing carousel bagging system! The one good thing tho is that the guy who worked there - at this stinky Walmart - who I asked to direct me to an item, not only told me which aisle, he walked me over to it and was helpful and nice. read more

Terrible customer service. Not enough employees for the amount of items behind the newly installed cages and protection schemes. This location has really gone downhill fast. My wife and I no longer feel safe shopping here due to a wide variety of factors. As soon as you enter the parking lot, you'll quickly find out. Not, one of the best Walmart locations. You have to clean your own cart, fight for a cart, no baby cart available if you are like me alone doing everything. Sanitizer station is all wet and I almost fell with my baby. I've had good experiences here in early mornings, but at 11am , don't bother. It gets disorderly and messy. Tried calling location and they just hung up. I called again incase was an error and they wouldn't answer. Walmart not the best place to shop. Target instead from now on. read more

the thing that makes me the most angriest probably when you walk into a store location in the people who are supposed to be the ones helping you and the ones who are being nice to you are the ones who are actually the most rude. That is completely unacceptable. This Walmart has a few staff members that do not do a very good job with customer service. But they do have many other staff members that are absolute sweethearts. It makes it a little difficult to write a review on the place because it is a little eclectic when it comes to that. But I will be as honest as I can. Some of the employees are good. Between the homeless, the lot cop, and the Bible enthusiasts this place is a disaster. The inside is relatively stocked and clean, and by a miracle the staff is okay. The entire time I'm worried my children might be abducted as I walk out to my vehicle. The only reason I went here a second time is because it's the closest, and I needed to do an online return, which is the only way I would even ever shop Walmart at all. This Walmart is located in Serra Mesa. This location is extremely hectic and parking is dreadful. Most of the time this location is stocked, organized and tidy. The shopping aisle are very wide, to allow comfortable cart shopping. This Walmart is not a Super Walmart. There grocery section is limited and they do not have a deli nor bakery. This Walmart does offer a pharmacy and eye glass. Walmart offers startling deals. Shocking Rollback deals!!! The associates and cashiers here are approachable. All the associates I encountered were well groomed, clean, and proficient. Anticipate loooong outlandish lines. Parking is awful. read more

Ugh. This Walmart is the closest to my house but dammit I'll avoid it if I can. Pharmacy department is infuriating. Slow and their employees don't know what they're talking about. Regarding the pharmacy department. I've only called to directly speak with someone in the pharmacy about 4 times but every single time, I'm put on hold for an average of 20 minutes or more. Of course, the associates that answer the phone are "polite" but when I'm told there's only one person ahead of me, I expect maybe, 5-10 minutes max of being put on hold? But to have it go all the way up to 20 and beyond is ridiculous. Please at least follow up with me to let ME know that YOU know I'm still there. And for those thinking maybe I should just call back, I have tried that as well and notified them I was previously on hold and then still get put on hold for a similar amount of time. ‍ Then it turns into a game of "how long can I be put on hold for this time~" read more

Whenever I review a Walmart I have to preface it by saying I hate Walmart. I go here knowing I'm going to be miserable and I try not to go to Walmart if possible. That being said I really dislike this Walmart. Where to start? Well first off I never feel safe here. There is constantly homeless and drunken/drugged out people just chilling in front of the building. They also have people out front begging EVERY time I've been here. The large sign saying "don't give money to people soliciting" doesn't stop them. They get downright aggressive when you won't give them attention. Need to return something? I feel sorry for you. I've had to return something here on 3 different occasions. The first time I got extremely lucky and didn't have to wait in line but like 2 minutes. The second time I was in line for 25 minutes, the most recent visit was 42 minutes waiting to return something. 13 people in front of me that's 3.2 minutes per person. Having worked retail I can tell you it shouldn't take that long to return something. Just shopping around? The store is dirty and disorganized. Rotted produce stinking up the grocery section. Good luck trying to find something in the clothing section. In fact the only department I ever see organized is the Shoe section so whoever is in charge of that area, good on you! The employees are rude. In the rare occasion I have to ask for help I've had a range of experiences from being telling me they're busy to straight up ignoring me and walking off. I know you heard me but okay sure whatever. Finally I'd love to know what qualifications you give to your receipt checkers at the door because I'm pretty sure its all profiling. Either check everyone's receipt or don't check anyone's. I have no problem showing you my receipt, but don't let 8 people walk by and then decide to pick me... every time. Especially when I just checked out at self check in front of you. Overall I come here when I "have" to and if not I pay a little more to shop somewhere else. I would never come here close to dark. I've been followed to my car during the day (and thankfully I had a friend with me that day), I sure wouldn't try that at night. read more

This incident occurred in the garden center check out where me and my family were racially profiled from the African American Older Lady who was the cashier who declined helping us because my basket had medium groceries un the basket which the African American family before me had a bit more yet me my disabled Autistic son and wife were told by this cashier she can't help us we need to go to the front. I asked why was the family before us helped she said sorry i cant help you i said ok lets go to the manager she stated "I DON'T CARE" , My wife said you should care this is your job. As all Walmarts are... This place is ridiculous! It's a love hate relationship here. The good things... And why I keep coming back. 1. You can find almost anything at Walmart or Walmart online... For cheap! That's the number one reason why I go here. All my basic household items are here in one location. Not in store? Ship site to store for free. Done! 2. It's close to home. It's very convenient. It's on the way to/from work. 3. You can return anything... However long it takes you to return it. If you remember in a decent amount of time and have the receipt you get your money back. If you forget and it's chilling in your trunk for awhile... (Always) You'll get store credit. Which it's OK since I'm getting more stuff anyways. It's great! 4. There are employees everywhere. It makes it easy when you can't find things. Most of the time they actually know what your looking for and where it is. Occasionally, you'll get that one, where they are more lost than you... And you just end up looking at them funny. 5. They're open 24/7! You know you have in the middle of the night randomness... And being open 24/7 saves the day! You would also be surprised of how many "interesting" people shop at night... Great time to play Walmart Bingo! The bad things... 1. It's always busy! The entire store. There's people everywhere and the checkout lines are always ridiculous! I like checking out in the garden area, but even those registers are no longer a hidden secret. 2. The return line. It's horrible! You can easily wait 20-30 minutes to return something. That's why stuff hangs out in my trunk till I get few items to return or when I get tired of looking at it. 3. The parking lot is always busy! It's always packed and no one stops...
